@peterb4616 there is a bug that can cause that. First make sure you did do the step that adds the shortcut to the watch. And then in the settings apps click your name at the top then iCloud then the show more then look for shortcuts and turn the iCloud sync off and then back on.
Due to working from home and not going to many places I based my “super shortcut” around my focus modes. So depending on what focus mode I’m in dictates what the action button does. Good video.
Really awesome shortcut. Super useful. Minimizes the number of presses needed, when compared to some other, non-location based, shortcuts I had set up.
I have to admit, i say I never really got into apple shortcuts until I had my first AWU2 and iPhone 15 Pro. Now I anything I don’t like, I resolve with apple shortcut.

Deleting from the phone should remove them from the watch. You may want to try going into the settings app and then iCloud and turning the syncing for shortcuts off and back on.

very informative video, thanks! did pretty much the same setup. i was wondering if there was a way to also add a required time to the location. for example when im at home (first condition) the shortcut will open a focus timer during the afternoon but changes that to 'sleep mode' in the evening/ night. would love to get an answer here!

the same concept, but not the exact same because with this I setup watch only actions like workout and the watch flashlight, the phone has it own flash light trigger.
You do know that Reminder has a location based activation, so you can be reminded to do x y or record your voice input. I was driving and had a chime on my apple watch from Reminders with a message because I added a location reminder a few hundred meters away from the DIY store. I am sure you can use shortcuts to make it more pwerful
The ultras the only one with the action button. But all models do have GPS so the location stuff should work even without the iPhone and a cellular connection.

Question when I set up the action location I press the action button and all I get is shortcut action button and it doesn’t do anything else. What did I do wrong?
Did you use my provided template or setup your own? If you own did you setup something in that final otherwise section? It may just be the distance info needs tweaked a bit.

Also, When I add the shortcut flashlight function and when I go to active it, it chimes back saying this product does not have a flashlight function on my ultra.
Otherwise is built into the If statement so you may need to read it. Also is also 2 flashlight options one for phone on for watch so make sure it has the watch app icon. It could also be called torch is some areas.
I am having the issue of my ultra not running the commands on the watch, but only on my iphone. shortcuts are synced with icloud, show on watch is activated, i have zero clue what the issue could be. pls help, ive been wanting to use my action button to its full capacity

hi i did everything but still my watch did not have the action button shortcuts after updated to watchos 10.4

Yeah I don’t like the little focus icon at the top of the watch when in different modes. Just my personal preference.

Shows up as Date now at first on mine and then changes to Current date once I add it.
Is there a way to add a generic example? For example anytime im at any airport

When I add the get distance option it is linking to the location I added above it and setting the end location automatically.

Yeah the orange screen delay is super annoying wish they’d improve it. Ultra 2 was a little bit faster in my tests.
