Mad props for unequipping Artorias' armor first thing you did in the Sif fight. It is clear you take this game and its characters seriously, and want to do them justice.
Princess Dusk is gone. Her questline ends with the death of Manus. The reason you kept respawning at the Anor Londo bonfire instead of the Darkmoon Tomb, is because destroying Gwynevere's Illusion is considered a sin and Gwyndolin punishes you by making you run through the entire area to get to him. Things you missed: - The cat you followed to Sif in the DLC is a covenant giving NPC called Alvina. She is located in the present Darkroot Garden, in the small collapsed building, past the door you opened with the Crest of Artorias. She's sitting on a window on your left. You missed her because you didn't look around in that little building. - If you were human during your fight with Manus you could've summoned Sif to help you. - In the Catacombs, when you dropped down to the skeleton smith, you skipped like half the zone. So you missed a ring that would allow you to reach Gwyndolin without destroying the Gwynevere's illusion... and the best dex weapon in the game. - There's a little corridor next to the door that you opened with the Crest of Artorias. Tip: Not all big trees are actually trees. - There's a chest next to the giant smith in Anor Londo that you can get WITHOUT killing him. ;) Lore: Artorias is actually left handed. After getting his left arm (sword arm) crushed by Manus he left his shield to protect Sif from the dark ghosts (which are actually Humanity) and he started wielding his sword with his right arm. So you fight him when he's all jacked up, without his shield, and without his good arm.... and he's still kicking your ass. In a cut dialogue, Artorias asks you to stay away from him when you enter his arena, because he'll soon succumb to the abyssal corruption and go mad. The 4 knights of Gwyn are: - Knight Artorias the Abysswalker - Hawkeye Gough - Dragonslayer Ornstein - Lord's Blade Ciaran (the woman kneeling before Artorias' grave). The Hornet Ring you picked during the Sif fight, is hers. Executioner Smough wasn't allowed to become a knight of Gwyn because he was a cannibal and he liked executing people a bit too much. The big tomb you found after killing Gwyndolin, is Gwyn's tomb. That's why he chastises you for trying to "trample upon the tomb the Great Lord".
@@Wuggernaut The is some additional dialogue with Dusk if you summon here near the Hydra again. Also, do you think the Hydra's lair was present in Oolacile? All the boss souls that say "create a weapon" - surely some blacksmith, with ancient knowledge of forging the legendary armaments of the gods themselves, can help transform these great souls to their final form... And yes, double Sanctuary Guardian is a troll/challenge. It is possible that it was the original intended first boss of the DLC. But Miyazaki had a fleeting moment of mercy.
Great part once again! :) Just a few things as always: Talking to Dusk - the Summon sign in "your" timeline. There is no way to talk to her in the DLC (even tho I would say it is logical that there would be something and I think it would have been better!) There is a chest next to the Giant Blacksmith. There is another Boss in Darkroot Garden. From the Bonfire behind the Illusory Wall just go straight forward and not through the door to the Grave of Artorias. On that note, the cat is actually in that area, you walked past her. She is in the first building you encountered in that area. She also offers you a covenant, which lets you talk to another NPC in that area. As a tip - her dialogue can be very confusing, so if you mess up, the person after the Gargoyles (The Pardoner) can fix this. Dark Sun Gwyndolin is the youngest child of Lord Gwyn. And as you said, they created the whole illusion of Anor Londo. Gwynewere is the second child and she left Anor Londo long ago, but her illusion was still there. And the first born is not in Dark Souls 1. There have been speculations that he might have been in DS1, there are two characters which were associated with him for the longest time, but another game of the series made clear that the first born is not in DS1. If you want to look up Lore later, I suggest you do not do that on Lord Gwyns firstborn, since it might spoil you for a later title of the series. The mushroom is indeed talking about the man with the mask, Marvellous Chester. He actually invades you, if you go to the area after Artorias in human form and Manus is still alive. And after defeating him, he is pretty grumpy towards you, which is kinda funny. Just as a tip for more Lore - before you fight the final boss, in theory you can kill all NPCs which are still around. Most of them drop things (e.g. Chester drops his Outfit, which looks really cool and every Blacksmith drops a unique Hammer) and obviously all of them come with descriptions. But this is obviously up to you if you want to go on an NPC Killing Spree, some do it to get everything, some just dont want to hurt the NPCs. Just as a note :) And as another note - if you finished DS1, I will recommend you a series of a TH-camr which dives into the mechanics of DS1. Because the Devs were VERY creative with some things.
Sending hugs for Sif battle. The reason he sniffed you is because you are the one who freed him in DLC, that also unlocked him for Manus battle. And the reason Sif fought you is because he didn't want you to have the ring and go into the abyss, fearing you would suffer the same fate as Arthorias. Kind of tragic really. To kill you to save you from a fate worse than death. Also you should go where you fought first Hydra in human form and summon princess Dusk and talk to her.
Great Episode, congratz on beating the DLC! You actually can speak with Princess Dusk again, you can summon her in the present at the lake where you fought the first Hydra, remember? Also, there is one other character from Oolacile in Dark Root Garden, she’s in one of the little stone buildings on the way to Sif. And great that you now completed Anor Londo, most players don’t ever realize that Gwyndolin exists let alone fight him. You now found the Blacksmith in Anor Londo but didn’t even look what he sold or what he can make 🤣. He is the Blacksmith that can create Boss weapons, if you have the right weapon and Boss Soul for him. Oh, and Sif is a female name so there is a high chance that Sif is not a good boy but a good girl. Good Luck in New Londo! On my first Playthrough I breezed trough New Londo, on my second I had several mental Breakdowns.😅
I stopped playing DS1 for like a month because I just couldn't crack Artorias but I just wanted to say that the last episode where you started the DLC got me hyped up to finish it myself and I did! So thanks for helping to push me through my first DS1 play through - I can't wait to see how you get on with the rest of the game!
Lorewise Silver Tracer is meant to be use in the right hand and gold tracer in the left! Try equipping Gold tracer in the left hand! There will be cool special moveset that are much more fun than the generic right hand move!
@1:41:36 I believe the Sanctuary Guardian attacks do lightning damage, not magic damage. The Crystal Shield and the Eagle shield do better with lightning damage.
@@FurtiveSkeptical The Effigy Shield has the best lightning defense in the game, but also requires an investment in the Faith attribute to meet the stat requirements to equip it.
@@Lardzor Fair enough, I didn't see you taking Wugg's build into account at the time, I mentioned it because it is the best lightning defense in the game.
That's why the community dubbed the Prepare to Die Edition,.wich came with the full game plus DLC, as Prepare to Cry Edition lol Removing the Artorias armor when fighting Sif was very honorable! Things like these make this series really shine in comparison to others! Great job as always dude! Peaise rhe Sun \ [T] /
New Londo and the Sif fight after the dlc is perfect it gives you more insight into what artorias and gwyn as a whole was trying to suppress, the dark and humanity from its rightful throne
1:23:08 For me, this is the greatest moment in Dark Souls for its symbolic significance. Remember the awe-inspiring moment of seeing Anor Londo for the first time? After trudging through Undead Burg and slogging through the putrid Depths and wading through the poison swamp of Blighttown and braving the challenges of Senn's Fortress you finally make it to the "shining city on the hill." Anor Londo is literally the city built from the "flames" of the previous generations, the city of hope, meaning, and purpose. You then fight your way through Anor Londo, taking on the toughest (up until then) boss fight of O&S, and you're finally greeted with the warm embrace of Gwynevere... but it's all an illusion. In a way, Dark Souls isn't REALLY about the "lore" of the story and characters... it's an allegory for the struggles we all face in life to "kindle" our own "flames" of hope, meaning, and purpose. I think many of us have been through moments where we started to question what we THOUGHT was our meaning and purpose only to find it was illusive as well. I don't think any video game has ever captured that despairing disillusionment quite like Dark Souls does. Seeing Anor Londo go dark isn't quite "killing Sif" in terms of sadness, but it's deeply depressing in its own subtle way. The actual ending of Dark Souls presents you with an unspoken choice, and while I won't give it away I will say it wraps up this thematic thread nicely and I might say more when you finish the game. There's a great YT video called The Most Profound Moment in Gaming History on the final codec call in Metal Gear Solid 2... I won't dispute the profundity of that moment, but this one in Dark Souls certainly deserves a mention as well. And like so much in the game it's totally left up to the player to discover on their own. Even THAT is such a bold artistic choice because, just like in life, so many people will go along with the various social illusions never questioning them. It's only the curious and skeptical that will say "hey, this doesn't make sense," and start to poke holes in them. I just think this moment doesn't get enough credit for how brilliant it is.
1:14:41 That's actually a hint for an early game soul farming spot. If you aggro all of the forest hunters and run to that spot they'll follow you, run up those nearby stairs, and try to jump on you... except instead of landing on you they go right over the edge to their death. You can farm thousands of souls per minute doing that. You ran past the cat (Alvina) that leads you to Sif in The Abyss. She's in that little stone building you ran into right past the forest hunters.
Treat the silver pendant as a "timed parry" for dark magic only. It isn't a defense buff and yes you should have it in your item belt. Works against the dark magic the sorcerers cast at you in oolacile townas well. Fun ride. Yes the Sif/Artorias story is heartbending at the very least. Thanks for letting us accompany you on the journey. \ó/ (praise the sun)
Wuggs Congratulations for another epic Ds video. Yes it is sad that you killed puppy Sif but did not mean no harm. You are definetly one episode away from ending DS 1 and it feels so strange like we do not want this to end at all. However the next souls games will also be amazing and full of adventures and we cant wait for your playthrough of the next DS games And hint for the next episode: 😉
59:23 You missed the Cat on the wall in the window. (right in the center of the frame) It was she who directed you to Sif. Join the covenant and look around. You can talk to Princess Dusk near the Hydra Lake. like before you went to DLC. In the depths of the catacombs there is a ring "Darkmoon Seance Ring" putting on this ring also opens this 1:30:17 passage *(without killing Guinevere) In that case, you will not be hostile to Gwyndolin, and you will be able to talk to him on this rug 1:30:52. And join him (Blades of the Darkmoon Covenant) in exterminating the sinners. Sin is received by any player who invades another player's world as a red phantom, with the goal of killing the owner and taking his humanity. Also, any player who attacked a peaceful NPC, or Gwynevere. For killing Priscilla, you also become a sinner. Sinners are invaded from the Blades of the Darkmoon Covenant of Gwyndolin. There is no special designation that you have sin. This is a hidden status expressed in a number - you can find it out by buying the Book of Sinners from Oswald of Karim, the indulgence seller who stands in the bell tower (Bell. Gargoyles). You can also ask him to forgive your sins completely, for a decent amount of souls. The price depends on the amount of sin. And the Book of Sinners is essentially a List of PVP leaders) 1:00:16 These guys are guarding the chest! 1:11:43 Don't forget about the stairs on the right.
Sif is a she. Named after the Goddess in Norse Mythology. Wife of Thor. Thor also had a giant wolf for a brother. Many women in Scandinavia is named Sif.
Another great episode! You handled manus like a boss he is no joke, btw I think you're missing some areas of darkroot garden, worth exploring for sure next one, thanks again for the great content!
man seeing you do the Sif fight actually made me cry I am not joking, lol but it was all meant for the ring which you will find out was necessary for the next episode for sure, cant wait for the next one man
That warp strategy is good but also risky, because not all bonfires can be warped to. Notice you can't warp into the undead burg, Blighttown, and some of the demon ruin bonfires.
1:39:22 the anor londo fire keeper uses a similar miracle, darkmoon blade, that you can get from Gwyndolin's covenant. It adds magic damage and gives it a purple glow, whereas sunlight blade adds lightning damage and gives it a golden glow.
Excellent as always. Glad you went and found the giant blacksmith in Anor Londo, but doing that and darkroot after DLC is very interesting to see for your first playthrough as most people don't do it that way, and it gives you some cool perspectives on the history of that place. As you saw, you were very overleveled for poor wolfy Sif. I've seen lots of comments telling you what you missed already, but i'll tell you, i never found the other darkroot boss my first playthrough either. Place is a maze! Look forward to seeing the next ep!
Gwyndolin wasn't actually the one who was erased from annals of history since he's the last son of Gwyn It was Gwyn's firstborn which is kind of an enigma and is entirely different character The reason Gwyndolin conjured an illusion relates to your journey as a whole but in order to understand it fully you lack one more piece of a puzzle which you sadly can't get if you give Lordvessel to Frampt right away Also try visiting Hydra lake again you might have missed something! And Domnal may have some more goodies in store! Loving your playthrough
The secret Sif cutscene! Great episode as usual Mr. Wuggs! You dealt with Manus wayy too easily, you are definitely a pro gamer. Fun fact: Sif is the NPC summon for the Manus fight! I struggled a lot with Manus in my first playthrough, and Sif was a great help! (He? she?) They don't do much damage, but are really tanky and can draw aggro from Manus to help get windows to heal. In many ways, having fought Sif first helped with the pain, because my journey with Sif ended on a high note with defeating Manus together. I felt really bad for not getting the secret cutscene, but it reduced the amount of crying I did. \[T]/
Such a good episode. I am so glad that you took the armor of when figthing Sif. Also that cutscene is different if you fight her first, before meeting her in the DLC. Her recognizing you was because of the particular order that you did the things in. The Message on the ground in the darkmoon tomb that read "Tears" may be a reference to a later Dark Souls part. We don't know for sure what the author of that message had in his mind, but it would make sense to be a reference in that particular place. Well done on the Manus fight. I didn't figure that pendant out on my first playthrough.
Congrats on seeing that uber-rare Sif cut scene! 99%+ players defeat Sif long before they defeat Artorias, so they get a completely different cutscene where Sif just grabs the sword and prepares to attack. As for why Sif still attacks when she "recognizes you", it's basically her duty to protect the grave of Artorias (and the ring that allows others to "traverse the abyss"). Still heartbreaking... but imagine all the people who kill Sif first without knowing any of this! The dual Sanctuary Guardians is just a bonus challenge for anyone who wants to try it. Totally optional.
He also did not read the item description for Hornet ring. It was Ciaran's ring, the blade of the lord. That's the chick who you gave the soul of Artorius to, and in return she gave you the gold and dark silver tracer weapons. She created a small shrine for Artorius in Oolacile, right where we defeated Artorius, and later you found Hornet ring on a body behind Artorius' grave, in Sif's arena. So she most probably died where Artorius was buried- and she was also one of the four Knights of Gwyn. Mayhaps lady harbored hots for our boy Artorius.
YES! YES! SHE DOES REMEMBER YOU, you fool T_T (damn, i'm crying again) But she doesn't want to lose you to the abyss like she lost Artorias, so she tries to stop you, even if that mean defeating you (all this narative made even powerful by you being dressed like him - quality role-play right there). (btw, that Sif recognising you is a special cinematic you can see only if you free her in dlc first, so keep in mind there's a Sif encounter BASIC cinematic out there)
The reason why you need to kill Sif is because he has no choice but to fight you. His master succumbed to the Abyss, and he swore never to let anyone else be engulfed by it. He protects the Covenant of Artorias and has to kill anyone who attempts to retrieve to traverse the Abyss. He thinks he is protecting you by fighting you, which makes the whole fight a whole lot sadder 😢
When I said pain was behind the Titanite Demon in lost Izalith -- whats behind the crest of Artoreas is so much worse. And just when you thought the DLC was painful -- oh Miyazaki you absolute savage.
1:42:30 1- You forgot to read the sunlight blade miracle(tasty lore) and the firekeeper soul(Which as you already know by now, it's not your standard "lost" firekeeper). 2- Lightning, as well as fire is a different element than "magic", so keep that in mind while choosing your gear. 3- Let go off the dex, you most certainly already reached the softcap. 1:44:05 Yes... 1:48:00 Funfact, his outfit is so out of place in dark souls that when bloodborne was released everybody got to see those different, much more "modern" clothing we got crazy thinking the chester was from bloodborne universe. I don't think it will ever be confirmed, I think it was even denied, but a cool fact nonetheless.
This was the fight I was most worried about when you got to it. This is the hardest fight in the game I think. Not because he's hard, but the attachment to hin
Another awesome episode again. That last Manus fight almost gave me a heart attack😂 But dude, I can't believe you still haven't bought the Armor Smith box from Andre... Some armor in its upgraded form gives you SO MUCH more defense and resistances 😉
The Giant blacksmith has a chest near him you can approach it from a good angle. He can modify+10 weapons into their boss version using the soul. Dex has 3 good boss weapons Imo. Two of them are only good if you carry 10 humanity in upper left corner. Chaos blade katana with max ugrades and 10 humanity 30 more AR(450) than +15 40dex uchi but 20 self dmg per hit.Any katana+10 and spider lady soul. Spider lady fury sword.Mostly deals fire dmg and nice fashion.Any curved sword+10 and spider lady soul. And Still Alive Pricisla's lifehunt sychte which is best paired with the bloodbite ring. Made from any sychte+10 and causes strong bleed build up.
Wuggs final form just dropped, that Artorias drip is sick. you've come a long way from the smelly sac on your head! the dual Sanctuary Guardians is a second chance to cut off the Scorpion Tail, but its kind of a crummy whip weapon so you're not missing much.
SIIIIIIFFF 😢😢😢 Also go back to the forest through the crest gate in dark root and up at the back where there is that small building and a small bridge. There may be a feline NPC you walked past. 😅
What an episode dude. This could easily be 3 parts in terms of the amount of content (you rushed through darkroot a bit, but you just kept going afterwards) Theres one optional boss left there, but its already weak when you fight him as the second or third boss in the game as intended so dont expect too much
Gwyndolin is the youngest son of Gwyn. He is a master of illusion's and have made Anor Londo bade in an illusion of sun light. There is also an illusion of his sister to guide you on the path to linking the flame. This is done so that they can save themself and hide how little time there is left.
A heartfelt episode my friend. Brother, you have to know by now, Dark Souls actively trolls and/or tries to kill the player, for no other reason than "despair ahead" - it's a game mechanic :D and I almost cried 61,800 tears for you. Great job on Manus & DSG (we don't need to talk about the other boss). The painted guards protect the painted world btw......
Couple things, you should have cut the tail off a sanctuary guardian, the anor londo giant smith is the only smith capable of infusing lightning, crystal and god soul weapons. Don't sleep on the giant smith, he's a huge part of the game. He sells some unique shop supplies too. Try the gold tracer in left hand for special moveset, it's original owner wielded gold tracer left hand and silver in the right hand. Silver tracer heavy attack applies toxic. Garden of darkroot past artoria seal had 2 more special enemies and a hidden covenant. The mystery cat from the abyss is also an interactive entity there. If you go human there, you'd have been invaded by pvp defenders incessantly. Thanks for the ride. \ó/
Great episode! Getting the cutscene where Sif recognizes you is epic. That fight gets me every time. Not gonna lie here, tears were shed (I'm such a softie).
No matter how many times I see it it always brings me to tears when I see that intro video of Sif after completing the DLC. Where your next journey goes in completing the Lord vessel there is no light metaphorically speaking. Be brave chosen undead, may you not be hollow for too long and never stop chasing that incandescent brilliant sun. Soon you will have the power to rival even the strongest of Lords, but what will you sacrifice to get it?
First thing first good job with the bosses you did an amazing job in the DLC🎉. Second of all about the funny Dogo we'll just say this because I don't know how much I'm allowed to say but let's just say it true is very sad how they did it but the lore application of it when you get the chance you appreciate the Dogo even more and it will make sense why that happened. Ps: the evil of Miyazaki will continue to troll us to no end 😂 😅
What is surprising is that, while the forest in the DLC is indeed the Darkroot area in the past, FromSoft has a very good attention to detail that the trees you walked past in the DLC and the one in Darkroot is not the same model. The trees in the present Darkroot has noticeably slightly bigger trunk and deeper shade of green coloration, meaning yes, the trees depicted in Darkroot is indeed growing since the time of Oolacile's fall to abyss
Sif was guarding her master's grave, and had the ring but wants to prevent anyone else from going to the abyss and possibly becoming corrupted. (I take Sif to be female because Thor's wife had the same name, though to be fair Gwyndolin has a female name while being male, so Sif could be a boy.) That was not the same cat but might be one of her kittens -- you can talk to the cat you followed on your way to Sif's arena but you didn't notice her (she is definitely female).
Someone’s probably already said this but just in case, before the dlc came out Sif’s cutscene was different, nowadays if you fight him without having done the dlc you get the original cutscene in which he doesn’t recognize you Seeing as the dlc is canon, theoretically he should always recognize you but 🤷♂️, it’s a good detail regardless, especially considering most players won't do the dlc until far after Sif's fight due to its difficulty (props on you for getting through it, manus is hard as hell.)
I get to watch an episode the day it comes out finally! I started my first Dark Souls playthrough about the same time you did, and had been just behind you since Laurel & Hardy (but I did New Londo right after getting the Lordvessel). It's been a lot of fun watching how someone else approaches the same areas sometimes so differently. Really enjoying your playthrough so far!
Solid video and good progress. I'm sure you've realized by now that the viewers directed you to the DLC before darkroot for the extra interaction with Sif, which is painful with all the understanding of the Artorias lore. In other words, your viewers wanted to cause you pain.... I'm kidding of course, but seriously.... You're in the final stretch now, my guy. It's entirely possible that the next episode could be the last depending on how well you get through new londo. My personal favorite is DS2, but I have to admit that DS1 is the most impactful first playthrough in the series. It's something you remember. Good job as always, and looking forward to next one.
The roller coaster of emotions going up and down in Dark Souls is amazing to watch...You can go from extremely annoyed to completely happy in one minute! lol
" Can we do anything " I'm so sorry this game is so beautiful but there is nothing happy about it it's so sad That's why that video i told you about was named prepare to cry
Well if you and your family were the gods of this world, and were worshiped, but suddenly everything started going wrong and most of your family had left you’d probably want to keep up the illusion that the gods were still happy and in charge too wouldn’t you? To protect your mantle as a ruler
Mad props for unequipping Artorias' armor first thing you did in the Sif fight. It is clear you take this game and its characters seriously, and want to do them justice.
Thank you for saying that 🙏

I couldn’t believe they would do this.
I think I was 5 or 6 playthroughs in before I accidentally discovered that little surprise lol
I found that on my most recent playthrough lol
Does it go up to 3?
1:31:54 To clarify, Gwyndolyn was not erased from the annals, Gwyn's first borne was...
The giant blacksmith can forge boss weapons from the boss souls you have.
You can actually Summon Sif in the Manus fight if you released her from the barrier. There's a summon sign in the arena if you're not hollow.
@@JonPumpkinHead hell yeah dude!! We’ll done, that is honestly awesome to hear
Congrats! Artorias is far and away my favorite fight in DS1 (Manus is a close second though)
Lorewise Silver Tracer is meant to be use in the right hand and gold tracer in the left! Try equipping Gold tracer in the left hand! There will be cool special moveset that are much more fun than the generic right hand move!
1:43:15 that combo was crazy!!!
@1:41:36 I believe the Sanctuary Guardian attacks do lightning damage, not magic damage. The Crystal Shield and the Eagle shield do better with lightning damage.
The effigy shield from the Tomb of the Giants also has a high lightning resistance.👍
That's why the community dubbed the Prepare to Die Edition,.wich came with the full game plus DLC, as Prepare to Cry Edition lol
Removing the Artorias armor when fighting Sif was very honorable! Things like these make this series really shine in comparison to others! Great job as always dude!

I seriously appreciate that 🙏🙏 I love getting invested in these games
New Londo and the Sif fight after the dlc is perfect it gives you more insight into what artorias and gwyn as a whole was trying to suppress, the dark and humanity from its rightful throne
This DLC was so good it's shocking, and established From Software as the DLC goat
I absolutely loved it 💯
1:23:08 For me, this is the greatest moment in Dark Souls for its symbolic significance.
Damn this is an IMPRESSIVE insight into this, thank you for sharing 🙏🙏
@@Wuggernaut Thanks, and you're welcome! I'd like to put all of my thoughts/analysis of this game into a (probably very long) video essay some day.
@jonathanhenderson9422 please send that to me when you do!
The Sif battle breaks us all
Anor Londo indeed existed in Oolacile times. Remember Gough telling you that "even mighty Anor Londo" dared not to provoke Kalameet's ire?
1:14:41 That's actually a hint for an early game soul farming spot. If you aggro all of the forest hunters and run to that spot they'll follow you, run up those nearby stairs, and try to jump on you... except instead of landing on you they go right over the edge to their death. You can farm thousands of souls per minute doing that.
You ran past the cat (Alvina) that leads you to Sif in The Abyss. She's in that little stone building you ran into right past the forest hunters.
Hello! There is still another boss to find inside the Darkroot Garden and you are very overleveled for this one actually.
However the next souls games will also be amazing and full of adventures and we cant wait for your playthrough of the next DS games
And hint for the next episode: 😉
I can’t believe ds1 is almost over it’s kind of emotional 😮💨
@@Wuggernaut it is but the cycle continues
you’re going to love new londo
Can’t wait
5:50 classic dark bead 🤣
I screamed when you ran straight past Alvina🥲
😅😅
1:42:03 Lightning and magic are actually 2 separate damage types
🙏🙏
59:23 You missed the Cat on the wall in the window. (right in the center of the frame)
It was she who directed you to Sif. Join the covenant and look around.
You can talk to Princess Dusk near the Hydra Lake. like before you went to DLC.
In the depths of the catacombs there is a ring "Darkmoon Seance Ring"
putting on this ring also opens this 1:30:17 passage *(without killing Guinevere)
In that case, you will not be hostile to Gwyndolin, and you will be able to talk to him on this rug 1:30:52.
And the Book of Sinners is essentially a List of PVP leaders)
1:00:16 These guys are guarding the chest!
1:11:43 Don't forget about the stairs on the right.
😮😮😮
I’ll keep this in mind thank you!
Gwyndolin wasn't actually the one who was erased from annals of history since he's the last son of Gwyn
It was Gwyn's firstborn which is kind of an enigma and is entirely different character
The reason Gwyndolin conjured an illusion relates to your journey as a whole but in order to understand it fully you lack one more piece of a puzzle which you sadly can't get if you give Lordvessel to Frampt right away
Also try visiting Hydra lake again you might have missed something!
And Domnal may have some more goodies in store!
Loving your playthrough
Thank you so much! And thank you for the info too 🙏
The secret Sif cutscene!
Sif had no choice, duty-bound. You had a choice. You could have just gone hollow.
So much sadder
1:02:55 he try to stop us, He doesn't want the same thing to happen to us as to Artorias.
1:08:39 Nope, you missed an NPC in Dark Root (a pretty important one for lore too, worth taking a second look 🙂)
This was the fight I was most worried about when you got to it. This is the hardest fight in the game I think. Not because he's hard, but the attachment to hin
Another awesome episode again. That last Manus fight almost gave me a heart attack😂
But dude, I can't believe you still haven't bought the Armor Smith box from Andre...
Fighting Sif after the DLC is a real heartbreaker. Definitely pulls at the heartstrings.
SIIIIIIFFF 😢😢😢
Also go back to the forest through the crest gate in dark root and up at the back where there is that small building and a small bridge. There may be a feline NPC you walked past. 😅
😮
What an episode dude. This could easily be 3 parts in terms of the amount of content (you rushed through darkroot a bit, but you just kept going afterwards)
Theres one optional boss left there, but its already weak when you fight him as the second or third boss in the game as intended so dont expect too much
1:43:04 nice warm up for DS2 hahahaha
Ahhhh! So Priscilla is real at least
@@Wuggernaut she is.... her story is as tragic as the rest

Nice job with Manus! If you go back to Darkroot Garden where you fought the hydra, you can summon Dusk again and she’ll give you new dialogue.
Great episode! Getting the cutscene where Sif recognizes you is epic. That fight gets me every time. Not gonna lie here, tears were shed (I'm such a softie).
Another great episode! I’m getting sad knowing this series is ending soon 😢
32:45 Didn't know Artorias skipped leg day 😭😭
💀 every single one
it's great that you got to endure the pain of siff complete with bonus from doing dlc first, hardest dog to put down in gaming history.
Facts.
Three piece and a biscuit!
Wuggs! Remember that you will forget!
😵💫
No matter how many times I see it it always brings me to tears when I see that intro video of Sif after completing the DLC. Where your next journey goes in completing the Lord vessel there is no light metaphorically speaking. Be brave chosen undead, may you not be hollow for too long and never stop chasing that incandescent brilliant sun. Soon you will have the power to rival even the strongest of Lords, but what will you sacrifice to get it?
👀👀
I really enjoy your videos, finished the game a few weeks ago and glad to see your almost there!
Thank you dude :) you going into dark souls 2 as well? 👀
1:02:30 - I'm crying
Anybody else get stressed every time Wuggs doesn’t go straight for his dropped souls? Stress levels are even worse when it’s a hefty amount.
(I take Sif to be female because Thor's wife had the same name, though to be fair Gwyndolin has a female name while being male, so Sif could be a boy.)
That was not the same cat but might be one of her kittens -- you can talk to the cat you followed on your way to Sif's arena but you didn't notice her (she is definitely female).
Someone’s probably already said this but just in case, before the dlc came out Sif’s cutscene was different, nowadays if you fight him without having done the dlc you get the original cutscene in which he doesn’t recognize you
Seeing as the dlc is canon, theoretically he should always recognize you but 🤷♂️, it’s a good detail regardless, especially considering most players won't do the dlc until far after Sif's fight due to its difficulty (props on you for getting through it, manus is hard as hell.)
50:10 training for dark souls 2
Oh dear god…
"Tears?" hit different.
I think you didn't read Hornet Ring and Sunlight Blade (spell).
Mr.Miyazaki is smiling looking at your reaction of defeating Sif.
Thank you dude!
RIP to our good boy
The double guardian fight just gives you two more chances to get the tail weapon 😅
It's a bit sad that Sif must die to complete the game.
That Zoolander reference 😂😂
Hahah my man!!
37:21 That's what he said.
keep these coming dude they always ate crack me up
19:24 oh,i will hear YOUR upset howl pretty soon.
49:46 cue Sanford and Son intro:
I just wanted to say ive been loving your playthrough of DS1 and can't wait to see you play my favorite souls game DS3 in the future.
Thank you so much dude :) I’m excited to play it too I hear it polished everything about the series!
59:25 Eyes to the left... No? Oh well, your loss. 😉
This run keeps being magic… The secret Sif cutscene… 😭
26:15 i sense some foreshadowing 😮
The cruelest thing is that Sif is the only boss you need to kill 3 times to get the platinum.
That’s just evil.
The roller coaster of emotions going up and down in Dark Souls is amazing to watch...You can go from extremely annoyed to completely happy in one minute! lol
So true 🤣 probably one of the reasons I love it so much
" Can we do anything " I'm so sorry this game is so beautiful but there is nothing happy about it it's so sad
That's why that video i told you about was named prepare to cry
Saving Siff only to kill him later, DS sure is brutal. Mah heart!
Gj with Manus! Was the most annoying boss for me personally.
Incredibly rare for someone to conquer Oolacile before visiting Dark Root Garden
Well if you and your family were the gods of this world, and were worshiped, but suddenly everything started going wrong and most of your family had left you’d probably want to keep up the illusion that the gods were still happy and in charge too wouldn’t you? To protect your mantle as a ruler
Awesome episode as usual! Got a few man tears for the Sif fight... :(
Would revisit the blacksmith in Anor Londo, check out what he has to offer ;)
