    Oh, just wanted to put this. I read the first story some times ago and it came out, I don't remember if in the comment or update that the wife didn't "abort" she had a spontaneous abortion. Her pregnancy was harder that he let on, even in that month that she was "better" and the stress of finding out he cheated made her lose the baby. The husband was trying to manipulate the story for support

      In most place you can't have an abortion at 4 months so that was a bit fishy when I first read it so I went to read the whole post and I was right. She called her bff during the night (she was sleeping alone) because she saw blood coming from down there. She didn't wake the husband and went to the hospital with her. Or something like that. We can probably find it again if he didn't delete the Post

      A mistake is to over salt your soup, not to dick down a coworker.
      A contradiction is loving someone and cheating on them, when both of you are in a lifelong, committed, and monogamous relationship.
      This is why I value respect over love. Cause pricks like this genuinely think they can love someone and cheat on them.
      Anyone can love and be love without being respected. Hell, we all have children, nieces, nephews, etc. You can even love someone without liking them.

      Literally this! I am intolerant to onion, garlic, beans, pulses, soya, various vegetables, some fruits etc etc. Eating out is a nightmare. But any time I'm invited to a friend's birthday and the menu looks difficult I always contact them to see can I be accommodated. If not, I can still basically eat a plate of chips and would have something more substantial at home before leaving. Why? Because at a celebratory dinner the important thing is that we spend time together, and I know my dietary requirements are awkward. If all my friends did this every time yeah I'd be upset, but if it's occasional then I can suck it up for one evening.

      My husband has an eating disorder and often cannot find anything to eat on a menu. Often. (This is from forced eating and abuse as a child. He has given me permission to talk to others about it.) This doesn't even include his many food allergies (honey, certain berries and nuts, citrus, bananas, and unfortunately more).
      This is not an excuse though. We have many compromises, one of which is ordering from two different places and eating either at home or at a park. When this isn't possible we either buy food for him to eat in the car before accompanying me into a restaurant or vice versa. (We take turns.) I make sure if it's a potluck or something to make two foods - one he'll be happy eating and the other for everybody else. He makes sure I can spend quality time with him and still enjoy the food I love.
      Over the 14 years we've been together he's gone from "I'll just not eat any of this food I'm planning to pay for because I don't want to be embarrassing" to asking for the order to be altered beforehand, when possible. He also has tried new foods he considers scary just because he wanted to know about the food I love. I'll often ask if he wishes to smell or touch the food, and he's so quick to do so now when he's interested. I'm so proud of him. ❤
      I'm not sure why I'm sharing this, but I guess I wanted to say that you can have deep issues with food and still be a supportive partner. I'm glad the woman in the story took the advice of others seriously. :)

And I’ve never seen a kid’s menu that didn’t offer chicken tenders or nuggets, hot dogs, pizza, Mac & cheese or other items that aren’t steak/sea food.

      @@UnderoathHasMyBrain right? Between you and I, I bet most restaurants don’t carry a lot of things we could eat…but we figure it out.
      Like I mentioned in my other comment, I have Crohn’s disease. I didn’t go into detail as it can be boring, but I also have zero large intestine and a rather small amount of small intestine, this causes a problem called short bowel syndrome (aka short gut). So there is actually a huge list of things that I cannot eat. It sucks, because there are a lot of foods that I like that I haven’t been able to eat for several years now. I also have some sensitivities to food and drink because I have lupus…which has caused chronic kidney failure. And my husband was a type 1 diabetic…yet if we’d go out as a family and the choice was mine, his or our son’s…the other two would always find something they could eat. Typically we would choose as a family, but for special occasions when we’d go out where it was the celebrant’s choice…we all would still have a nice meal and a fun time together.
      We’ve also gone to many family events over the years where food is served. We’ve never encountered a situation where there was absolutely nothing that we could eat.
      Our son also has Crohn’s disease (but not short gut) and now that he’s an adult he too can go anywhere and always find something he can eat.
      And thank you for sharing your comment. I have a few family members who are autistic as well as some with food allergies and none of them have ever made the rest of us feel like we have to always cater to their needs…but as a family we do try to avoid situations that would offer absolutely zero choices for our loved ones. Just as I’m sure that people who know you well wouldn’t ask you to go somewhere that you wouldn’t be able to find something to eat.
      After scrolling through the comments I’ve noticed that the majority of people agree with me and you …and there’s a large percentage of people that have allergies, texture issues, sensory issues and other reasons they can’t eat certain things and all of them have agreed that the wife in this story is just being an AH. 😆

    Story 1: While I'm sad for the wife that she had a miscarriage, it was for the best (as cruel as that sounds).
    OP isn't a good person, and he clearly lies about how much he loves his wife. Oh I mean "loved his wife".
    The second he cheated, he destroyed the marriage. And I do applaud Lucy for telling the wife.
    I also don't believe that he only cheated because he was drunk. You still have control over yourself when you're drunk, maybe not the best control, but it's not like he didn't know what he was doing (as he remembers it, so he wasn't blackout drunk).
    The way OP solves this, is to leave the wife the hell alone, not contest the divorce and vanish from her life forever.
    Also, even though it was a miscarriage, had it been an abortion, I wouldn't have blamed her for it. He can't be trusted, so I wouldn't have wanted to have a child with him regardless (and be "tied" to him for at least 18 years).

At 4 months pregnant she would be around 16 weeks and into her second term, health care providers will usually only do an abortion in the first trimester, or less than 13 weeks, unless their is a medical issue. Either this story is made up, or this poor woman miscarried and had to go have a procedure done to help deliver the fetus.

    • @audreydoyle5268
      @audreydoyle5268 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +150

      Yeah, sounds way more like an incomplete miscarriage to me. The back and forth she went through in her mind must have caused the foetus to become just as stressed as the mother and partially detached.
      Ab*rtion care only extends till the moment you wake up from the procedure and can stand on your own. They wouldn't have dr*gged her up so much that she would be knocked out for a whole day.
      Sounds much more like she started to miscarry, it went on for longer than a couple hours, and went to the ER. They administered the medication to complete the miscarriage TO PREVENT SEPSIS, and monitored her until she was only spotting, no clots.

I'd do the same thing as you if a restaurant somehow had absolutely nothing I could stomach.

    The part that gets me about the first story is that he was very quick to tell Lucy that the whole thing was a mistake (which was probably hurtful to her too) but never bothered to say anything about this mistake to his wife, the person most affected by this. She only found out because Lucy told her, and I'll bet he fully intended to hide what he did, which absolutely shatters his trustworthiness as a partner.
    There's a big difference between finding out that your husband is doing something bad, and him telling you and owning up to his mistake. Whilst both can break a relationship, owning up before she finds out is at least salvageable.

Soon as he found out I was pregnant he flipped, he dragged me on social media just everything!! Guess what? I just aborted the baby and BLASTED myself on social media. Then he played victim, everybody literally dragged him after all that and he for 6 years messaged me happy Mother’s Day 😭 He was such a sad lil bihh I messaged his girl and told her and sent her screen shots and it stopped lol.

      not an easy decision to make but I think those are good reasons to not have a child. I kind of hoped she would have made an abortion, but it turned out she had a miscarriage: In my mind it wouldn't have made her a bad guy. I was scrolling and hoping that someone would point that out. Stress can lead to developing of autism for example, not to talk about raising a child in that kind of environment where the parents don't get along. I hope she and you are doing well.

      Yeah, because disappearing first thing in the morning two days (coincidentally the number of days required in most places to "think about it" before receiving an abortion), after learning he cheated on her, being unable to answer the phone, coming home late with a friend who has clearly driven her home and telling him to move out ASAP, telling him to leave her alone because she's tired and in pain, and then says he can collect the foetus from the hospital if he wants to; doesn't all just scream "had a last minute abortion" at 4 months pregnant.
      🤦🏻‍♀️😬😒🙄

    • @cinderbeery3963
      @cinderbeery3963 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      @Jazzinthedark84 theyre saying it sounds like a miscarriage. This can happen under extreme stress. You can't just get an abortion in a day. It's something that has to be scheduled and depending on where she is, she potentially cant even get an abortion due to how far along she was. There are many other ways pregnancies can end without there being an abortion involved

    • @audreydoyle5268
      @audreydoyle5268 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Jazzinthedark84 it takes two doctor's visits with more than 24 hours between them to get an ab*rtion in most places, and that is typically under 6 weeks. She was 4 months pregnant, a time notorious for spontaneous miscarriages (between 10 and 16 weeks is when most known pregnancies end). Especially being under the stress of knowing your partner isn't faithful and could leave at a moments notice is no insignificant emotional distress.
      Take it from someone who has experienced a miscarriage vs known someone who had an abortion. Miscarriages HURT LIKE A MF FOR HOURS, SOMETIMES DAYS. Ab*rtions are removed entirely and you're doped up. You'd be sore after an ab*rtion when the meds wear off, but not in so much pain that you'd ask your partner to leave you alone, even in normal circumstance.
      During a miscarriage, you are in so much pain, you cannot stand, you cannot speak other than a whimper, you can barely see, let alone get up to answer a phone call. And any sane person who respects themself would definitely not answer a call from an unfaithful partner for over 24 hours.
      Ab*rtion care only extends till the moment you wake up from the procedure. You are discharged as soon as you can stand. She wouldn't be coming home late if she wasn't being held for monitoring before discharge. They know they've gotten everything with an ab*rtion. But with an incomplete miscarriage, they have to watch them for hours, sometimes days after administering the medication to complete the miscarriage.
      They wouldn't hold her for over a day for an ab*rtion.

Yes, they try to accommodate my dietary restrictions but sometimes it just isn't safe enough. I eat before I go, I carry snacks, I can sometimes order a plain salad. Regardless, I'm not going to ruin an evening due to my health condition while this entitled women is prioritizing her preferences over her husband and family. Her husband went above and beyond to try to find a solution and she can't even compromise a little?
    It may not have been as shocking as the other stories but you're still going to need a bigger red flag for her behavior.
