It still amazes me that this stuff was built so long ago , and are still workhorses. I USTA pull old Farmalls out of the briars and make decent money on them. All of them were the smaller letter series tractors back as a teenager. Motor kits were dirt cheap back then. If I'd have known , I'd of bought many 113 , and 123 engine kits back then. I've passed on many great tractors with bad engines since. People knew the ones I sold had fresh engines , and good seals. But there is no money in receiving old stuff with bad engines anymore.
My neighbor bought a new John Deere cab tractor. It's smooth and a dream to run. BUTT!!!! it is constantly not running because of all the electronics on it. It's constantly stopped in the field when it'll just idle and nothing will work. He hasta get a John Deere rep out to figure out what sensor has went bad, or what has came unplugged. I just don't see any of these modern tractors doing hard labor for the distance these old girls will. I see building a cab , air ride seat , adding A/C to my old Farmall M , and calling it a day. Sure it's pushing 80 years old BUTT , it just keeps on keeping on. If it doesn't run , she's easy , n cheap to fix. Might even build an A/C cab for the little International 140 , just because why not?!?!
The case 1060 combines had a Chrysler 318 engine. I thought that case 400 with loader brought pretty good money. Like the case self - propelled hay machine, it's to bad that combines and self- propelled had to go salvage.
One of the best channels out here for old iron great job!!
Appreciate that
Was nice to meet you at this auction, you got a good tractor. The next day I was at a sale north of quinter and bought a Ford tractor.
Who had that sale? Berning?
@@tmonteIH yes
Always love the surprises you can find at an auction!
You got that right!
Good haul, we always called the spirit of 76 cadet, the ole Evil Kneivel mower…lol
Don’t think I’ll try jumping any cars.
The external filter & hose on the fuel cap is to let the cap breathe, the newer caps have 2 holes for that cause.
Really enjoy your videos, nice find on the 1206.
Thanks 👍 glad you enjoy them.
I'll take a Wheatie any day...super beasts of red power...excellent grab!
I always prefer a wheatie. But that’s just what I know best.
What a good day. Happy for you
Yes, thank you
What a beautiful machine!
Thanks I’m pretty tickled with it.

Great tractor, nice view.

1206's just have a totally different look. The white wheels and grill make them stand out from the others.
And that’s why I love them
Another 12-0 that's a good day any day 😊sounds great

Do what you want

Sad isn't it
I pushed that little case pretty far. Was a cool little thing. Hate seeing those combines go to scrap too but what good are they?
Another nice one!
Thanks again!
good video
Thanks
What do you want for the dozer blade?
It’s sold. Well actually traded for.
Dc4 was the one with loader
Case swathers were built by Hesston
1206 is the only international id own. Pure muscle tractor
They are just an absolutely iconic tractor.
1206 is like MM G1000 vista, $$$$$ insanity prices
Would completely agree. Got lucky and got this one pretty reasonable.
Is that a heater?
On the back of the cab that’s the AC. Heater is by my right leg in the cab.
Wow, $7100.00 !!!
Pretty good deal really.
Strass wins again dang it! Lol
We may have had it partially arranged before the sale if I decided not to take it home.
Thats a DC4 not a 400
It’s an old case. Pretty irrelevant unless it a 30 series or newer.
That Dc4 sure sold well enough
