So it kills your alarm In the process? This is why I'm considering adding a killswitch to my fuel pump. It doesn't kill or slowly drain the power but it prevents the car from turning over and I can keep the alarm activated.
Yes It does, and yes attaching a kill switch to the pump is the better option for that reason This is an easy and simple way to kill power,my main reason was just to not have everything drain my battery for not using it Thanks for the support! Dont forget to subscribe!
little update the Kill switch did kill battery after not using it for 12 days I do have alot of after market electronics so thats probably why! New update coming soon
The switch was awesome, but didn’t solve my battery draining issue… I left it for 2 weeks without using it and it lost charge I have some type of parasite drainage, so I now unplug the battery completely For normal usage, this kill switch is great and totally recommend! The only cons is that it resets the windows for calibration and for aftermarket radios the time is a little off Hope this helped!
You'd think with it disconnected it would prevent any parasitic draw altogether. Kind of odd it didn't solve it for you. I'm having the same issue and hoped it would be a good way to resolve it. Bummer.
I have dual 10” Skar audio evl’s in their dual armored box which was very hard to get in. Had to take everything apart in the trunk including trunk latch and plastics to get that to fit in. I ended up taking an angle grinder and splitting my cover in half to gain access to the battery underneath. Just put to carpet right over it and you can’t tell. I also installed a second battery next to the subs to power those because of the power draw. Looks good bro! Keep the videos coming!
Wanted to come back and say that I followed your recommendation, I don't know why I never thought about it!!! Now I can service my Battery without removing my Subs Thanks!
Get it here!!
