It's called "technology". Not much difference between a martial arts eye poke or creating a magic burst of light to blind someone comparative to shining a bright light from a powerful flashlight in someone's face. Disorientation techniques comes in various forms.

Shang Tsung getting the ability to not only use his opponents Fatal Blow but also their FATALITIES has spiked my already high interest in the character up to 11. I might pocket him JUST so I can pull him out when salty people demand runbacks and listen to them crush their dualsense in their hands as I hit them with shapeshift mixups.

i think fighting games need to further embrace open mic technology. it should activate when you get counter hit while you were mashing your jabs, it should activate when you lose the round cos the other guy did a wakeup super and killed you, it should activate when the wifi connection drops to 1 bar... the possibilities are endless
Bro i watched 44 minutes of this and it was sick the whole time. It didnt even feel like that much. And then the combos were kind of ridiculous towards the end.
Honestly the only part about this game that I don't really like is making me hesitant to pick it up (besides me only having Switch) is the fact there's currently no crossplay. If a niche anime game like Granblue or even an indie game like TFH, have crossplay at launch, this should of had it the moment it was announced
