This 2013 Mercedes Benz S550 4Matic is absolutely the fastest 4dr S-Class ever made! Definitely the fastest I've driven! Made in Chicago :-)

Definitely love my 2013. The turbos sound mean even at low speed. Add some Brabus Love and it's a contender. Much more fun to sport regular badging with the extra torque than to scream AMG.. lol.

I swear, Mercedes does know how to make a SUPERB power plant. BMW does too, and Audi.. but if I were to rate these in order in raw grunt and raw torque, its the S550s 4.7L V8 on top, than Audi's 4.0 V8 followed by BMWs 4.4 V8. I found BMWs powertrain to be sluggish, lazier than the S550s when you want over taking power and grunt.

Yeah 2013 received the 4.6L v8 biturbo, it's more powerful
