人們永遠無法探知天有多高，但以愛來灌溉的樹，也許可以超越生命的極限，當世界末日來臨之時，它將緊緊­抓住大地，繼續向上延伸，等待下一個世界的甦醒，那就是相信與希望的力量，亦是全曲的主題。音樂上，不同聲部輪流唱出主旋律，每一段的和弦均較前一後豐富，再由鋼琴引導下作首尾呼應，像是表達從一粒種子長大成一棵大樹，最後幻化成一­片花團錦簇的過程。
People can never measure the lofty sky, but if we nurture a tree with love, the limit of mortal life may be overcome. When the doomsday comes, the tree of love will hold the earth firm with its roots, and keep extending upwards. The Tree of Love reminds both the singers and the audience to have strong faith and hope toward a better tomorrow. Musically, the melody of the song is carried by different voice parts at different stanzas, and the harmony becomes richer and richer as the song progresses. With the guidance of piano accompaniment, the song simulates the image of the growth of a big tree from a seed, and eventually turns into luxuriant bouquets.
