yeah the more I think about it the more I'm vibing with the duo option. I definitely think solo should always be an option but being able to play with a friend on the same team against other duos online whereas other fighting games only allow you to play against each other I think is going to be huge.
If forced snaps become a thing in this game, I hope it will be in the form of character specific mechanics, like a Blitzcrank and/or Tresh super move. They toss the point character offscreen and pull the tag partner, locking down assists for 4~8 seconds or something along these lines.
Game looks sick but imo too difficult. I love marvel but MvCI and Power rangers BFTG are the two most punishing vs. Games I've ever played and this is essentially emulating those

Oh, and Warwick would be dope. I feel like he could be a really solid rushdown character. Really hoping for him.
I love how it already has team tournaments set up as you can coop standard. I mean Project L has it's own Combo Breaker event as you can have 1v1, 1v1 DBFZ/ UMvC mode and 2v2 like Tekken Tag 2 all from one game but three separate Top 8's; be kinda sick ngl
these matches are looking pretty sick! i tried the demo at evo and tagging was hard for me to wrap my head around, but the game itself felt really nice. hope to get more of it soon! personally, my worry for the roster is that they're gonna stick to most of the "average human" kinda characters. i'm hoping for more of the "out-there" champions like Bard, Bel'veth, Kog'maw, Naafiri, Urgot, Tahm Kench... sticking with more humanoid champions, i'd definitely like to see Gragas, Rell, or Renata Glasc in some form!

Ekko is such a solid character already. I wonder if the Devs ever looked at how Ekko plays/fights in the game Convrgence. If they haven’t they can get some really interesting stuff from his movelist in that game. For example, Timewinder in that game when thrown does multiple hits and lingers when thrown. After a second or two it comes back to Ekko no matter where he is on the screen (and also he can hit the timewinder on the way back to send it back out). Just that difference alone would create some some interesting timewinder setups…combine that with Ekko’s rewind special. Sheesh
They said they wanted to showcase characters who are about 90% done for the demo. It's deep in development so maybe they'll add new tools, but I would hazard a guess that these champions are mostly done and they're gonna focus on designing as many new characters as possible. That said, one of his lv 1 supers does exactly that if you watch far enough.

Udyr would be a no brainer for this game. Tiger stance for most of your damaging combos, Turtle for defense and utility, Bear for mobility (and maybe armor with his new passive enhanced E? either stick it to a "charging forward" move like Potemkin Hammerfall or just leave that armor biz for Turtle) and Phoenix for setups, ranged attacks or some "aura" move. Passive can go something like "after X amount of hits after a stance change, your next special has better properties" and so on. Good luck balancing that lol but 'tis be the time for brainstorming, isn't it?

Every time I see this game I can't believe how good it looks. In a sea of dumbed down fighters, Project L ramps up everything in the best possible way.
"Sea" LOL. There are hardcore, complex fighters out there; you just don't play them.
