- This is an educational video showing the aftermath of a minor bite by a 11' Burmese python pet snake. Please be careful when handling these magnificent animals and learn to " Read your snake" . This is the second time I've been bitten by him in 8 years. In case you get tagged by a pet snake it is very important no to pull out the the snake and let it release on its own. You don't want to have a toothless snake with all of its teeth embedded in your flesh. I hope you found this video interesting and educational and Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel.
This gives me some thoughts on re-enforcing my burm's future vivarium. Maybe some kind of bolt and latch system? They are powerful animals and i try not to underestimate them as escape artists ;-) thanks for posting this vid!
My 8,5 foot Jaguar Carpet took my (whole) finger while feeding once. It REALLY hurt, plenty of blood and 24 teath marks. Still got three teath left in my finger..

I hadled snakes for 10 years and the only thing that would cause is that it started to go into hibernation and his eyes clouded up so he could see and stuck out because you looked like a threat.

No they are constrictors, they bite and wrap you up.

One thing you must do when training burmese puppies is to give them an ice bath (for 1 hour) if they bite. You can also thrash them with a newspaper afterwards for added effect if you wish. They associate poor behaviour with bad experiences for themselves, and promptly settle down. Another form of punishment is to play rap music (50 scent, Reanna, or M&M) in their cage for 2 hours. Less effective, but less traumatic for the snake.

Uh, absolutely not. You can kill them with an ice bath and hurting them only makes them associate YOU with being a bad creature

Mohammed Fadli their bites don't hurt at all because they have small teeth. the only time i get bit is some times when i feed and they miss the rat, they get my hand. if they latch on then it could be kinda painful
Yes they can, when they are a bigger size, but it doesn't hurt as bad as it looks.
