Congratulations on the "new" tractor. Amazing that a 54 year old tractor is better than the junk made today. Wish I still had the '77 international 574 we had as a kid and the '74 GMC. I got rid of my money pit 2018 Ford pickup and searched and finally got an old school Dodge. Going to do same thing with my tractor. No preprogrammed to fail electronics. All analog is the way to go.
Every issue this tractor has and could have in the future can be fixed THERE and not at a dealer or by a high tech computer mechanic. You can inframe completely rebuild that motor with out and major tools. SIMPLE TRACTOR, SIMPLE FARMING
That one should be a good fit now you got choice to find 5 bottom plow 7-9 tooth chisel plow no problem pulling them. Neighbor had a 756 Diesel and 826 Diesel both were good work horses.
@@FarmallFanatic. I’m sure you can. I was there at the dealership when the 826 arrived. It was pre sold to a well known IH family and from the first 50 hours it had problems. Another three arrived the following month and they all had the same issues. In the end they were swapped out with 856’s or larger machines. I don’t know if all dealers were so customer supportive or IH sponsored the exchange but all the 826’s (from that dealer) were returned to the factory. I think I remember my father calling them the German IH engine. Don’t get me wrong I’m pro IH more than anyone. I just remember these issues and It was a first to see such serious problems with a new model. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!
I'm glad that you pulled the trigger on the international 826 because I thought that had potential, and the 826 is an outstanding tractor you bought a great tractor 👍👍👍
Yup, this is the one I thought, you would get. I don't know a lot about these tractors. But I remember it looked clean with only a few minor things. It also, sounded good on the cold start. Seemed like an honest rig. Good for you
Congrats FF, on a big dog on the farm! My buddy has an 826. It is a beast. He runs a New Holland BR750 round baler and it does a great job! 1000 pound bales all day long. Great purchase!
Nice machine! Those, you don't see around here very much at all. It's been fun following along on your quest for massive red power. Well done! The Cubby hang looks great
Awesome! Glad you got a deal done on the 826 I think you will like that tractor it’s gonna be fun watching you get it all fixed up and ready to pull! BOOM!!!
I have a 826 Hydro. Good tractor. The engine is a German diesel. The fuel pump has a start position when pulled 2/3 out with the throttle in the idle position. You keep it in that position for a few seconds and then release it and increase the throttle setting after the engine starts. To stop the engine you put the throttle into idle position and pull the "choke " completely out. Smaller iH tractors of that vintage have German diesel engine fuel pumps also. Such as IH454s
Congradulations on the new toy, I cant wait to see the videos on the 826. Youll have to get some implements for her now, one of those row 7000 corn planters.
Excellent video Gino :) also congratulations on Farmall 826 1970 tractor buy also get headlights fix up to be working to repair list! Also Desiel motor nice have does that tractor have block heater to if not get one installed save on Electrical especially starter and Alternator recharge battery too ! Also would do after get Fuel Injection pump Gino add 200 ml of GM Automatic Transmission fluid type 2 or 3 in fuel tank help clean fuel tank also whole engine! Even Fuel Injection and carb cleaner bottle in too fuel included each month ! When super cold temperatures Gasoline Antifreeze bottle each month save from gel fuel up !
Looks like you bought a nice one. While I'm definitely an Oliver guy, I have to admit that IH's are good, sturdy-looking tractors. I know the feeling of bringing home a purchase of a "new" tractor for the collection. Enjoy and I'll be interested to see what you do to it.

You know i was watching this tractor like a hawk on market place waiting to see it say sold and boy i wasn't sure if you bought it or not but congrats can't wait to see it hooked up to a nice set of 4 bottoms
Well congrats on your new purchase. You can believe this or not but I knew you were going to get that one. Don't ask how but I guess it was just your actions when you were there and then leaving. Enjoy it something to play with now and added to collection!
Congratulations FF, I would be smiling from ear to ear watching your friend unloading the 826 at my house. I love the pictures when you’re looking down that long hood🤗🤗 I hope you still keep making videos and going to to auctions with big red Farmalls. But I can understand if you’re going to play with the 826 for a while, I would. Love your videos and how is it you know all about different auctions. H G 826 year Pete
Nice to have a Diesel in the bunch! A real workhorse of a Red Machine!

I can't remember if it's 2012 or 2014, but that's pretty much the Mendoza line for DEF
@@FarmallFanatic I believe it was 2014

Very excited for you! Can’t wait to see some more videos of it.
The suspense was killing me. Looks like a great addition to the fleet!!
Congratulations, I can't wait to see it out in the field.
❤The fuel enrichment is your fuel SHUT OFF TOO
IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO SHUT OFF WITH THE THROTTLE
Well i'm sure there's adjustments to be made here
I strongly recommend not using this to stop the engine.
@@Military-Museum-LP When I throttled down the engine died... That's how it is on most diesels
@@FarmallFanaticno that chokes them. Should be a lever on the side of the pump for shut off.
Congrats on the purchase. Hit the nail on the head with 826.
Congrats on the new tractor. Was hoping you were gonna get that tractor. Looking forward to seeing lots of videos of it 👍🏻
Congratulations, that is a beautiful machine!

Sounds solid double F ! Well done dude !
Awesome nice tractor Gino. Nice buy. See you then. Have a good day.
Nice addition to the fleet!
Every 826 I’ve seen has blow by and many with pump issues. I will always prefer the 856. It’s still an IH so a keeper.
Well I can solve both of those

Great tractor, congratulations
Congrats on the IH 826!!! Looking forward to seeing it in the field. Enjoy that RED POWER!!!!

Looks in great condition overall. We had an 806 gas that did lots of heavy work back on the old farm.
Awesome, She;s a beauty,. With just enough to do to make some fine content. Dandy. Loved the video.
🎉congrats great choice
Congratulations! So happy for you. (chrome stack)
That could happen 😁
When you take the pump in
Take the injectors in also.
One bad one can ruin a good tractor. Also have them turn it up 10% . You'll love it !!!
My main objective is to get as much power as I can, while maintaining the fuel efficiency in the field

On machinery pete show there was a 1973 International 1466 with 6140 hrs on farm sale sell for 16000 in WI
Yeah but then once you throw shipping costs you might as well have bought local
Congrats on the new tractor..Hopefully I will see you out in the field when my daughter playing ball, and I can see it run in person.
if it's good enough to play softball, it's good enough to till fields.. So pretty high likelihood
