its euro model has air compressor and park break us models were made 89 to 91
brake kleen works but u forgot to hold and light the torch first then brake kleen spray in to the fire the fire will reach wasps and kill em lol
also u dont wanna pick berrys to close to the ground those berrys probably make u sick foxes and stuf pee on that and u can get real sick eating berrys of ground level only pick em high like waist or chest high
The 50 and 55 series tractors were the best ever made. 18 000 hours on our 4650 and it still has amazing compression with one crank. Keep them well maintained and it’s a lifetime machine
I love the look on Wiley's face when an engine fires up for the first time after sitting for so long. His expression says it all. Excellent.
4755 made from 1990-1995 187.7 horse power. Nothing runs like a Deere and nothing smells like a John!
180 at the pto nice looking tractor definitely worth saving wish i had the cash to buy it put a tube in that tire and i could get alot done on my small 8 aces for sure
Actually 4755 was made from 1989-1991. 1992 saw the introduction of the 60 series tractors.
60 was a euro model. Edit: My mistake, had seen somewhere a reference, likely was wrong. The 60 was us only.
It's always the same with john.. 😅
Великолепно 👍
That over fuel start up and that cloud of smoke means that tractor is fit and healthy and capable of a lot more work. Love that engine tone. They will just keep on pulling.
I’m surprised that it’s an European spec tractor over in the states.
@@mattkonkiel1280 thats not an european spec. the one with the exhaust alongside the cabin is the eu spec i think
@@chesoriadomingo7068 it has stickers with german words on it. At the rear it says "Vorsicht" (Attention) for example - The german words describing the functions of that driver's seat made me think someone put a german seat in there for comfort or something, but the more I look closely the more I'm getting confused. It is some kind of re-import?
Two old boys having fun God bless you!
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
Congratulations to hank and Wiley for getting the tractor running. Yeah.
Looks to be on decent shape yet. And you all got it to move also.
I would think with some TLC this would be a nice tractor.
Good going guys. Thanks.
The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Y’all pick out the best tunage to go along with your great videos!! Excellent content, thank you!! God Bless and keep on keeping on!! 😎🙏
Hank and Wiley you guys are amazing some of the tractors y'all have gotten to run surprise me how well they run
Thanks Hank and Wily for another great video. Great to see that John Deere moving again. Take Care you two's.
Thankyou for the video on the JOHN DEERE , it good to see them come back to life again , good work men .
That owner must have had some really lousy CREDIT that he couldn't just put a new tire on a card and then paid it off as he earned from his farm. To let the Tractor sit all those years is inexcusable.
Fr tho
We did a tour of the John Deere factory in Iowa back in 1995. They had models like that with front fenders and extra lights that were being produced to go over to Germany for the road crews over there to use on building roads and streets.
Y'all are the best fellas! God bless you both.
if you use brake clean you have to use a lot right off the bat. iv done many revivals and brake clean works for sure! the other thing is when they come out to replace that tire the tire guy is going to use his crane to replace that drive tire and that pole barn is in the way. awesome video as usual boys
I worked on alot of these in the 90s at a dealership. I have seen them go well over 10,000 hours. Good Iron!!
With the air compressor, handbrake and pickup hitch lever at the back of the cab, this definitely looks like it could have been a European market tractor!
Orange fender lights dead giveaway. Plus European power shift has a faster road gear
Hand brake is In normal place on all of them
Also the tyres, I don't think those tyres were available on US spec tractors
That's awesome 👌 can't beat those older John Deeres
Awesome video 📹 👏
God Bless
When you start counting you guys have started a bunch of old equipment I’ve enjoyed it hope you two keep it up ! That’s a great tractor for black barn Blossoms !
We've done some cool stuff together!
Geoff here in Australia; I totally agree with you 👍 when you said it was not natural? My dad said even animals don't do things they do. Yes things are changing BUT somethings are for the worst. Thanks guys
Wow, after 15 years , it started like that! That IS the magic number right? It's a good thing you didn't roll that rear tire off the bead. Oh wait. Now the wasps will have more of a place to hang out up inside the tire! Good video.
I can't fathom leaving a perfectly good machine like that to sit and rot in the name of one blown tire .... how?
Simple, spend $4000 or get the other tractor out of the barn.
Great video, I ran a 4955 and there is two batteries on that model. You’ll find it at the opposite side of the tractor under the step. If this helps.
The reason you couldnt get it to move at first was the “engagement override” safety feature that prevents you from starting the engine in gear. Going back to park allowed you to finally move it. Yall be sure to make sure start stuff in park! Be safe
Beautiful country. You guys are blessed.
Good job, Hank and Wiley. I appreciate you guys 👍
Fuel filer thing is the starter fluid. That 4755 came from overseas. It has the quick hitch, and the german writing is a give away.
I remember operating those John Deere tractors cutting, raking, and bailing hay when I was in prison in texas. Loved the 4wheel drive ones
I gotta get me one of those! 😅 You can hear that power! Turbocharged. I think that model makes about 200 HP. Good work guys! 😎
Awesome job Hank and Wiley take care god bless
Some new part and some paint, and that beauty will shine 😎Got to love these videos 👍
The trick to jumping a dead battery is attach positive to positive. Negative to a ground spot on the engine. This way the dead battery has less effect on the jump battery with drawing current away from starting. As a proud member of the 3701 BMT Squadron keep up the good work guys.
Man it's always such a shame when machines are just abandoned like that... all the better that people like you give the old iron a second chance!
Dr Wiley and Nurse Hank. Another great recovery 👍👍👍
I love watching your videos. I have a small farm here in middle Tennessee and I love working on old farm equipment and bringing it back to life. Do you think Mr. Johnny would be interested in selling the old tractor?
Great video Guys. I enjoy watching all your will it starts, keep up the good work.
nice to see you both, most entertaining videos i watch well done guys
I used to operate one of these (late model with side exhaust) over here in the UK.
About 190hp and getting collectable here. Wants paint and a cab trim kit.
Love the channel guys.
If the exhaust was on the side it’s a 4960 ain’t it
Not in the UK…
Oh ok
in basically all of europe they never changed from 55 series to 60. they were still called 55. no idea why. pretty dumb if you ask me.
@@Hermiwalle The reason it wasn’t a 60 series in Europe was to avoid the expensive testing in Europe to get a new product introduced it was easier to leave it as a 55 series. We never got 55 series in the 50 to120 hp in Europe just straight to 6000 series
That farmer couldn't afford a new tyre, fair enough, but he could afford for this tractor to sit doing nothing. Wow, he's doing better than I am for sure 😊
Typical wasteful whining farmer. Please help me with some more government subsidies, wa wa wa😢😢
Great job 👌 God bless
Brake cleaner does work but you have to ignite the spray make it a flame thrower
Nice job and God bless y'all
Also guys that tractor has two batteries. I believe it’s two twelve volt. The other one is on the other side under the step by the lower cab widow. Older ones use two six volt in series to make a twelve system. By this model they put two twelve in series so it’s still a twelve system. They basically did this to aid starting in colder regions
If the man just wants to get the tractor back to the farm you can un bolt the tire nock the tire of the rim then get a very large patch and put on the in side of the tire where the slice is then get a tube and put in the tire and put every thing back together and air up the tire.
I haven't had much luck with the green crc can I use the red crc brake clean or oriellys brand they fall dead for me. Not so much with green can don't think it's as strong.
Your braver than u am i have arachnaphobia bad.
Man that tractor is nice, I can’t believe they let it set for so long.
That was a one that was shipped overseas and came back or it was supposed to go overseas. You can tell by auxiliary light above the weight bracket and the air on the tractor. That’s why there is foreign writing on the seat base.
Also the ends in the 3 pt hitch are Euro style.
I'm envious! I have a 4230 which is half the size of this beast. The things a new farmer like myself could do with a machine that impressive :)
Great job getting it going, JD made some amazing equipment from the 1970s through the 90s. I won't bother getting anything new with those iron beasts still around.
The seat doesn't work off of air. It works off of hydraulics.
Nothing runs like a Deere! What a tractor! Good job guys.
John deere gets hit by cars
Howboutcha! Due to the price of pb blaster and brake clean, depending on the type of wasp i might have to go with the sting 😅😅 growin up i was always running international tractors and they were great but i got a soft spot for the john deeres of that era !
I wanna see more of this one! 👍
New tire cost 4000 but a sturdy tube inside costs 200. tire looks good.
"Tractor has a FLAT TIRE! Will it start?"
Another successful start and run! good job Guys!
Hank and Whilley you guys did it again great job
Just as I took a drink of water, Wylie goes in for a gas shot getting the hug from Hank!! 😂😂😂😂 I spit water everywhere laughing
Nice shoutout for Field Rows! I enjoy their content. Great video
Hola amigos como andan muy bueno el Jon dere bien cuidado me gusta tiene fuerza un abrazoarcelo de argentina sigan adelante
That's a wonderful tractor!!! really neat if you make it new!!!
I new to your channel... and can i just say you just started one very nice deere... i believe its the same gearbox as my ford 8730 so look after it and dont let the seals go hard by overheating the rear oil .. stay safe 🏴
Welcome!
Excellent video Hank :) & Wiley :) and Got Deere running excellent on motor !
Oh heck yeah my favorite is John deere tractors gonna love this video for sure ❤❤❤👍👍
Nice to see an original British tractor still living
Rear tires vary in price, type and quality. Priced from $791-$1600. Tractor made 1990-1995.
That's a great old tractor good power to chop hay or corn and good for plowing or discing
JOHN DEERE THE BEST NUMBER 1 💪💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
We have tons of this type john deere models in western canada very well like.thank video
Aqui no Brazil um trator desses estaria na ativa até hoje muita fazenda aqui não tem uma máquina desse nível até hoje.
Com pequenas máquinas conseguem fazer milagres
I use starting fluid to kill wasp all the time. It works!! Plus I keep it around to help starting equipment.
4755 John Deere is 187.7 horse power. I have two of them, but mine is dull rear tire. I have a couple good used tires that hold air, with about the same tread he can have for free if he wants to come get them?
1:57 honestly that sounds a little excessive from my shop assuming those are 20.8-38s we get those for around 1500 each mounted but depending on brand and your areas availability it could be a fair price
What a shame. Hopefully it is restored to the way it used to be
This was an awesome video and that tractor is beautiful
Thanks for mentioning Gordy, Another great one gone from our lives. Gord
Enjoyed this video Hank and Wiley. Success!!!
Thank you sir!
Lmao I heard you giggling after you said it hank. 😂 So did I lol 'it gotta have a big shaft to have a big cover for it' 😂 BTW, wily sounds like the late version of Johnny Cash when he sings. Interesting.
I don't know what to say. No sparks
Started right up. You guys are getting good
Pretty cool started first time great job thanks hank and Wylie please teach hank to back up
lol. I've got more miles backing up than going forward!
I haven‘t got it what was the Problem With the new Batterie?
Great job!
Brake cleaner works if you hold a lighter in front of it.. If you dont mind a little mess 3M spray trim adhesive works great. Its like spraying sticky spiderwed.
I just want you guys to know that I constantly watch your channel and I just wanted. You guys to know? I really think it's awesome what you guys do of working on these machines. My dad was a mechanic astwelve and he works with having machinery. So that's what makes it interesting. What you guys do. And I'm always watching the chairman because of he inspired me and having machinery. So I really think it's cool so I just want you guys to know. Keep up with your channel, cause I'll keep watching.
thank you very much
@@HamiltonvilleFarm You're welcome, Hamilton farm.
good work. Congratulations from Brasil
Amazing!
when you are working on a john deere from this era the batteries are 6 volt and they are always hooked in series and they are on either side of the engine or cab. right in front of the cab. also 1 battery will not start it. i have 3 of these tractors from this era 2 4440 john deeres and a 4640 john deere and they are all like this
The tenth character in the VIN number is the year character for John deere. Another good job by you guys even with Hanks jokes
This is not true
you guys are so awesome love your channel =) oh the hp is around 187 and the original price about 73,000 US
Great running 6-cylinder engine. Easy start.
I am glad that went well that a nice tractor
My dream tractor
Looks like a European /UK spec 4755 judging by the tyre sizes and tread patterns also the 3 point link arms are identical to UK spec
That 7.6 litre Waterloo engine always sounded wonderful I had a 4240s with the same engine but smaller intercooler. It always made short of a Kverneland 6 furrow reversible plough. We have a JD 7320 R on the farm now which has the 9 litre engine and double the horsepower but I prefer the sound of the smaller engine in the 40 series!
23.1 X34" rears?
The 55 series john deeres where one of the best series tbey made. Imo
Great watching again hank waly good morning from UK 🇬🇧
Wd40 works great on just about all kinds of bee's great video
A pleasure to watch
Whete did u get the wrench holder / organizer
Hank I think you and Wiley needs to make yourselves a utility belt like Batman holding starting fluid, penetrating oil, jumper wires, crescent wrench and vice grips 😆
