Although I question whether he’s still in his 30s I do enjoy watching a basic white man struggle so I liked the video for ya! 😂

The local forecast was calling for some light showers for around midnight last night. About 11:46 PM I was awoken when the heavens opened up. It was raining and hailing so hard that when I pulled back the curtain and looked out the window and could barely see my Dodge Dakota sitting in the driveway about 30 ft from my bedroom window. In fact after about 15 minutes of this nonsense I believe I caught a glimpse of Noah and his Ark floating down my driveway.

I don't care what other people think. You seem to have a good way that works for you, and that's what is important. You keep the cows fed. You definitely have more work than you need. An idle mind is the devils playground. Keep up the good work and I'll see you later. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Those pins, they're quiet Ross and extremely difficult to find, odds are, it's in a bale already, I hope your cattle have magnets in their first stomachs. Ross, might be a silly question but, have your considered growing Sorghum and possibly oats and rye as a mix crop rotation?
Ross, I don't remember what kind of salt we used on our square bales that got "wet" but, put salt on them. As for the bale count per round bale, that varies greatly, how heavy is your round bale divide by the weight on your square bales.
I kept around 20 to 30 head of cattle, that included the calves, every 3 day's I'd feed, I also kept out 4 bale feeders so, 4 bales every 3 days along with range cubes. Now, I've had to chop ice on a daily basis unless it warmed up. But, you're right, you do you and what works for you, well, works for you. If you ever think about it, keep an eye out for those "telephone" poles, they do come up for auction every so often, buy some, start planning for a future building for tractor storage. 😁You can build one fairly cheap if you do things right, I've built several over the years, just need something to keep the weather off the equipment. Great video as always, cheers :)
P.S. Load up on vitamins, you've been sick for too long to not have had or still fighting C19. They'll help you get over it.

I have my hay stacked in a small lot between all of my fields, that just works out better for me! I needed about 180 to 220 up until the last year or so, which last year I used 150 plus or minus 10. Used electric wire for years, but in the most recent years I went to cattle panels and barbed wire. Really enjoyed this one, good luck on the soybean planting, I hope you get-r-done. Have a nice day!

I think we need 32-hour days. That way we could work 24 hours and still have 8 hours to sleep. Hay time was always a great time because nothing smells better than fresh-cut hay. Great video.

We got the corn planted before but last week was a crazy hay week. I baled 200 small bales. My dad got like 65 round bales of like 13 acres. I had loaded it up with chicken litter in the spring 😂😂

Trails in the sand by Peter dragon? I feel your pain on the too many projects and not enough time front! All this stuff you want/need to do and way too many other more pressing things need attention. I've got a 565, 5-16's I want to get polished up before our local show, first weekend of August. Hoping to get that done, the tractor to pull it with......

Ain't life a challenge...anyone who farms can relate to that. In theory if all the tractors on your place were "runners" you'd seldom ever have to unhitch an implement. At least with several tractors matched to larger implements, if one goes down, things don't come to a standstill. Trying to juggle haymaking and delayed planting can sharpen one's vocabulary when things go from bad to worse LOL
