  • Professional How-to vinyl wrap videos in 4K here www.ckwraps.com
For in person training, please visit www.vinylwraptraining.com/ class sizes are limited.
Check out a wide selection of the tints here on Amazon:
    amzn.to/2M03uyN
    amzn.to/2JTvcfX
    What makes it unique?
    - Dry install not wet. Much easier to install and user friendly.
    - Can wrap bulbous and difficult shapes that would be impossible to wrap with traditional tint.
    - All other tint films I've used have a brownish effect, Vvivid's is a true grey color ( light and dark smoke )
    - Adhesive is repositionable.
    - No need to use solution etc... and wait for edges to dry to seal a finished project
    Cons
-Because it has air-release it does have a slight orange peel to the film, it does not look like perfect glass from 12 inches away.

Brother Tintman...you’re videos rock. Some folks are just gifted in certain ways and you’ve got a gift for teaching and mad skills for wrapping!! I started with little knowledge on wrapping and tinting. I got hooked...love the stuff although it can be aggravating and difficult at times for sure. Your videos are the best and a tremendous help. Thanks...keep them coming!!

I just did my tail lights and fogs with this material and tape technique. Overall it's really nice to work with, takes a little getting used to the thick material, I ruined the first piece with some permanent fingering from overstretching slightly. Good gloss, good scratch healing, good light transfer.. I did light smoke.

I'll be blacking out the window trim and grille surround on my '16 TLX, wrapping the tails, and may even try tackling the roof (all for the first time). For the tails: You tint the lights while still on the vehicle. Is there any benefit/detriment to removing them and wrapping them off the vehicle? Thanks from a wrap noob.

Hi. So I wrapped my grill and chrome boot lid trim in Matt black. Looked awesome. Wrapped some heater vent in 3D carbon just coz I had the cheap wrap left over from an in house project. Vents came out ok but wondering if heat will make it peel. If it does will try again with some 5/6D. So anyway I usually spray tint rear clusters and am pretty good at getting them Matt or glossy with some polish. But then saw that you can wrap lights too. I was just about to get a light or medium smoke tint for like £5 for 2 lights worth and do my front lights when I saw this vid. But my question is this. For a novice is it worth paying the £25-£30 for this vvivid tint? And you said its easier to fit which I hope it is, but am I also correct in that it won't yellow or brown the light from the front lights too? Should I try it? Thanks

Really interesting about how with certain brands of film you have to cut out the white portions of the lens to avoid browning! I was seeing on another Vinyl Wrapping channel that they recommend replacing the wrap on pieces like the roof every 2-3 years? Can you chime in with your opinion on that? Would you recommend that after wrapping pieces that see a lot of heat cycle like roofs and headlights/taillights that you redo it every few years so that the paint beneath doesn't get ruined? Thanks!

Definitely the oracal is a pain on difficult lights I was a FSA for digicut out of Oklahoma and wS teaching ppf and they use d a thin Chinese ppf and definitely Mott as clear as some brand names but I alwarysee a little distortion in the more workable material !! And the same goes with shrinking window film ! The new targa Porsche Back glass was like reverse wrapping the back glass !! Super tuff my first time but I got it !! I know some installers use a torch I’m getting ready to start with wrapping spirt fishing boats !! And just color change to start !! What equipment are I using as a plotter and for programs and is there any that work good in a mobile van or trailer and what programs do u use !! Do u do digital wrap and do u design or do u have s graphic designer u use or is it something u can take s class at avaery or 3m ! I live in palm beach and it’s the digital age and need to stay current !! And thecwrap eith self healing properties can u cut or tap a hole and heat it out !! And with the air release does it leave any small stuff to let the sun draw out

Ive literally just tinted my taillights for the first time using these Vvivid wraps and this tutorial helped a bunch. It was so easy to work with. HOWEVER, could anybody please give me some advice on how to avoid those glue lines?

Would you be able to use this film to wrap a chrome front grill on a 20124runner? And if so, would it last?
