There’s a couple of things that I need to point out in Raiden's fight against metal gear Ray, Standard metal gear rays are about 60ms tall and 750 tonnes, the one Raiden fought was custom body fitted with Carbon nanotubing, thus making it far lighter and faster than its original version, though this would allow the MG to carry a lot more ammunition than its counterpart as well thus bringing the weight to 750 tonnes minimum (could carry more weight potentially), this ultimately means that when overclocked, Raiden can lock blades with a MGR and then suplex it dozens of metres into the air. If I had a nickel for everytime a robot ninja suplexed a Metal Gear I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but I'm actually glad it happened twice
@@pbrn2533 ah I see your a man of culture as well hear have some almond brittle my fellow Phineas and Ferb fan
Suplexing a train ain't enough.
Suplexing Metal Gears is where it's at!
And that's only as a cyborg. Don't forget that Raiden took on 25 metal gear Ray units in Arsenal Gear all at once
Yeeting armstrong into a piele of metal
Well Raiden stopped a giant battle ship from crushing Snake with both hands tied behind his back.
In one of the codec calls in the first mission, Doktor says, that Raiden's body converts the force that is applied to it, making it its own. Before throwing both Ray and Exelus, Raiden first blocked the attack.
That means that usually Raiden isn't that strong
and what about the giant ship he stopped then?
@@Ivaylodr5 blocked the ship then used that force to push against it maybe?
I dunno. Having him be strong as shit sounds cooler
@@Mate_Antal_Zoltan if his body converts force exerted on him to make the energy his own, then he's always strong. Say a force of 100 tons is pushing him. The force of that would be converted to his energy. He wouldn't need to block. Blocking would require him to exert a equal or greater force which would make him "naturally" strong.
With an HF blade, it’s not really that important is it?
@@archangel9727 right but it probably doesn't apply to normal force, so him pushing a stationary object would mean that he's less strong.
Raiden is the coolest character I ever played with
what about the storm that is approaching
@@canitalian4311 the only thing i know for real is the cool brazilian wind.
What about Sam
@@gannielukks1811 nah he's gay
what about alex mercer?
@ 19:23, talking about his wigs for Revengeance, I noticed the "Ripper Mode" wig is useless, since the "Infinite Blade Mode" blue wig does the same thing, it doesn't allow "Ripper Mode" to be depleted, as well as infinite blade mode, unless it was fixed, it still should be this way. I'm gonna replay it and see!
"Rising isn't canon to the main story-"
I'll ignore that
Same lol
There will never be another swordsmaster as good as Sam. He was barely enhanced, and Raiden barely beat him, with HEAVY augment usage, and on top of that Sam, was a better swordsman, which automatically makes him the best in the franchise.
Probably he achieved god-level status in japanese swordsmanship, probably even better than Miyamoto Musashi. He was blessed by Hachiman.
he also has better sword tho-
Really well done vid. Great emphasis on his skills via VR. Shame that Chico concept art isnt canon, cause genes(and "possibly" parasites) could have been more of an influence on Raiden's abilities than we'd think.
Care to explain more
@@carso1500 cant since its not canon. Ppl just lean on their own speculations. Chico Peace Walker: "when I grow up, I wanna be a Hunter" gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/681794-metal-gear-solid-v-the-phantom-pain/69817030
Honestly, Kojima can’t tell us if Rising is cannon or not. Everyone knows we all count it as cannon.
Excellent material. I am a huge fan of Raiden, no matter what others are saying. He is my favourite Metal Gear character of all time. Sure, I like Solid Snake but Raiden deserves in my book more attention. Kudos for such analysis.
Thanks for crediting my tunes!
They are god tier, man. Couldn't do it without them.
I want him in Smash bros. There’s a icon for him in SU so it’s possible.
Just go play PS all stars (a smash bros clone with PlayStation characters), he’s in there and lots of fun to play
@@nemesisfilms4942 that’s not the same. The mgs series needs some love and he would be an awesome addition. Hell STEVE is in it😭
Raiden is practically set for smash. He has high potential in his moveset, some great music, and 2 potential stages (Desperado rooftop, Excelsus ruins)
PlayStation all stars back on ps3 and he was broken as fuck in that roster
Heh, if Raiden is REALLY that strong, why did I die 128 times in mgs2??? Checkmate. (Good video!!!)
You were in a simulation. We all were.
Me who uses cheats, 😌😏
If you didnt know, the blade mode wig is obsolete if you get infinite wig b. With infinite fuel cells your jack the ripper mode is also infinite
I clicked on this and watched it and said damn this is a great video.. Then I saw 560 subscribers. 4k views. And 50 comments and said.. This is the most underrated thing ive ever looked and interacted with in my entire lifetime and will continue to be that way for the rest of existince as we know it.
It's not always about views or subscribers
@@MegaSolidninja true that
Can I say that the ending was edited brilliantly.
I think the only reason Kojima recognized Rising as some alternate future is to both provide himself some safety incase purist stealth fans wouldn't mess with the game so much and as respect to the character of Raiden who's supposed to have a peaceful life after the mgs4's events.
Damn that mgs horn music teared me up when he was giving that speech to raiden
I thought it said 732k but no! Less than 1k subs. Great production quality for a channel this small. I hope your channel the best man!
Thanks so much!
You know what's funny how Death Battles tries to downplay Raiden a lot.
deathbattle is full of shit anyway, their analysis is almost always purposely inaccurate so they can make a more controversial video giving them more views
@@hyperwatch721 not to mention they’re biased af
@@Kaosxca biased agaisnt who?
@@hyperwatch721 explain yourself, because they alway give us their sources and they take care of nor always to pick the "strongest" of heroes like superman to make a fair fight
@@mariano98ify Sure, but even if they give their sources it doesn't mean they stick to them. They take two characters, throw in some half-assed calculations and make the one who will cause more uproar win. They've always done that
I have a theory that MGS VR missions is canon, you're just playing as Raiden during his VR training
They say the same thing in this video.
I dont think that was dodging a railgun blast more like knowing its gonna happen considering its telegraphed so moved
No meme about “Nanomachines, son!”, guess you’re getting a dislike 🤷🏽♀️
how dare u jk dislike though radian is cool
here NANO MACHINES SON there yyo meme lol

@Danni Chesney
Bruh it’s literally a joke.
@@Zonex_Haven Not going to happen, he was in PlayStation All Stars.
That VR Training theory with Ghost Babel is pretty interesting. Would be a very clever way to sort of connect the non-canon games with the mainline installments. 🤔
I appreciate the detail in the stats. Great video!
I wish this was recommended to me when it got uploaded.. Such a great video, keep it up
This is all really amazing when given the additional context that raiden is supposed to be the player, almost. Not in as direct a way venom was, however.
Vergil **sees Raiden** :
_What form of power is this?_
Devil trigger might not be fast enough if Raiden wear his blue wig that day
Nano-Motivation son. It increases in response to epic soundtracks.
This man can swing his sword at over 1340 times Earths escape velocity.
man, you are so underated, i really hope this channel will get more subs cuz ya deserves it man
Well seeing as how he can suplex nuke wielding skyscraper sized robots like nothing and ripped off excelsus' building sized sword, DUELED IT AND SLASHED IT INTO BITS AT ABOUT THE SAME SPEED AS WITH HIS HF BLADE ID SAY HES PRETTY GOD DAMN POWERFUL
But can he beat Goku?
Only 8k subs??? Your content can be scaled in the 1 mil sub content creator level. I’m on a binge, love your vids man.
I can't believe people would even compare Genji to him
Thanks for this one bro, Raiden is one of my favorite characters
Base Raiden with Skull Suit is still my favourite :)
Raiden clearing out the hallway in MGS4 is one of the coldest sequences in gaming
Don't forget was able to beat nanomachined Armstrong, who has been shown to hit the ground so hard he can cause an miniature earthquake so deep is speews magma, and because we don't see any volcanos or culderas near the final fight arena, it's possible that he's getting this magma from the mantel of the earth, which no human has ever been known to dig into, and is around 10km (6.214 miles), with a single punch, and is able to do it multiple times, has twice the heath of EXCELSUS, one of the larger machines in the games, was able to survive dozens of blows from Riden's and Sam's high frequency and improved high frequency blades, and also every other boss wepon, is able to throw large chunks of EXCELSUS, and could survive for a bit with his heart ripped out of his chest, implying who could have put it back in and maybe heal fully
14:15 but that attack potency is due largely in part to being able to carry multiple stinger missiles on one’s person with virtually no hindrance
In conclusion: I’m getting into Metal Gear, and Raiden is my favorite character.
Snake >>>
YYOOOOOOO I really like your style of edition, You Are Pretty Good
Powerfull enough to CUT A METAL GEAR RAY WITH A SWORD
this is like Death Battle but BETTER. the presentation is insane.. time to binge
You forgot to mention that our boy is so painfully thicc he can seduce any enemy
Raiden is one of the many characters who have a story just as of even more tragic than the life of big boss u gotta love this guy for all he's been thro not to mention saving the world from an insane senator

@@CRISIS_COMICS Is that actually what happened? holy shit I had no idea.
I want to point out that Raiden didn't just lift the weight of these metal gears. He swung them from their limbs. The lever effect makes each metal gear much MUCH heavier than their mass alone.

@@darthhorizon1735 I agree
Snake: your body maybe a machine, but your heart is still human

Still a shame that Solid Rising's story was scrapped for Revengence's. Would've loved to see what happened to Raiden between MGS2 and 4 with him getting his cybernetics (especially since it was barely touched upon in Guns of the Patriots).
Meh, i think rising is the best fucking game in the series.
Wouldn't replace it ever.
I love Revengeance. I wish we could have had both games, still. I'll always be interested in Solid Rising's story.
But hey with the more techno focused setting, we got some bomb ass music.
Subscribed based off of your intro edit, superb work 🙏🏼
I would kill a man if it means I get to play Raiden in Ultimate.
PLEASE!! I NEED THAT IMAGE OF RAIDEN YOU USED ON THE THUMBNAIL!
This deserve more views!
Raiden is just a killing machine. In MGS2 he just supressed his urges and hoped to live a happy live but that does not happen on the battlefield. In MGS4 he become mental and in the future (MGS Revengeance) he let it rip again.

How Powerful is Sam Porter Bridges?
This is a really good video and I like the edit to…and this explain a lot about raiden to me because I don’t really watch and research enough about raiden

bro how tf is Sam so strong, just to have the bone density to be able to withstand his muscles contracting so hard to compete with Raiden while almost entirely human is mind blowing, let alone the strength.
Dude took down an MG whos water canon was replaced with a high tech laser with nothing but a sword. He's pretty strong
The RAYs have plasma cannons, not lasers
