Hey man, I was sitting here stranded at 11:45 PM an hour from home in a not so great neighborhood in Fargo North Dakota. I had this issue and called my wife to wake up our two little boys and drive all the way over here and pick me up as well as all of my music equipment. While waiting for her I opened up your video and checked that fuse, that fixed the issue!!!!! I was able to call my wife before she left the house so they could get back into bed. I am so very thankful for your video buddy. God bless you.
That you so much for the video, you saved the day and fixed the truck. Your fix was exactly the correct information. thank you so very much!@@THEMOWERMEDIC1
Thank the good Lord above for you man. Was sitting at Loves dead and defeated. Your video popped up while searching. 1 20a fuse later and I’m on the road again. Praising God almighty. Thank you sir.
Just wanted to say that two years later your video is still helpful. I didn’t need the video, just the title helped me. My sons truck wouldn’t start and I just figured, running great and then crank but no start could be something others have dealt with on this common of a motor…..sure enough, fuse 27 and done. Thanks SO much!!!
This video is everything! Planning to drive 600 miles out of town Friday for holidays. Truck wouldn't start, stranded at work today. Thinking this is the LAST thing I need!!! Quick google search led me here, someone at work had a fuse! Replaced, started right up!!! Went to store and resupply my extra fuse collection l, which should have done a long time ago. Thank you very much for this!!!!!
Broooo!!! My truck (2014 f-150) was doing this exact same s***, I watched your video, and it was 100% the # 27 fuse! You saved me like $300+ dollars bro I much appreciate you 💯
I literally just had this issue. Paid 105$ for tow home. I knew it wasn't getting fuel. Got home and seen your video and the thing is, I had already called tow and decided to wait to watch video till I got home. Should of watched and fixed myself. And saved 105$. I had the fuses in glovebox. I fell like an idiot! Lol
Heavy machinery mechanic myself, just want to say thanks for the info . Just got off work ( Friday) and want to go home and truck wouldn't crank. googled the issue and your video popped up. 5 minutes later I knew the fuse was blown . Got a fuse from a buddy in our Vehicle Service Department in our plant and back on the road home . Watched the rest of your video and ordering the part to fix it right, Right after thanking you again for the part number.
A big shout out to you for your video. I was stranded in the woods but with your help I was able to create a jump on the fuel pump fuse to get it cranked and back to the house. I will order the rewiring fix and get that installed. Until it arrives I just put in another fuse. Much appreciated!!!
@@smokenfilmz4184 a jump is went you replace the fuse with a solid metal. I didn’t say anything about a “jumpstart”. Everyone gets to be a dumbass. Today was your day.
Perfect video, thanks! I had pulled my pickup up on ramps, turned it off, and proceeded to change my oil. I got all done changing my oil, and went to start the truck and it crank and crank tune would not fire. What the hell could changing the oil have done to make my vehicle not start, LOL? So I look on TH-cam to see if there's any relevant information about a vehicle not starting after oil change, and this video is one of the first to pop up. Boom, easy solution for what could have been a nasty problem.
Thanks Brother!!! 2013 platinum and I’ll drive it till the wheels fall off. This crank no start went intermittent on me about three days ago. Now 100% resolved.
Thanks,,,you saved me money. I've had my truck for yrs and tried to start it this morning with no luck.Found your video and changed fuse. Running great now. Thanks
Thank you so much for this video!! I was stranded an hour from home with this problem and after the first troubleshoot didn’t work, I was worried. Found your video and replaced the fuse which was enough to get home! Showed my husband your video and he’ll attempt this permanent fix.😊
Had to comment kuz I couldn't believe how easy that was. First video I watched and it's like it was made just for me. I got a 2011 5.0, checked and fuse 27 was burnt out! The only other one that's same fuse is 76, swapped them and started right up. Started shaking right away and all kind of other lights came on so you really need that one too lol. Went and got a pack of fuses for $5, problem solved! Thanks!
Mr I wish I had your address to send you a gift. You saved me hours of troubleshooting on top of getting me out of being stranded away from home. Thank you 10 times over for sharing this. God bless! I hope you have a good day!
Spot on, truck wouldn't start and I found this video at the top of my search, I pulled the fuse and sure enough it was just like he said. Very helpful video
Great info 👍 I really appreciate it. Sure enough, my fuse looked like the one in the video, I replaced it, and it started right up. Thank you, my friend
Just helped me out. Was 75 miles out of town and bingo melted fuse.. Pried it out popped in a new one on my way home and relocation kit on the way. Appreciate it!
I thought his solution is too simple but my truck, an '09 F150 worked perfectly after I replaced the fuse. No need to transfer it because it was not burned just a simple case of broken fuse. A million thanks to you Sir.
Was it broken and melted? This is a common failure and this fix exists to eliminate this high failure fuse holder. He said in the begining he could have just done what you did but it will fail again later down the road
My truck just did the same thing, got the parts ordered because I don’t have another vehicle, cross my fingers it will work. Thank you for this video, god knows what a mechanic would charge.
Thank you! You saved me 2 hours of fooling around with a fuse that has already been converted. Sticker & everything. Fuel pump isn’t working yet but at least this issue is eliminated.
Thank you for this video. My 2009 Ford F150 started this last week. Found this video yesterday at work. As soon as I got home the fuse in spot 27 was not only blown, but burnt. It took me a minute to get it out. Going to attempt the reroute to the new slot tomorrow when the part gets in. You did an amazing job explaining this and hopefully my baby will be running again tomorrow.
Saved my morning with a quick fix to get me to work. First time this has happened with this truck. Might have to do the conversion if it happens again. Thanks!

Thanks for the video. Quick update on my 09 4.6. similar issue. I did the fuse relocation, and checked the normal things. Bt noticed my truck would not start even on starter fluid in the intake. My problem turned out to be the crank position sensor. This happened about 3 months after replacing my water pump. I think the coolant damaged the sensor. Hope this helps.
Thank You, sir. That fuse was the culprit. Replaced it and so far, so good. Hopefully, I don't have to do the replacement fuse location anytime soon. Thanks again!

He gave me an estimate of $5000. I felt like it was too much and I was afraid that removing the dash might mean he could not put it back like the factory did.
Thanks for sharing! The starting problem with my 2013 F-150 5.0 was intermittent so I thought the fuel pump was going bad.
