    People keep using the "MOBAs are easier to learn because you can blame it on teammates" thing, but I think it's the exact opposite for me. When I get destroyed in a fighter, I go "wow I'm so bad I suck at this" but it's all internalized and it's gone 1 minute after the match ends. The only person I could piss off by being bad is /maybe/ my opponent, if they're tired of fighting a bad player?
    For MOBAs, if I get bodied, everyone else on the team has a worse game. My mistakes directly contribute to 4 other people having a worse time, they're stuck with you for 20-60 minutes, and they won't hesitate to express that. Fighting games are easier to learn because the only person flaming you is yourself.

    "if someone did this to me in a match I would unplug my console and rage quit."
    Prime example as to why this type of person plays league to blame others for being garbage at the game themselves over playing a fighting game. It's the sad reality of many who plays games, they just don't have the patience and will to reflect on what they did wrong so they'd rather throw a baby tantrum and divert the blame to a teammate. Which again, I believe is actually part of the reason why team games like league are so popular. They accommodate this kind of mindset and it's sad.

    • @AriyanK0091
      @AriyanK0091 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Blaming your teammates is literally looked down upon even in the MOBA community. It's literally an example of a scrubquote. It's really bizarre how people generalize a whole playerbase on a stereotype. Just like in every online competitive game, some people will complain about the dumbest shit, but there will also be people that recognize those complaints aren't valid. Just because a game has something players can complain about doesn't mean it "accommodates this kind of mindset".

    • @bruhyote132
      @bruhyote132 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AriyanK0091 I'm actually not generalizing at all believe it or not. I played league for 2 years, I'm aware its got certain players that will immediately call out these morons on their bullshit mid match. What I am saying is that people with the tendency to be sore losers about being bad at whatever tend to flock towards something like league instead of playing something requiring considerably more skill since they can always shift the blame to the infinite situations that game can put you in.
      My feelings towards that community isn't me blowing hot air, I've tried to look past all the horrible matches I've been in where people can't stop acting like they're the hottest shit where everything they say is right and no one can tell them otherwise or else they int. But alas, the "good matches" I've had most definitely do not out-weigh the ones where everyone has the most garbage attitude and are constantly at each other's throats for the entirety of the match instead of just shutting the fuck up and focusing on the game.
      If I was lying about most of the community being like this you wouldn't hear so many people criticize it for that very aspect alone. So I chose to quit instead of dealing with the majority of that game's player base. I'll stick to games where people are aware that they need to fix their mistakes because they have no one else to blame but themselves.
