Sin duda alguna, estamos presenciando una de las más grande pianista de este nuevo siglo.
The concertmaster (first violin) Massimo Spadano is clearly having the fun of his life... smiling ear-to-ear almost all the time, his sincere appreciation and admiration for Alexandra is evident, he almost looks like he was her father :0) and was moved nearly to tears at 9:00... I regret for not having been there. At the end of the concert the audience should have been on their feet: this is the highest degree of musicianship for the world to see (and hear). A globalist/technocratic world where arts are not contemplated for being considered "superfluous" is just unworthy.

Es un genio, un ser bajado del CIELO, un DON para humanidad, no hay palabras que puedan expresar el sentimiento que despierta y la energía de grandiosidad que despierta es simplemente un encanto, gracias también al Director y a la Orquesta en general!
Es una de las cosas más hermosas que ví en mis 59 años, no dudo que esa niña, Alexandra Dovgan es la pianista más grande de este siglo XXI, no solo por la seguridad con la que toca, que es realmente alucinante, perfecta en todo sentido, va más allá de toda explicación lógica y racional, esta niña es la reencarnación de una pianista del pasado, que hoy vuelve a tocar. Por supuesto me he quedado maravillado, el acompañamiento de la orquesta es excelente y su director, y muy lograda la filmación de cada detalle del concierto. Mendelsoohn nos deja su legado, una de las cumbres del romanticismo, en manos de una gran intérprete, despierta en nosotros gratos sentimientos, sus dedos vuelan por el teclado, con una sensibilidad exquisita. Un aplauso interminable.
Estoy totalmente de acuerdo, esta niña es única comparada con otros grandes.

She IS the best pianist, EVER! No question! With the most impressive musicality EVER! Not just banging out notes from memory, each note is carefully crafted like an audible sculpture, given a blessing of sweetness, before gliding away from the piano.

I'm definitely no expert, but to me this was perfect in every way. Bravo Alexandra. And I'm pretty if this performance was in Canada everyone would be on their feet at the end.
I had the good fortune to watch Malofev and her when Denis Matsuev kindly brought them out of HK a couple of years ago. I look forward to watching her much more. I have thought it must be so tough to make it a classical music artist in Russia given how deep the talent pool is and how appreciated they one who make it are. She is a phenomenal talent.

I was enraptured by this performance of Alexandra's and I thought the orchestra and conductor were perfect for her. What an occasion! And she teaches us so much about the music she plays.

Oh God,, She is beyond fantasy, in such age..!! If I haven't seen her playing, I would have never imagined she is anything but a great aged experienced fulfilled pianist performing,, This young lady is a phenomenon indeed, haven't seen or heard anything like this before in my life.

I agree that her facial expression displays a maturity beyond her years, but her interpretation and musicality as well! Makes me think of Chloe Chua, a violinist of about the same age. Both give very "adult" renditions of the works they play. Fantastic. Bravo.
@@LouFerl It is funny that just earlier this morning I was commenting to someone that loves classical music that those two (Sasha and Chloe) are two "up and coming" that he should be aware of. I especially equated the humble spirit (so far) in which they both present themselves (and I pray and trust) will continue. I also mentioned how that Sasha not only offers us a performance that opens our eyes to the intent of the composer, but subtly and lovingly has convinced us (the "commenters") that her interpretation "is" (was) the intent of the composer.

It is wonderful to hear them at every opportunity they give us, and exciting to see them evolve. I love it that she goes into her own world with the music, and then takes us there with her. Someone previously posted that her interpretation of the music is what makes her unique, I guess this is an extension of that. The soft touches and shades of other colours in her playing are what I enjoy, and I've ever seen a concert pianist once, and that was only the person rehearsing.
