Was this a show or some kind of drum workshop? I guess the guy gets the job done, but man his style always seems so "stiff and forced"... the opposite of "relaxed and flowing".
He’s a rock-solid drummer and perfect for E-Street, but definitely light on groove. I’m a big Springsteen fan, but I don’t listen to them for tasty, groove-filled drumming. That’s just not who they are.
I left Toronto in 1990, good to see the horseshoe is still going
Great cover. The guitarist playing those riffs and singing too? Kudos! Tight, great musicinship throughout though, plus they made it their own👍😊
Max, where's the FREAKIN' COWBELL?
Yep. He would’ve been better off continuing to use the bell on the ride cymbal. Hi hats are played foot only.
I've been playing this song since I've been playing drums and I can sing it to😅
Great rendition. Max is a beast !! 🤟🤟🎸🥁✌️🖤
Max wrote as book about his fav drummers it was actually good
Seven year old Yoyoka has you beat to a crisp.
Lol description says Bruce Springsteen drummer! Drummer of the E Street Band dang it!

Hes a very average rock drummer, excellent at jazz, but he butchered this Bonham masterpiece.

The magic to this song is Johns bass drum work.....I couldnt hear any "triplets" from Max......get real
Where could Max get lessons from you?
I forgot to mention that Larry Niles is a much better drummer than Max
This Japanese girl absolutely nailed the drums on this song at only 8 years old: th-cam.com/video/91pz1E8pAOY/w-d-xo.html
MAX is a true professional. A solid drummer. Great BUISNESSMAN. Not a technically superb drummer. Sorry.
I can clearly hear Max playing bass drum triplets at several points in the song.
Seems like the credit for this should go mostly to the singer. Those parts are the hardest to cover for the song.
