Identifying Costa Rican HUMMINGBIRDS of the North Pacific

Pura Vida und Hallo aus dem Ruhrpott! This was another perfect one, not only for hummingbird lovers. When back in Costa Rica one day, we will surely visit the north again for some nice birding.

Thanks so much! The north has some surprises, a couple of months ago we went to Rincon de la Vieja and saw both lesser ground cuckoo and a sunbittern (!) on the same walk, while the birders we met turned around and were even luckier with a sighting of a rufous-vented ground cuckoo (the „ghost of the rainforest“). To be honest though, rainy season can be tough 😅

Danke für die Mühe, so eine Bestimmungshilfe für Kolibris zu geben. Das war bestimmt viel Arbeit. Ich habe noch einige unbestimmte Kolibrifotos von meiner letzten Costa Rica Reise. Mal sehen, ob was Spannendes dabei ist 😊😊😊
