The cluttered mind really applies to me. My biggest struggle is cleaning the kitchen after dinner. It really nags at me that it isn't done but I still drag it out all night.
Goodness, this is so helpful! Thank you
It truly is so.
So true. I always wake up with my mind going through a to-do list, and loops over and over before I start my day. Only 20 to 30% gets completed within that day.
This is a timely video. I was just thinking about this and taking steps to resolve this
Good post.
Thank you, perfect timing for tonight, I pressed onto what's important!
this shed light on a couple things I do that keep my mind weighed down unnecessarily.
Thank you! ❤
So true
Don't blame me - blame the Zeigarnik effect!
This is even worse when you have obsessive tendencies along with perfectionism. Lol. Learning to manage it better now tho. Two things there tho. Being too driven or compelled/burning out with so much “I have to” or “it has to be just so” or a lot more troubled thoughts or “carrying weight” with procrastination. May be harder for women also Bcuz we tend to notice EVERYTHING. Same for detailed people. I had to learn pacing skills and better prioritizing and def “canceling” some of them (Aka letting go. Rethinking what I need to be “responsible”‘for and what all I was taking on that I didn’t need to). Def that was a boundary issue also.
Soooooo true!!!
