I tried this same wrap on my focus st, I found it very difficult to get it to bend around the sharper angles of the headlight. Oh well I’ll buy some more and try again as it wasn’t very expensive.
This looks amazing but I wish you did a before and after of the headlights on so we could see a difference before and after. But that looks awesome I might have to do it
I found it held up well. Like most wrap products, make sure your edges are laid down tight. I tested a new tint film on these lights more recently, so I had to remove it.
Btw. I didn't realise because it's hard to tell, but there's a protective film on the tint, I applied it with that film still on, but it would have been 100X easierif it was removed beforehand. I only realised it was there when I removed the tint and discovered another layer.
Yer I seen them but not sure I probably would go with blue for the front n smoke black for the back lights well that's what I'm gonna be doing with my days 4yr old car n great video
Did all the glue cleanup in a few days? I just bought some. Watching videos like yours so I hope I don’t screw mine up. Is a spray bottle a bad idea, or totally unnecessary? Thanks for posting it!
Hi there! This is a dry application product. No glues or solvents needed. All you do is clean the surface properly. I use 70% isopropyl alcohol. Then apply the film using a heat gun when you need to stretch it. Then after you heat it more thoroughly to activate the built in adhesive (called post heating). Then one day when you decide to peal it off, there shouldn’t be any adhesive left behind either.
Actually it held up better than I thought. I took it off and added a new smoke tint recently. The biohex left a little bit of adhesive residue but it was simple to clean off
‘Goo Gone’ and a microfiber towel. Then cleaned again with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Very little effort was needed. The residue was only in a couple spots near edges
It can have it’s advantage’s as long as you can hold the headlight firmly while stretching the film. Can be tricky one-handed so a helper could be useful, otherwise having them on the car can be easier
Hello again! I would recommend any of VViViD’s headlight/taillight tint. It is nice to work with and looks great! You can email or instagram message me pictures (links in the description) and I can share my thoughts
Sold by VVIVID in Montreal. I am not aware of the laws there with headlight film. This is clear and not tinted though. Therefore no light is inhibited.
@@Donslife I can’t find a clear version of the pulse is it just a smoke version of the pulse that’s out right now? Also for what you did on this video did you buy the micro pattern or the larger pattern for this clear film.
In my experience this looks cool in direct light, but if it's cloudy (99% of the time in the UK) - then they just look hazy and it ages the car, makes it look like the headlights are 15 years old and uncared for.
Thanks for the demo I was looking up this brand of tint specifically and found your video, perfect awesome!
Fantastic!
Looks awesome and it's legal as far as I know and dosent affect light output at night what so ever gives little flash and flair but not over kill 😎
I like it on the car

It takes practice if you haven’t wrapped before. You’ll nail it
Did you nail it ?

My bad
@@Donslife how’s it holding up? I’m going to purchase some using your link🫡

That gray is vinyl? Beautiful
Yes it is! Nardo Grey Ultra Gloss

Just picked this up for my mini cooper, really curious if ill like it with how big the headlights are!
How’d they come out for the mini? I’m curious I want to do it to mine
I want to try this also on my Infiniti let us know !
did it work on the mini cooper headlights ???
Looks nice, hey you know you can get it so your headlights won't flicker in the camera by changing your frame rate

Can you show how tint a 2010 lexus RX 350 headlight???
I don’t know anyone with that car to lend me for a video
since its been over a year, what is the status of the film now? any issues with peeling or bubbling? has cold/hot weather affected it?
Actually it held up better than I thought. I took it off and added a new smoke tint recently. The biohex left a little bit of adhesive residue but it was simple to clean off
@@Donslife thanks for the quick response! great video btw
Thank you 🙏🏻
@@Donslife what did you use to clean up the headlight and did it scratch it?
‘Goo Gone’ and a microfiber towel. Then cleaned again with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Very little effort was needed. The residue was only in a couple spots near edges
That came out really sweet.
Looks Cool Man, thinking about putting on my Lexus GSF
Do it!
Man that look awesome !!! I did order a roll last week. Have a Lexus RX 350 should I do the taillights too ?
Why not!? It won’t harm anything! Thank you for checking out the video!
looks cool but is there a lot of glare in the sunlight
That looks SICK!! I want to do mine now!
My headlights currently aren’t installed, do you think it would be easier to do this before I put them in?
It can have it’s advantage’s as long as you can hold the headlight firmly while stretching the film. Can be tricky one-handed so a helper could be useful, otherwise having them on the car can be easier
Looks great! Im thinking of smoking my headlights and taillights on my Tundra. Any recommendations for material?

@@Donslife Appreciate it!
Is that the regular clear or clear large. Thanks in advance ? Looks awesome
Thanks man, Just the regular clear, not the large. The video description is the exact wording from the website
@@Donslife appreciate man love the content just subscribed! 🤝
Bonus! Glad to have ya
Incase of a halogen bulb will it still work?? Or will it get melted
I think it would be okay, but every light is different for how much heat is carried through the lens
Thank you . Because mine is not just warm, its hot!!. 4 to 5 hours night driving so i think its not suitable yeah even if i like it
Thanks anyway
Hello Did you buy one roll or two for the headlights?
I always measure what I need first and order extra incase I make mistakes with the first application
With using this does it help with headlight protection from discolor or just age
I don’t know, but it does seem to hide the wear and pitting I had on my lenses already
I did this back in 2022 and now is 2024 and is glued on to my headlights can take it off 😢 the vinyl is soo fragile break if I try to peel it off
Civics have had those for years now. They sell these precut on etsy.
Love your channel had to sub 👍🏼
Wicked!
really wanna get this, but is it even legal in florida?
No idea, here it is okay since it doesn’t impede light transmission.
What color are those wheels? Subscribing‼️
Custom Bronze I picked out at a local shop
Is the 1FT X 5FT enough for both headlights? (2013 accord)
Yes that should be if the headlight is no bigger than 8-9” high. You’ll want a couple inches of extra material on the top and bottom.
How many feet/in did you get for this project
Off the top of my head…maybe 1 ft by 5ft

NICE!
Is it legal to have these in Texas?
I have no idea 🤷🏻♂️
I can tell you’re from the far north but I can’t figure out. Sounds like Wisconsin
Farther! Saskatchewan, Canada, right above North Dakota
Where are you located... southern California I need to hire you for my car.
Sorry dude. I am in Canada 🇨🇦
Is that the pulse?
No this one is just the BIO HEX+ clear
I wanted to try the Pulse version but at the time it was sold out. I may give it go on one of my other vehicles eventually.
@@Donslife I can’t find a clear version of the pulse is it just a smoke version of the pulse that’s out right now? Also for what you did on this video did you buy the micro pattern or the larger pattern for this clear film.
Mine is the micro pattern Bio Hex+. You might be right, pulse is only in a smoke version on the website.

Luckily we get a lot of sun here
This might be the most ugly foil I've ever seen on a headlight.
Luckily, I get to review some new products on my channel so I can inform others
now you have a gay car LOL
Are you hitting on me?
Damn thats gay for a ma.... Sorry, i forgot BMW dont make cars for many anymore 🙁
Interesting
Looks really good
It’s been a year too and it still looks new!
