The idea of putting a twin turbo v6 with over 300hp in a family station wagon is just amazing to me. And on top of that making it AWD... I love the Legnum VR4
No one around where I live (Canada) really seems to know much about the 300zx, if at all. But know all about the 240sx and to a somewhat lesser degree; 200sx/280sx's. I get that 300zx's are rarer, but that's what makes them better, never mind it being wider and I believe lower, can come with 2 turbos which even the n/a I believe has more power than the 240- could be wrong though. With all these plus's you'd think way more people would be more keen on the car.
Jon Lenin, I agree with you, but.. it's cuz the z32 is a jack of trades platform, good at everything but master of none.. and it's a very difficult platform to work on. extremely tight engine bay. I own a 1993 twin turbo.. it can even be hard to find a shop willing to work on it
I understand that 300's, being that they're scarce, are much more expensive to upkeep/upgrade than more traditional cars, but it just looks so timeless and sexy I love it and wish more people did too. I'm still looking for a decent 300zx and have been looking for months. Over 120 mile radius, there's never been more than 3-4 cars and majority aren't the model I'd like and/or has a history : / Enjoy your 300zx buddy, lucky bastard!
i had one for 4 years , easily tunable with a chip and some small mods to 400bhp , i sold my wonder full silver mint condition tt 300zx and the guy wrapped it around a tree the next day . too mucha powwwerrrrr :)
I love how people is calling the Z32 engine unreliable... Its a fucking bulletproof engine, maybe the one stuff-not-working is the driver, revving cold engines and not letting it cool down.
I think these engines were best engines ever produced from Japan. The 90s were the golden age of JDM. I still think that they were the best cars to this day. The supra and skyline are THE legends....
Yea the Z32 was a pain to work on as it was cramped and reliability was hit or miss. By when she ran, she ran, people would always question cause even though the Z32 is like 25 years old now it's still a gorgeous car.
As a teenager i can recall how much i used to admire the z32 300zx and gaping at them from the showroom window. It really was the most beautiful car in its heyday excluding some ferraris. 30 yrs later the effect is the same.
My cousin had a Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 a while back. That thing was freaky fast amazing how much torque it had. You rarely see those things around anymore.
I didn't see the VW VR6 but the RB26 will always be my favorite engine of all time. The Skyline R34 GT-R is a legendary car that died young. Now the GT-R badge is not on a skyline...RIP
Most beautiful car in my opinion is 300 ZX. The best engine is Nissan's RB26. If we are honest this engine was the reason why we didn't get older Skyline in USA.
I would argue that the 1JZ block is better than the 2JZ block in terms of boost pressure capabilities. The 2JZ head is better than the 1JZ head obviously. I know more than a few professional racers and backyard tuners who could agree on that. Lots of people Frankenstein the two in order to make a 1-2JZ engine. Same thing with the RB series. People will take the stronger RB30 blocks or the N1 blocks and combined them with better heads like the RB25, RB26, or RB28 heads depending on purpose.
I'm pretty sure someone already mentioned it, but the power figures for the 3000gt vr4 and stealth twin turbo you listed are a bit off. I can see why they'd be off because it's... really confusing lol. 1991~1993 models make 296HP and 306 ft lb tq at 9psi, 1994+ models make 320HP and 315 ft lb tq at 12psi with a stronger bottomend and transfer case plus a 6spd. otherwise great video
The 6G72TT has normal oil cooled turbos. I know because mine are leaking some. haha I also have plenty of exhaust videos you're free to use should you need in the future. :)
Lin Chester The old NSX was a milestone in the sport car history because it was the first which worked properly on a daily basis, a feature which was lacking from the Ferraris of that era, so it was setting a new benchmark for every competitor. It was cheaper, quicker, faster and more high tech than the Ferrari 355, so every single upcoming sport/super/hyper car which can be used as a daily can be thanked to the first gen NSX
Do videos about more unusual rebranded cars like eagle summit wagon or the mitsubishi expo with the 4g63t engine and awd. In sweden it was called space runner and only came with 1.8 l and fwd.
There are plenty of cars which I love. Starting with the BRZ which I am very fortunate to own, then cars like 911 R, 488 GTB, 570S ending with cars like Skyline GT-R, S15 etc. But if you shall choose one which I would buy instantly if I received a million dollars, it would be the Porsche 911 R, the new one. In my opinion it is the absolute perfect sports car - you have a punchy and powerful GT3 RS 500hp engine with an amazing soundtrack, a lovely manual gearbox, astonishingly beautiful car and nothing else. I love the simplicity of that - the car and you, nothing else that would/could interrupt you.
"Those inline sixes are just the best, don't you think?" I'll have to agree. Actually I think I've said it on one of your videos before, that the inline six engines have something that others just don't, it's a killer engine layout frankly.
That exact Grey Skyline GTR is now for sale in holland for 80.000 euros, it has 16.000 km on it and is capable of 600 hp with max boost. It is a normal gtr though, with a z tune bodykit and some other custom engine parts. My absolute dream car.
the Z-Tune are based off the R34 V-Spec factory demo car. But it has been given the Nismo treatment. while the BHP is 500BHP, the fully unlocked Z-Tune with the 8K rev limit removed allows it to go up to 600BHP at 9K rpm.
Why does the Legacy GT-B and the Galant have a speedometer that only goes to 180km/h? Were they limited to that speed or was it just another part of the "Gentleman's Agreement"?
Yes. I have a stock R34 V-Spec II with 180kph (around 112mph) clocks and it hits the speed limiter in 4th onwards. An easy fix but I'm keeping it as original as possible.
You probably won't see this, but please could you do a list of 70's British sports cars? My dad owns a 1972 triumph tr6 and I would love to see a list. Your English is really good btw, you don't need to worry about it.
I will see it, don't worry about that. And thanks, but an Australian friend of mine helps me quite a lot. Regarding the sports cars, I will look into that. Cheers!
Vg30de 160,000 miles on the clock and it's as healthy as ever, it's an iron black with aluminum heads and decent internals. If it shits out it wasn't taken care of. I do oil changes every 3-5000 miles depending how hard I drive her and I only use AMS oil and the oe filter. It's a bullet proof engine.
I haven’t watched your videos in awhile but I miss your commentary mate. I know awhile back some people were criticising you for your English. But fuck them, I enjoy and understand your commentary fine.
The idea of putting a twin turbo v6 with over 300hp in a family station wagon is just amazing to me. And on top of that making it AWD... I love the Legnum VR4
Eunos Cosmo is one of the most underrated, and one of my favorite Japanese cars from the 90's. Also, glad to see the GT-B on the list.
Agreed, I want one.
limetcm12 So do I. Wanna build one with N/A 20b some day, full on race car.
the engine has lots of potential but the chassis and gearbox are the weakest point of the Eunos Cosmo.
Is there a LHD Cosmo in your Video? Didn´t know there was one!
Lin Chester Don't know, maybe, only seen one in my life, but it was bone stock. But the chassis seems to be quite a good platform to build upon.
My favourite is the Nissan 300ZX
Still one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.

The 3000GT surprised me. What a wonderful car.
That 3000gt tho👌🏼 light years ahead
As a teenager i can recall how much i used to admire the z32 300zx and gaping at them from the showroom window. It really was the most beautiful car in its heyday excluding some ferraris. 30 yrs later the effect is the same.
My cousin had a Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 a while back. That thing was freaky fast amazing how much torque it had. You rarely see those things around anymore.
I'm so glad to see a 3000gt in this list
my fav is VG30DETT
I came here for the 6A13TT.
until you have to replace the centre diff
Dracule Mihawk thats only if the car was thrashed to death. what do you expect from an awd car.
Yeah but the transmission was so fkd on that one hahaha
I also on 6a13tt
That was my silver Legnum
yay that 300zx thumbnail
My favourite class of cars 👌
At 9:26 min, that's back when i was NA with the VG30DE on my Cherry Red Pearl 300ZX. Now that i am NA-TT she's a different beast !
Please do Asian V8's list.
That's a great idea. Noted!
Korrupted :D
Z32 and Supra the most reliable tt out of em all. whoever said the Z is unreliable is smoking crack. Those engines are bulletproof
all engines have problems. Z has some and 2jz supra engines crank walk a lot. people just don't like to talk about it obviously.
Good to see the Legnum and Galant again,
Thanks visio!
;)
Yep me too. My all time great
Mitsubishi’s v6 it my favourite, makes the most torque our of all of them, and can rev hard too
1j and 2j anyday although i love the VG30 as I love the zx
Thumbs up for the Legnum
Here for 3000gt VR4
I like the new intro speech. it helps us with an insight into the video
Glad you take it this way. That's basically what I meant with it. Thank you!
VisioRacer you could do a video of the Best lamborghini of all time;-)
I'm only here for the 6G72TT!!
had a legnum vr4 awesome car would definatly have another one, but for now i've got a big single turbo supra :D
Good for you
Still own mine about 500-594 hp is the best I'm getting out the legnum
Super video ! We want more like this :)
the final on this video the godzilla eating pony is epic.
I didn't see the VW VR6 but the RB26 will always be my favorite engine of all time. The Skyline R34 GT-R is a legendary car that died young. Now the GT-R badge is not on a skyline...RIP
Should've used the 2nd gen for the 3000gt, had more like 350hp not 280 like the first gen
I had Z32 twin Turbo JDM it was a rocket.
Most beautiful car in my opinion is 300 ZX. The best engine is Nissan's RB26. If we are honest this engine was the reason why we didn't get older Skyline in USA.
sano0311 Nope, it was due to Nissan not wanting to submit the Skyline for crash testing.
Skyline Z-Tune RB28DETT
😍
2:39 sounds like a V8 until around 5,500 RPM
yeah it does actually!
What about 6A13TT? (Galant Vr4)
was there any question the RB, VR38, 2JZ, and 20B would be here?
they are twin turboed.
Hey, that's pretty good
10 underrated cars that also can achieve 400 kph or more
Good luck with that, underrated and 400+ kph can't go together.
Pretty cool video and cars!
6G72 holy shit
amazing video! keep going!
Got a 2001 legnum type s last month :))) so much fun
S chassis & DOHC's are life!
damn right
The Z-Tune in the walkaround looks like a replica. The one ripping around looks like the real deal though.
Nice vid.
anyone know where can i get that sticker at 0:10?
Great introduction of JDM goodies.
3000GT VR4
@5:10 ain't that that that the shop they used in 2 fast 2 furiousc
Car STUFF274 It looks like it, good eye!
Car STUFF274 veilside is a real company

Oh okay. Thanks
can you do the most reliable roadcars in the world and a most unreliable road cars in the world
old school 1jz is my favorite my friend ,I love the mk3 supra he just looks bad ass
The 6G72TT has normal oil cooled turbos. I know because mine are leaking some. haha
I also have plenty of exhaust videos you're free to use should you need in the future. :)
We're blowing smoke? And did you ever get yours fixed?
Next video please : ridiculously small car engines ? :D
And now we're back on track! Phew, you had me worried for a second there...
Why?
good video, thanks for uploading
There is a black NSX at the background, when the new NSX is launching
yee, I honestly wanted to see that too :D
it looks like the NA1 NSX,
I not a fan of the new NSX, I still love the NA2
Lin Chester The old NSX was a milestone in the sport car history because it was the first which worked properly on a daily basis, a feature which was lacking from the Ferraris of that era, so it was setting a new benchmark for every competitor. Gto amazing car 👍🏻
Finally someone knows about the galant
Do videos about more unusual rebranded cars like eagle summit wagon or the mitsubishi expo with the 4g63t engine and awd. In sweden it was called space runner and only came with 1.8 l and fwd.
It's nice to have someone to share information about cars but at tbe same time burning them out
How many people said to me that the 3000gt vr4 is very expensive. After 5 minutes I saw 3000gt vr4 for 5k euros
I've got a 1990 300zx turbo and yes, it is one of the most challenging cars I've ever worked on. Lots of over engineering and not enough space.
Спасибо, порадовал)))
Cyka blyat
commie go away
Brandon Michaels Calm down moron
Supra where my hearts at.
Mk4 series 2
Well done
Thank you
Great video once again ! Also, could you do a video of the best Australian engines ?
Keep up the good work !
I love the EJ20, the 1 and 2 JZ and the RB engines
Good vid!!
8:10 that srt4 though 🤤
@VisioRacer what cars are in your personal collection? I have always wondered. Good to hear your voice!

Could you do one with the JDM 4 cylinders engines and how insanely powerful they can get.
The Eunos Cosmo reminds me of an S13 Silvia
I am a rotary guy through and through! It doesn't matter if it the 12a, 13b or any other configuration.
13b is my dream engins
Same but more specificity the 13 b-rew in the rx7 FD3S
"Those inline sixes are just the best, don't you think?"
I'll have to agree. Actually I think I've said it on one of your videos before, that the inline six engines have something that others just don't, it's a killer engine layout frankly.
300zx TT yaaaaa
Once you go JDM you never go back!
on the Z-Tune part: Always gotta love the guy who goes and drifts his $200k-$300k car eh?
another random note: the 1jz is more popular in drifting as the shorter stroke lets it rev up faster.
wat about the inline 6 4.8 liter tb48 by nissan
its single turbo
Yeah man!those things are crazy with a monster single turbo!
That exact Grey Skyline GTR is now for sale in holland for 80.000 euros, it has 16.000 km on it and is capable of 600 hp with max boost. It is a normal gtr though, with a z tune bodykit and some other custom engine parts. My absolute dream car.

Jdm cars are much better when tuned

Rx7 And subaru legacy 🔝😎
Love the 300zx tt z32 . Love the skylines too, but they lack the visual appeal of the z32.
I want a Prius so bad I mean it's my dream car
JDM - Japan domestic market only, not soled out side Japan
@9:19 Going over 120 km/h in neutral...
My favorite is the one and only 2jze Japanese spec online with turbocharged
