    I thought I was going to have to call you for help.
    Checked all my switches nothing wrong. Then I checked the starter and it would start. Finally after your video on the ground wire broken. I checked my ground.
    No ground on the frame. So I started looking for a wire. No broken wires. Trouble was the main ground cable to the frame.
    Be sure and tell everyone you have to have ground on starter and motor from the main ground off the battery.
    Hope this helps someone else.
    All I did was loosen the main ground cable to the frame and tightened back and it started like a new one.
    Note* I did disable the seat switch. Thanks for your videos.

    Nice video T-Bone! Loved the method for cleaning corroded fuse terminals. As far as the extra choke cable, i did the same addition to my Ariens which has a Briggs Intek engine. I didn’t like the idea of choking and starting my cold engine at full rpm, so i added a separate choke cable so that i can choke and set throttle at 1/3 while starting. BTW, nice camera work by Mrs T. Shout out to her too!

    Does that relay tester tell you if contacts are good, or does it only test the coil? Is the light checking the opening/closing of the contacts? How about dual contacts? 😮 10:17

  • @Rein_Ciarfella
    @Rein_Ciarfella 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Good one, T!
    I sometimes spray electrical contact cleaner in there or use a small torch tip wire to ream them out. I think just running a fuse (or any other type of connector) in and out a few times will do the trick.
    The most important part is to then goop dielectric grease (same as silicone grease) into the female side of the connection before installing the male side. After that the connection is not only protected from corrosion, but also from water intrusion.
