I must have watched this 4 times over.....this was beautiful to see and the General certainly earned the title of Zealot! His VA really embodied how I imagined him in my head. He had perfect movements and grace for his character, this was really well done and Im really honoured. You got it out so quickly too! Great stuff!

Specifically a short about a Elite Councilor and his advisor adjusting to the changes in the Covenant before the events of their deaths in Halo 2. There is more action in that script then the comment story I made in this.

This was absolutely beautiful. Not gonna lie, I thought it was going to be a silly little animation when the grunts appeared at first, but it turned out as a little glimpse of what Halo can also be and how amazing it is. Halo for me has always been a story about perspectives, and it was ironically, with all the killing and stuff, the way I learned from little without knowing how important empathy and understanding was. With as much fun as I had playing the games, I remember asking myself in CE why we were fighting the covenant. I just couldn’t understand the concept of intelligent species fighting for the sake of fighting. And then Halo 2 arrived, and showed me the covenant’s perspective, which made me even more frustrated, to think that the whole time they’ve been killing each other because of religious beliefs, and ultimately, lack of communication. We know now that it was the prophets plan all along so the covenant couldn’t learn the importance of humans, but imagine what could’ve been if they just talked 😂 Then Halo 3 came out and it made me very happy to see at least the elites in the game ally with humanity, put aside their differences and forgive their past conflicts. I would have liked to see grunts too, but that might be difficult to handle, friendly fire and all that 😅

The was great. The animation was really good and the story and dialogue was well made. The only thing I thought was a little off was the fact that the elites should have much deeper voices as they sounde just a tad bit too human here, but other than that it was fantastic.
Hi, thank you for the feedback! :D I used Rtas's voice as a reference since a lot of the Elite's main characters (H2 and H3) have deep smooth human voice but with subtle accent. However, I couldnt find the sweet spot to make the filtered layered voice they had in H2 and H3 to make it more "alien".
@arquitensproduction8001 The filter and the accent were actually really good, it's just that the voices themselves needed to be a little bit deeper and more baritone.
Hello and thanks! It was mostly back and forth process. I did some blockings/storyboarding using step tangents and do pose to pose every few frames each (each 5 frames for example). Then I do some inbetween poses for frame 2, 3, and 4 then 6, 7, 8 and so on. Once its done doing a whole movement, I selected all the keyframes and spline them and do some corrections for the details :)

It was mostly back and forth process. I did some blockings/storyboarding using step tangents and do pose to pose every few frames each (each 5 frames for example).
