If he really wanted to save her, quit making her produce eggs, work with her to help ease her aggressiveness which includes not being such a loud buffoon, and build a big enough containment for her to provide comfort, enrichment, and peace. Less drama and noise is always better in this case.

Everyone gets nervous, scared even around big snakes .. it's natural, but one thing I've personally learnt keeping snakes & no longer looking on from a distance is its all about gradual desensitisation .. the first time getting bit is scary, the first time handling a snake is scary, in fact everytime you handle a snake that's bigger then the last it's scary, but over time pushing yourself mentally each time & as your experience grows you get gradually desensitised to these things .. don't get me wrong getting bit by a large python is not on our to do list but its the nature of the beast when it comes to keeping these beautiful reptiles, all those experiences we as keepers ourselves have had, all that desensitisation & learning, pushing yourself further .. it allows us to truly appreciate jays passion, commitment & life experiences with reptiles.
That's the way i see it,

My daughter went to the Reptile Zoo last week with a friend and we returned this morning to purchase a crested gecko. 🦎 She is 10 and held the snakes, lizards and fed the turtles. Such an amazing place and so educational! My daughter came home and told me everything she learned. Thank you!!!!! 🙏🏻

Other breeders also gently cut an opening in the eggs, after some have hatched - to make sure they are okay and continue to let them hatch on their own. But, I've never seen anyone tear open the eggs and pull a snake out like he does.

Actually, experienced electricians can test with their fingers if a line is live or under load. Jay has good experience with the snakes and is calm even when bitten. It's cause every good snake handler knows that reticulated pythons only want you dead when they start wrapping themselves around you. A love bite means nothing.

I have Autism and one of the things that came along with it was I'm extremely sensitive to certain materials (cloth, textures, all that jazz)
And I've held snakes before and always remembered how calming it was for me, the feeling of a snake and how they move has always been interesting and helped me when I was distressed.
So, with some money I went and got a Ball Python and named her Peanut Butter! It's been almost a year, and she's helped a whole lot with some recent stress and sensory overload moments. A lifesaver honestly haha
I don't bring her out in public because snakes can't be trained like a support dog or any other animals for that kind of job, and she wouldn't be qualified lol

Yeah I'm not watching his videos anymore somebody is forcing him to handle snakes when the snakes are obviously aggressive towards him and he should not be handling the snakes because they are being too aggressive. If anything the snakes need to be put down and killed. Never should an animal be allowed to be this aggressive towards a human.

This dude doesnt even provide his snakes a hide which should obviously be mandatory for ANY animal, especially one that likes to climb, swim and so on) your only existence is to breed. You give birth to your babies and, reticulated pythons being a species of snake with a very well developed mother instinct, you would OBVIOUSLY get agitated if someone wanted to take your babies.
And then theres the fact that snakes are literally instinct-based, and WILD animals. Sure, captive bred snakes are way different from wild snakes, they are more used to humans, but you have to think about the fact that snakes have character, just like any other atleast halfway intelligent animal on this planet. Some are just more pissy than others. And you say an animal needs to be put down because its not "well behaved and aggressive"?? Excuse me, thats like the equivalent of going into a lion pen and then suing the place for the fact that you're gonna get absolutely shredded.

The way he was constantly turning his back to her and taking his eyes off of and being aware of the space and distance between her reach is extremely dangerous and unprofessional when handling reptiles like that. He earned each bite due to getting wrapped up and distracted in the moment.
