I’m also collecting sand for geological purposes, you know studying its color and mineral composition , and using that to determine which type of igneous rock (or individual minerals in some cases) it came from.

In Super Mario Sunshine, you don't even have to start a save file to touch sand because you're playing as Mario on a remote island there.

Probably we won't get a new Mario Kart in 2024, for 2024 the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC would be complete so in for May 29, 2014 Mario Kart 8 will be 10 years old and that marking the longest gap between a new Mario Kart entry, that being more than 10 years
Also, Nathaniel has been drove to absolute insanity for not having a new Super Mario game since 2017. Also I just beated Super Mario Odyssey yesterday... Again.
