Thanks for the informative video! I had no idea what pelagic birds were until now. Nature never ceases to amaze me. Looking forward to next week’s video🐦🌊
Ill be visiting Costa Rica in 3 months or so for my internship and I found your channel while doing some research for the trip. I love to see the effort you put into the editing, the enjoyable commentary and everything around it in your videos, keep it up! As a fanatic seabirder, this video got my attention straight away, and I had a few good laughs about the absolute struggle that is sea birdwatching XD. One note! The shearwater you show when talking about the Manx is actually a great shearwater! Identified by its more brownish upper colouration, oil-stain looking brown belly patch and a charactaristic dark brown hood. I am really looking forward to experiencing Costa Rica and I hope to get on a pelagic (or two).
Thanks so much for the kind words - and also for the correction, it's the best way to learn :) Sea birds really are a different kind of challenge but it's fascinating to experience that other world that's just out there... I'm sure you'll have a blast in this beautiful and birdy country!
great vid. I'm always looking for more species explainers. fantastic
