Money trees are slow growing trees. Money trees are from Central America, not China. I love them. I planted two in my yard. You don't have to lie about them.

Ty these 2 don’t know what they are talking about! 😂 I have three of my own ,all on a table by my window ,east window they are very healthy and I don’t use no plant food! They get morning sun and shade by noon ! I water them once a month! I also have two poneytail tail palms in the window that are doing great! Also they get watered once a month and purple clovers which I have to water once a week!

This is the 1st time and 1st video stating it is a "low light" tree AND water once a month, buying a very young money tree now for 2 to 3 weeks it gets morning to early after noon light from the east, also with moisture meters it lets me know when the roots are no longer moist. I have cut back some of the leafs, i am more curious how to continue to keep the braid going. I have it now in a 8 inch diameter by 7 inches deep as the pot goes to the diameter decreases. After 1 week after cutting back leaves to go for a rounder top shape i see many more leaves have appeared, i will look into various food for the 5 diffrent bonsai trees i have purchased, much more diffrent than my 4 orchids and the 2 green basic house plants that do say direct or indirect light, i have noticed all my plants do much better with the 4 to 5 hours they receive, any tips on braiding i want to learn. I have braided 2 soft pine trees still young and small very easy to braid those, thank you the video was informative.

I don't like their last comment on encouraging people to rubbing the tree for fortune. People should enjoy the tree simply. You don't need superstition that is misleading people for giving them fake hope which is waste of time.

The only reason why I have a money tree is because I like plants including trees, especially I like indoor trees. That why I like my money tree, I do not care about the “fortune” superstition.

This plant does bring prosperity. You can call it superstitious but it is what it is.

That's a very good rebuke for them ...we people should only rely our trust hope believe faith in our GOD alone ...In Prov.3:5-6 says Trust the LORD with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding in all our ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct our path.
Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD,"HE IS our Refuge and our fortress, our GOD, in whom we will Trust.

I rescued a money tree and replanted it from our city brush pile today. I think it's broken though,as it only grows $1 dollar bills. How can I get it to grow $20's and $50's?

Buy some plant twist ties at the dollarama and do it yourself. If you know how to braid that is what you do with the plant out of the soil or in the soil. But if you want the base tight with no gaps then do it out of the pot then plant. Why pay extra. You can do it to most any plant that will be barky or stalky. The growth hormones are added to the plant food. That is the only way they can grow that fast, but they also pick a fast growing plant to advertise it. Many video's how to braid a plant. Far easier then bonzai.

Not true about low light. They prefer indirect bright light to grow quickly, like many plants.

I don't believed in fengshui i believed in GOD the creator of Heaven and Earth..we are HIS stewards...Apostle Paul said the one who plants and the one who watered the plants is not important it is the LORD only the important...So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only GOD,who makes things grow 1 Corinthians 3:7

Maria Lliguisupa the reason why the money tree leaves turn yellow is because it gets too much sunlight
