I was the post production supervisor and vfx dude for the commercial at 08:10, so funny to see it again here. It was actually two spots around the same concept and aesthetic. Took more than a month to put it all together, every pixel was scrutinized to the n-th degree. Tough job, but worth it haha.
These are all great but my all time favorite is the commercial from Australia where the family got hit by a drunk driver and their gold W126 Sedan miraculously save their lives... The camera pans around from the back of the car where you would never even think there was any damage to the front where the entire nose has been wrecked and twisted and yet everyone including the driver survived.

Great commercials. Very sad state of affairs at the company today. In 2024 the ONLY car in their line up that I am interested in buying a Sprinter Van. Everything is either garbage or electric or hybrids weighing 1,000lbs too much. Should the CLE63 retain the V8, I will look at that. Otherwise, the only 2 MBs on my shopping list are a 2014 SLS BS and 2021 GT BS.
