I have a question. How do you justify eating plants and vegetables when they too are scientifically seen as a living creature? Do you say, “they’re a lower life form, they don’t feel”? Plants don't have a central nervous system, so they don't actually have the ability to feel pain like we do. I still think plants and other forms of nature should be respected, but who and what we consume comes down to they pain they feel and whether it's right to kill them unnecessarily for our taste, when in classic modern society it is unnecessary. I myself would consider myself less well off money wise, however I feed myself just fine on plant based foods. These videos speak to me on a spiritual level. Since I was born, I've questioned why we do things. I question the school system because I feel like I'm trapped there. I question our political system because I look at our past and see nothing has changed. I question our government because I feel it doesn't have our best interests at heart. I feel like I have to help change the world, but I'm too young to be taken seriously. I tell everyone I come across that our world needs changing. All I get in response is sarcasm and denial. I fail to understand why others, especially adults can't see the errors of their ways, but then I remember that it's not their fault. It's those in power. They control the media. They brainwash the public. Luckily, I'm resistant to those commercials and headline making news stories. I see past the curtain of lies and I know, in all of my being, that it's now or never. I remember when I was younger, the elders in my Native American community would always tell me how, when we killed it was almost always for food, and we used every part of the being whose life we stole. But now, watching this video, makes me wonder when everything changed for us. Why did two different cultures have to clash and colide, causing so much terror and pain and death for others. It seems as if people don't know how to recycle anymore, when it was once something we used to care so much about. Seeing this makes me ashamed to be a human being. It makes me ashamed to even call myself that, when I used to think we were all equal. When there was no race, no gender, no species. My elders had raised me to think of everything as equal and to treat it with respect. And now, I just feel ashamed of how far along the line I had let myself go.

I question our political system because I look at our past and see nothing has changed. I question our government because I feel it doesn't have our best interests at heart. I feel like I have to help change the world, but I'm too young to be taken seriously. I tell everyone I come across that our world needs changing. All I get in response is sarcasm and denial. I fail to understand why others, especially adults can't see the errors of their ways, but then I remember that it's not their fault. It's those in power. They control the media. They brainwash the public. Luckily, I'm resistant to those commercials and headline making news stories. I see past the curtain of lies and I know, in all of my being, that it's now or never. This is the last straw. Time to change the world.

I thought the same when I was your age. Now, 40 or so years later, nothing has changed- at least not for the better. I had to settle for doing what I thought was right, what was morally correct in spite of my "politically correct" family. (That includes religion BTW). So, I am an atheist tree farmer trying to preserve a little bit of nature and her amazing diversity.

If you are against plant agriculture then sure there is plenty of wild plant foods available that others don't use, but again that's not a solution for everyone. Most plants are grown to feed livestock, so if you wan't to minimize plant agriculture then avoiding all animal products is is the logical choice, although it is encouraging to hear you are vegetarian. I remember when I was younger, the elders in my Native American community would always tell me how, when we killed it was almost always for food, and we used every part of the being whose life we stole. But now, watching this video, makes me wonder when everything changed for us. Why did two different cultures have to clash and colide, causing so much terror and pain and death for others. It seems as if people don't know how to recycle anymore, when it was once something we used to care so much about. Seeing this makes me ashamed to be a human being. It makes me ashamed to even call myself that, when I used to think we were all equal. When there was no race, no gender, no species. My elders had raised me to think of everything as equal and to treat it with respect. And now, I just feel ashamed of how far along the line I had let myself go.

HonorBound To me it's just the truth is too hard to handle for a lot of people. Even whatever shown to them kinda make sense to them or rather make total sense, they cannot acknowledge right away. Laughing is the socially "ok" way to handle when this happen. They might already be aware of the info present to them but when money, security, family, future, career etc made them decided to ignore humanity issues. Simply they got their priority mixed up. As you said, laughing is a way to vent out your inner weakness and by doing so, you become stronger, both mentaly and spiritualy. There are much more reasons to laugh at this stuff for certain people. For one, they are so set in in their beliefs and dogmas of this slave world that they will even go so far as to defend the same system that put them in chains. Those people some call "sleepers", unable to wake up do to their own weak will of heart and soul. Second reason is..they think they are above all laws of humanity that binds us, they think they are special so when they hear that every one of us is the same but unique(We are all one) then they try to shrug it off as bullshit lies, fearing that they will lose that " I am me" feeling in this world. watching this video made me realize, that us, humans don't really appreciate what we get, or eat. so many lives of innocent animals are killed everyday to keep us alive. it's funny that when we see others animals, such as predators, eating another animal, we all think that they are horrible "beasts". But we never realize that we do that too. there are too many things that we dont care about, until someone else or something else does it. we've gotten so stupid these days. everyday, random things just pop in my mind, questions, that I never forget, like, "what if colorblind people see the world as it is but we don't" or "do we humans Only care about ourselves, or do we even care about other things, like animals. there are so many things ive wondered. I hope you understand what I am saying.
Lissia Ientz I feel like it's not that we don't realize what we are doing... We just don't know how to fix it. If we don't eat things that live and feel, or things that come from living and feeling things, what do we eat. I guess we can eat unhealthy and pure minerals, but someone would then say we're stealing from Earth. There is an argument against everything humans do.

The true issue with us humans is that we want to find solutions to the problems that we created with the same mindset with which we created those problems. It is this change that will facilitate us to find solutions, and it is asking questions that will facilitate that change in the first place. This video is an excellent example.
