I have the spectra synergy gold and I swear by it. I used it with my second and currently pregnant with my 3rd. Can’t wait to Hook her up again ! It’s a powerhouse of a pump !
I LOVE my motif Luna (the new one after they changed it) always worked well for me. I have a love hate with the elvie. Most days I want to throw it out the window. But the convenience is hard to beat
I love my Spectra s1 and used it exclusively with my second child! I'm exclusively bereavement pumping in honor of my 3rd child. For my current pumping journey I have 2 S1 pumps, a Spectra Synergy Gold, a Willow Go and an Elvie Stride. As an exclusive pumper I have found that being able to do different settings per side is a must. So my SG is my favorite. Followed by using 2 S1 pumps simultaneously when needing to be unplugged. Then the Willow Go if I have to be mobile. I hate the Stride. I do not respond as well to either wearable pump.
I was just thinking of this last week. I love my spectra S2 better than my motif luna. I need something more portable for days im out running errands and cant commit to lugging around the S1. I bought a pair of S12 type pumps but they don't empty me at all.
Comfort single Avent has actual vibration in the pump not microvibration but actual vibration that travels up the tubes. I love spectra and the vibration I found it because of Avent I loved that it vibrated and looked for more vibration and got to motif Luna the old one and that got me to spectra but I still think Avent is one of the closest to Spectra
You mentioned a DMC that can work with insurance to provide the Unimom Opera and linking it. I didn't see a specific link for that. Do you mind sharing?
The hands free Lansinoh new version has the vibration style like the spectra. I really wish you would review the new new Euby S1pro the hands free that has heating it’s new but looks a lot like Lansinoh
Imo medela has the best most innovative flange style. I just switched over to that style because i hate washing parts so much. I just hack my existing pumps (spectra, baby Buddha, pumpables ga). My kid also only took dr brown bottles for a while so it was important to have something that fits those.
@@isabelamuller9930 using the new style with the backflow protector and duck bill all in one I just bought medela tubes and took the connectors out and put them in spectra tubes. Medela says not to use those parts on other pumps but I’ve never noticed an issue.
How does the ameda pearl compare to the platinum? I responded really well to the platinum when my baby was in the nicu but also loved the vibration in the spectra for stimulating let downs.
What are your thoughts on the Zomee Fit vs the Willow Go? I was hoping for a wearable similar to the Spectra S1 for certain circumstances but my insurance only covers the Zomee Fit.
@@madelinejahnke3008 So I did end up getting the Zomee Fit through my insurance. It is a nice little pump BUT it doesn't have a good lifespan. I wore out the battery and motor with occasional use after about six months. My Pumpables Genie Advanced is still going strong nine month into my breast feeding experience, and I bought the Legendairy Milk cups for occasional use (I like them MUCH better than the Zomee Fit.)
@@pointedlogic oh no!! That’s so helpful, thanks! I saw a couple other people mentioning the motors dying, what a bummer ☹️ which legendary milk cups? The collection cups you can use with any pump, or their wearable Imani pump?
@@madelinejahnke3008 The collection cups that work with any pump. They have been great. I use them whenever I take the dog for a walk or if I have to travel for work during a time I normally pump. All other times I use silicone flanges with the Pumpables Genie Advanced pump.
The Spectra 1 and I loved. The Spectra 9 Ididn't. When double pumping, I would max the suction and felt like i wasn't getting as much milk. I love how small it was, but just did t get as much as the Spectra 1. Would u say the Genie has the same or stronger suction?
The suction is similar (the spectra 9 actually has great suction capabilities), but the cycle speeds are much better on the genie advanced. I have found the people do really well with the genie advanced after using the spectra 1. It’s not all about the suction!
On the spectra 9 do you mean? The cycle speeds are set on that pump and inversely correlate with the suction. So the higher the suction, the slower the cycle speeds. Does that make sense?
@NewLittleLife yes! Thank you. I've been beige watching your videos since I have 3 yr old and am now halfway through my 2nd pregnancy. Stationary pumping seems like it will be a no go lol I really needed a good pump with my son because he wasn't latching well, my milk was low and seemed to take forever to fully come in. Fingers crossed I don't have those issues with my daughter. I appreciate all the time and research you put into these videos. 😊 They are so helpful and really fun to watch. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Which DMEs for the unimom opera?
My insurance (BCBS Blue Care Elect) completely covered a unimom opera. I am having twins!

I love my spectras got first the s2, bought the s1 to take to work it is bulky but for me does the job nicely

Are the new medela collection connectors with the single big yellow membrane and no duckbill noisy?
@@laurashortill8623 i haven’t noticed any major noise difference compared to the spectra style with separate duckbill and membrane.
Thanks for a great video. What setting on the PGA would you use if you do a 38 cycle and 4-6 vacuum on Spectra?

Can you review the Crane Breast pump!? It’s a New Zealand pump that’s sold through buy buy baby
I want to ask one more question my baby is 2 months old can I start using Hakka now to increase milk supply?? Please reply

Does the spectra synergy gold (portable) have that vibration? It seems like not really many pumps do! 😕
I’m using the sonata and need a new pump, being in Canada the spectra S1 is almost $700 all in. Is the super genie and genie advanced comparable??
Medela freestyle flex has vibrations tho
How to pump while exclusively brea

I see that sooo often! Why?!?
I have the spectra 2 coming in the mail.

They do! I got mine yesterday! You just have to fine a suppler that has it in on their list!

So basically.... None are similar (in quality + vibration), aside from the Pearl. 😅 Good to know
