Oysters are incredibly nutrient-dense and contain the most bioavailable zinc out of any other food. Avoid consuming microplastics by choosing Pacific oysters-you can even get them in cans.
The top things that can contribute to low testosterone:
    • Statins
    • Soy
    • Grains
    • Low hydrochloric acid
    • Sugar
    • Stress
    • Poor sleep
    • Obesity
    • High iron levels
Additional ways to increase testosterone naturally:
    • Exercise
    • Consume enough cholesterol foods
    • Lower your stress
    • Get plenty of sleep
    • Consume red meat
    • Consume eggs
    Thank you Dr Berg!

About this stomach acid thing... I had reflux really bad for a while and apple cider vinegar made it worse. My doctor obviously wanted to put me on PPIs and I said that I didn't want to as they reduce stomach acid and will stop me absorbing vital nutrients (as per Dr Berg) ... She said nutrients are absorbed in the gut not the stomach and that the acid in the stomach is to kill harmful bacteria we may take in when eating and also to break down food better. I thought, I actually knew that from school... It's amazing how watching someone talk about something can change your whole mindset if you're not careful. Anyway, I stopped dr bergs apple cider vinegar and I didn't take the PPIs... I got myself some probiotics, some gut healing bone broth and started exercising more, it's improved a million percent.

This was me as well. But here is the reason why ACV makes it WORST for some people. This usually because you have some type of overgrowth in your gut, such as Candida for example. You don’t have a good ratio of good to bad bacteria in your gut, so when you introduce too much good bacteria too quickly, the result is always negative, and things such as gas, fatigue, acid reflux and others can occur. The best thing is to, as your post comment says, fix the microbiome. Start off with a probiotic in low amounts. If you have Candida overgrowth, Dr Berg sells a product called Bacti-Cleanse, which has helped push back my Candida like crazy! Exercising and fasting will also help strengthen your good bacteria. Veggies and greens may be hard for your microbes to digest so if you have problems with it, don’t eat it. Build up your good bacteria for awhile, then SLOWLY introduce the fiber. It’s always better to do things slowly, otherwise you’ll definitely pay the price. Trust me 😂

    • @connorgilliland8100
      @connorgilliland8100 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Also just to address the whole mineral absorption….absorption is DEFINITELY done in the small intestine, not the stomach. The misconception here is that the stomach helps make minerals become more bioavailable so that we can better absorb it in the small intestine. If you’re eating red meat, for example, and have low stomach acid, your body can’t separate the proteins from the minerals (such as iron) because it lacks the acidity. So the minerals become wasted. You can take a supplement, but it’s not much better because the acid still has to break down the minerals into its simplest forms for it to be absorbed in the small intestine. Hopefully that clears things up lol

I think you have a serious problem of some kind. Too much iron can affect your endocrine system, and that may explain hair loss. High iron affects your heart too. If you are anywhere near a university teaching hospital or a place like the Mayo clinic or Johns Hopkins, or Cedar's Sinai in Los Angeles, that's where I would go. John's Hopkins is a very reputable hospital for taking on unusual cases. It is well funded and has funding for people who can't afford their medical care if that would be a problem. I hope your insurance would cover a place like that. Good luck and take of yourself.

Oysters are filter feeders and 'micro plastics ' are the least of your worries...Toxins from rivers and other sources (ie tourist ships dumping tons of shit from their holding tanks in pristine water ways... Very difficult to know where they come from...In Australia where I live the oysters *Pacific Black Lipped variety are HUGE...Thanks Eric

Yes, sunflower seeds are high in zinc and help with male infertility. They have also been shown to reduce chances of cardiovascular disease and blood pressure but we shouldn’t eat more than about a cup per day.
