Yannis has got to be the hardest worker. He's always so helpful and friendly.
I’d love to see an update on Michael’s apartment at the chateau! I know I’m not the only one who misses your channel 💔
I totally agree. Last video I saw was that Michael was working on getting a bathroom. Do you have one now, Michael? Love to see.
Me too. Have missed the cosiness of his cottage compared to the grandeur of the château
Absolutely I’m ready to see that and how the green house is coming along
I also enquired
Me too!!!!
I agree w/ Michael... That olive tree needs to be on the terris (sp?)
Yes that gorgeous tree deserves to be outdoors and enjoyed on a daily basis. Chateau terrace would be perfect!
@@henand3chicksDon’t know if it would survive the winter outside.
I read that olive trees do well in corners or anywhere there is sunlight as they need plenty of that. So I suppose where they decide to put it as long as there is plenty of light.
Well done Martin, Billy, Michael and with Yannis and Rick with his beautiful smile that lights up his face! What a great bunch of men, well done to all of you. Thank you Michael, was lovely to hear you playing the piano and such a favourite tune. Thank you for your videos Billy you do a great job. Enjoy your weekend.👏👏👏👏💝💝
Well said and totally agree❤!
Wow! What a transformation. And it's not even done. Michael melts my heart everytime I hear him play the piano and/or organ. Just as his smile and cheery personality does. I'm saying this as someone old enough to be his mum or even nan. He's precious!!
The first time ya’ll showed the kitchen a few years ago, I never imagined that it could ever be restored. It’s incredible what you have been able to accomplish. Great job! What a team!
Those tiles are beautiful. Sorry about the door being left open and the Chateau getting dusty. Call it job security lol there is always something to be done though. Just getting the sand blasting done has made a world of difference in that kitchen. Well done Gentlemen. Have a great day
Apparently, Walt Disney loved the tune "Feed the Birds" so much that, at the end of a long day, he'd wander into the Sherman brother's studio and have them play it for him.
Veteran actor Jane Darwell played the bird lady. It was her last role.
Oh Michael your piano playing warm my heart.
Blimey, the tune on the piano took me back to when I was about 7yrs old, on stage at school singing "Feed the birds tuppence a bag" to that tune. I'm 64 now 😊xx
I'm sitting here thinking.....LOL!
I can't place that tune!
Getting old stinks!
Cheers
Terry
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag . . ." Lovely, Michael. Oh dear, the dust all over the Chateau - UGH. The kitchen is going to be so lovely. The tiny glimpse from yesterday's video of your kitchen in the gardener's cottage proves your skill and eye for beauty.
Found myself singing along.
Chim Chim Cher-Ee might have been a bit more on topic...
OMG, I remember crying during that song in the movie ? Feed the birds song 😭🥰❣️
@@ce1581I did, as well.
I can’t wait to see Michael’s cottage again!
The original floor is gorgeous! I am so glad it has stayed so well.
Absolutely love the yellowish color. It will stand out beautifully with the blue-green steel. The kitchen will be absolutely beautiful!
Is there anything Michael can not do? He is blessed to be so, so talented, sweet And handsome
Put the Olive Tree on the Terrace at the Chateau………….Please on behalf of the Olive Tree 🤔🤣
Pretty sure Billy said this was an indoor olive tree.
Billy said if it didn't do well inside, they'd move it outside.
@@happygrandma5637 It looks beautiful in the kitchen and as Billy said, there is a lot of light coming in from the large windows... on both sides of the room. Also, it's not far from the door to the courtyard, it can be opened to let in even more light, with the option of moving the tree outdoors. That huge kitchen needs a very large green plant. 😊
Yes! I think a fig leaf fig (ficus lyrata) would be better for the convent. The kitchen there needs something with a thinner, more graceful form.
Martin is amazing.
And so nice to see the Petherick brothers teasing each other.
Our sons are 35 yo & almost 40 yo & definitely tease each other.
So sorry your weekend will be spent cleaning
Yanis’s feverish work style lends itself perfectly to chipping those calcium deposits off the tiles. Great job everyone!
Yannis has become a great worker and his charming personality is showing up now that he is more confident in himself. You are a treasure, Yannis!
@@susiekay1950 he sure has!
The kitchen at the Convent & the kitchen at the Chateau .. they’re both going to look stunning 🥰
I just love Michael’s sparkly eyes and him narrating these videos!😊
Love Michael's piano playing ❤
The chateau kitchen is starting to come together. The convent kitchen looks great.
So exciting to watch. Love Michael is so involved. Always enjoyed listening to him explain what was going on. He is such a natural.
Just love to see Michael and Billy together.
Beautiful floor, great presentation and impressive camera work, well done, guys!
Loved the little tinkle on the piano, great job
The kitchen tiles look like the beautiful yellow & red bedrooms you just finished! I can’t believe how amazing the basement kitchen looks after the sandblasting! 😍
Billy’s convent Kitchen is a fab warm up to the Chateau Kitchen coming back alive project!! lol
It’s really Nice, Billy. Gwen must be SO pleased for her future events.❤
I do love the music choices from the Blue Danube to Disney. The kitchen looks miles better. What an amazing transformation.
Great now I have feed the birds playing over and over in my head now, bloody tuppence a bag! 🕊️🕊️🐦⬛🕊️🕊️👵🏼🕊️🕊️🐦⬛🦅🕊️🕊️🦤🪙🪙 👂🏼🪱 love and friendship from Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Swan Lake (which I danced to many, many decades ago.
& Tuppence!!
Wonder how many of my fellow US folks recognized Tuppence.?
Hi, I remember Feed the Birds. My Sister and I always would sing that song from our childhood days. Connecticut, United States 🇺🇸
Michael played "Feed the Birds". Walt Disney's favorite tune.
The tiles look a lovely colour. No need to change the colour. Once you have all the woodwork from the old plans, I think you'll find it all fits in. The only thing now will be to get the lighting right. You'll do as you have great ideas and vision for how it will look. I love your videos. Big Hugs and best wishes Anne in France.😍🤗
It's getting exciting. That floor is amazing. 😊🏴
Whoop whoop 🎉 what a difference .
Well done Martin
Oh the dust! I feel for you. What an added job!
The kitchen is coming along rather quickly. Can't wait for next week.❤👍💕🙏💕👍🙏
How exciting to see the kitchen awakening. It must be so exciting to be involved in such work.I'm so glad Michael and Billy work and tease each other.Would love to see the Gardners cottage inside again.
You brothers are really funny together. Happy days.
Love British humor, Michel will do an excellent job of the Chateau kitchen, just like Billy did at the Convent. They certainly have the touch! Love the floor color too.
if my home got that full of dust, and was that big, i would absolutely take a min to feel sorry for myself. lolol
Love that we are seeing so much of Michael lately! Billy, you and Michael make a great team!
Already beautiful...what a vision you have. Micheal I love when you're involved on camera! Billy, where are you? Rick, love having you you visible too!! Dancing to Blue Danube with my phone!
Love hearing Michael play!
Wow what a beautiful golden hue on the floor. Love the brotherly dynamic.
Thanks to you all. Have a wonderful weekend.
How exciting to see what those tiles really look like after so many years of hiding their natural beauty! Thanks for giving us that little sneak-peek ahead of time! So sorry that the door was accidentally left open and the Chateau is so covered in dust!! What a job! Wish I could come and give you a hand with that, but I'm just a bit far away here in the USA! And I do agree, that olive tree would probably love a place on the Chateau terrace! It seems a bit big for the convent kitchen, and not much sunlight that olive trees love and thrive in! We lived in sunny California for many years, and they do love their sunshine!
Michael, your piano playing is so beautiful, PLEASE let us hear more of it in the videos!!!
Seems everything the Pethricks touch turns to gold. Miss Billys face but It's so nice to have Michael smiling face😊 again. Yes, we are selfish wanting to see him & all of the Pethricks for our daily dose of joy. Love hearing Michael playing piano. My hear sings when I hear it. Blessings for abundance for all. ❤❤❤
Michael is very entertaining ❤
Can't wait to see the kitchen transformation ❤
Love the piano music
Original tiles with the Osmos is amazing. Michael is doing such a wonderful job in front of the camera. The longer the stronger he will become in front of the camera. 😊
Oh my, it's beautiful.already. what a treasure.
Hello EVERYONE! What a transformation the sandblasting has done, also, the tiles look so different when treated! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
it's very enjoyable to watch Michael animate your videos, gives you a break from being on the screen and he is so knowledgeable about so many things
Looking great thank you Michael and Billy 😊
The kitchen is going to be amazing. I can imagine the possibilities of having the space at the convent & at the chateau to host all sorts of events.
Looking forward to the chateau renovation! Love it when Michael is on the videos. Happy Weekend and happy dusting. Sorry that happened.
Michael between you and me, I don't think that tree should be inside, it is way too big for inside
Agree. It looks out of place. Maybe better in the reception area.
That is a tree that needs desperately to be in the ground. The size of the trunk indicates that it's stuffed into a pot that can barely contain a minimal root system. PLEASE give the tree the kind of home it deserves, with its roots in the earth. It will die in a pot inside.
these older tiles are probably more porous, because of the sand blasting, looks lovely with the osmo on it
The Perhericks have such a great sense of style and unbelievable vision. Everything you renovate turns out so beautiful. I love watching your channel. Never a waste of time.
I would not change a thing about the floor tiles--perfection. A WORKING kitchen will not be perfect.
Love the song from Mary P' Film. Love watching how you are restoring both buildings.
Wowzer the floor is fabulous!! Nice sad music 🎶 for the dust 😢
Wow can almost picture Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke singing !!!! Charming !!! Kitchen is going to be beautiful!!
Wow, what a transformation this will be when finished! Amazing seeing it come along every step of the way, so exciting! 😊
This channel has really developed lately, and I can’t get enough of it. I love the format with Billy behind the camera and Michael in front. Watching is a feast for the senses
Absolutely beautiful. ❤️
Oh! The kitchen floor is beautiful! This is so exciting! Love Michael’s piano recital! The kitchen will be stunning!
Wow Michael on the piano. I closed my eyes and listened, beautiful
It looks amazing! Can't wait to see the progress! ❤
A sad little tune for the dust lol, you are a legend Michael.
Well done Martin. Have a great weekend everyone. X😊
Floors gonna look superb guys. Doing a great job, now where’s the duster! Stay well.
What a lovely man Martin is.
'Play a little tune, just for the dust', just love Michael! x
The old kitchen is so nice and big" downstairs there reminds me of Dowton Abby Vibe big time I hope you all will bring more of the downstairs back to life... an not just for storage purposes....
With the office area and all the rooms down there
Billy, you all are doing a wonderful job, all will be so beautiful, as is your filming! So so nice to hear Michael play!!
Love the fireplace in the kitchen!!
Love the colour of the tile.❤
It's coming together so fast ! Love it 😊
Your all doing an amazing job, it all looks fantastic.
Well done to you all and I love how your keeping it all original 👍
I see the beauty in the tiles andclooking forward to more.
Love Micheal playing the piano
The floor has a similar design to the one in the convent kitchen 🥰
That scour machine Michael used on his cottage floor might work on the chateau kitchen floor. Michael’s came up fab.
I see that many people have commented about the song 🎵 and I enjoyed it as well 😀
What can’t Michael do he is a talented artist he plays piano he restores love him❤
So very beautiful...lovely piano playing Michael!!!
The tiles will be beautiful and now you can see what they will be like you can gauge what shades you need for any other paint work. It is coming along really well. Great to see Michael in his element, creating.
The rusty red color is very pretty. It will be interesting to see the final results. it is a joy to see/hear Michael and Billy working together on their projects. Can't wait to see the finished kitchen as it comes together.
And so she is revealed, shed of her mantle of dust and decay leaving us bedazzled. Lovely job!
Looovvvee that kitchen floor chaps. Its gorgeous. ❤❤❤
it’s so disappointing not seeing the library coming to life. This was a great little peak at the floor today. How amazingly talented is Michael
The floor is going to be stunning ❤ what a talented family ❤ and friends ! Rick Yanis Martin! The whole gang ❤
No offense, Billy, but I'm loving Michael's newfound confidence as a video host. His talent is blooming. And your warm narration at the front is lovely. Maybe in a few months we can have Yannis host in French with English subtitles? We are in "rural France" after all!
The tiles look so different but nice.
The music is gorgeous Billy 👏👏loved feed the birds by Michael , it’s all sooooo relaxing. You’re all doing an amazing job. Xxx💕💕💕
Can you imagine the gossip that was had in that kitchen by the servants? The stories would fill volumes. lol :)
The first music you played was The Blue Danube by Strauss! I got to hear the Detroit Philharmonic play it! It was spectacular!
Love the way the floor tiles in the kitchen in the convent have the same little diamond tile as in the Chateau kitchen floor 😊
I love the color of the tiles. That lovely golden tile will look great with wood cabinets! Thanks for the music, Michael. I do love me some Mary Poppins!
Wow Michael! Love it! Absolutely! Piano piece brillant! Thank you!
