  • 👋 In todays video we take a look at the all new 2025 Subaru Forester Limited! This new model has some nice exterior design changes along with interior updates and great technology features to make this a great daily driver! For our time with this Subaru, we put just over 500 miles on it and it was great to drive! The 2025 Subaru Forester is more on the basic side as far as the interior materials go, but for this rugged SUV that will be seeing a lot of adventures, you get materials that can withstand those activities and still give it a good look and feel.
    The driving experience for the 2025 Subaru Forester is nice. It's surprisingly smooth, quiet and handles well. With the three hour trip one way, seats were comfortable and it was great.
    My only major complaint would be the "lack" of power, but Subaru will be introducing a hybrid version which will add more power. It just felt like it couldn't get up and moving, which is important for certain driving situations. But aside from that, there wasn't much of anything we could think of negative towards this vehicle. It's large on the inside for extra cargo, can fit 5 people pretty comfortably and has the ground clearance to take off the pavement and make it to those adventurous trips!

    I own a 2020 Forest limited. The new 2025 didn't change enough to excite me to buy one. I'll just have to wait 5 more years to see their new offerings.

    How does it compare to Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson in terms of ride comfort and cabin quietness?

    This is a good video! One year ago this June I bought a new 2023 Forester Limited. I actually ordered it in early May and had to wait for it to be delivered from Japan in June. It was worth the wait. I have not yet gotten used to the body redesign of the 2025 model, and to me it looks too much like the Ford Explorer. As for the power of the 4 cylinder boxer engine found in the earlier and new models of the Forester, it's good enough. The car is good for driving around town and for highway driving. You do not have to have an active lifestyle to appreciate this car, and you do not need to take it off road to like it. What do these people want who say they wish the Forester has more power? If you want a hot car overpowered car, go buy a Corvette. If you want a safe sensible reliable car then Forester should be among the cars that you consider. It also holds its resale value year after year. The car gets decent gas mileage. The car can be less expensive to insure than some other cars as well because of its safety features. Take all of that into consideration as you evaluate the cost of car ownership. One last note, Forester is almost always on the Consumer Reports list of best cars to own and drive. Take a Forester for a test drive, then decide for yourself.

      My point like I said, was it needed more power to get up and move, like merging and pulling out into traffic. It can be unsafe to think you can pull out into traffic, floor it, and have zero power to get up to the speed limit. So yes, this car needs more power to feel safer..
      Also safety features have zero impact of insurance rates..

      Subaru offered this for years in a turbo model, so even they knew it needed more power. They only discontinued the XT due to poor sales.

    Seriously, if now is not the right time to update that engine and tranny I don't know when is. The rest of the car is ok but only ok.

    Front has to much going on and unresolved. What are those hexagonal indentations doing at the bottom?....the serve no purpose....just plonked on and clash with the fog light indentations. Not a unified design theme. In any case this design already looks outdated picking up design language that the other car makes have introduced years ago.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it looks nice, but yeah some things aren't functional or have an interesting look. But looks much nicer than the previous model, so I wouldn't say it's outdated already.

    Good review bro! Quick question about the navigation system. You mentioned it working even in remote areas where you didn’t have service on your phones. How is that? Is it satellite linked navigation or something? Also, how’s the overall headlight performance at night?

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don’t know that, but it’s the same in any car with built in navigation. They always work even when cells phones don’t. I always buy a car with built in nav for that reason, can always rely on it. Should be a hard drive nav system

    I bought, & still own, my first Subi back in 2011( Outback), & am now waiting for delivery of a 2015 Forester Sport model.
    I've owned a number of makes over the years ( GM, Benz, Honda, Mazda ), and found that my Subi had lasted the longest with the least amount of problems ( rust, parts failing, low quality pieces etc).
    I respect this brand for being one of the few that does not need to constantly re-invent itself in order to sell cars.
