Something fun i want to add about the "Play 10 stages in Grand Bruise" You don't even need to "play" the stages, if you get disqualified even in the first round, you can just spectate the next rounds and it will count towards that mission
Man I’m just tired of every game having a battle pass. I’m glad it doesn’t seem to be terribly grindy but as someone who isn’t the best at fighting games; it is unfortunate. Of course I’m still gonna try to get that Narmaya skin though.
Honestly that’s completely understandable I’m also in the same boat as someone who plays way too many live service games but at the very least the challenges they want you to do are just playing matches, spending meter and using the games mechanics. The first game would force you to get wins as specific characters for its battle pass I hated that.
@@KasualZenkai Yeah that’s what turned me off from the battle pass in the first game. I’m pretty sure I did a few of them but I didn’t like being forced to learn a character I didn’t enjoy playing as. This is a step in the right direction though.
honestly, i bought granblue like a week ago, dog at fighting games as well. but i did all of my missions, they are NOT hard at all. And the pass itself is very easy, especially the fact that it's been 3 days since the pass and i'm already level 28, due to the weekly and standard missions.
Kinda hoped the colors would be cooler, considering we pay for it. As you said, it 100% depends on a person. I main Narmaya and Vira so I bought it immidiately but the only useful things for me are the rupies and the skin itself. Its not too pricey but I wish I would get a bit more from it.
This is pretty damn good for $6 considering other fighting games would charge that much for just a skin and nothing else. Shit sf6 was charging $15 for a lobby AVATAR skin with nothing else. Yeah this is a good deal

I don't see how is that a problem. They can release it at a marked-up price, or release it much much later than the battle pass is over, so the battle pass owner not only gets better value but also gets to experience it much earlier. From a player's (as a group, not as an individual) POV, it will always be beneficial to make battle pass items purchasable later, so new players don't get gated just because they joined too late.
I'm willing to bet that the costumes from the battle passes will make their way into the Rupie Shop later on in the special content section, like you can even buy DLC characters there so I think they will but the costumes there as well
If going to user only one character that it's not Worth just get that character you want to buy separate about the costumes if you play on pc you can download mods for it that most like will never comes to the game

Im buying GBVSR DX today and Im asking if I need to subscribe to Playstation Plus to access the Battle Pass and that if its necessary to purchase the Premium and purchase levels forward? I can see that PS Plus is required on Online Play and Battle Pass is asking for Online Matches… so no grinding for me.
I just really don't like paywalled content on games I already paid full price for. The game is $100 in my country for the deluxe edition and having to pay even more for a premium pass feels really wrong. I understand season passes to keep the game supported year over year but throwing a bp on top of that is too much for me to justify
actually it IS a censored version of the original Black Butterfly with the main difference being that the bikini bottom is covered by shorts and the boots
So when the time to grind the battle pass is over, what will become of the alternate skins? Can we buy it separately or is this just another case of fomo?

How did you get lvl 55 battle pass? I did every challenge in just an hour also but i only got lvl 23 and even after doing the daily challenges for the last couple of days, it only went up to lvl 28...
Idk if y bought it yet, but it’s on sale on steam rn, 6 dollars for the pass, around 21 dollars for every tier, but there’s only 2 days left. If u do the weekly’s as he says and if does give 30 tiers for a single session it should be around 19 dollars for the battle pass + extra 30 tiers you’ll need
Is it more or less grindy than Fortnite? I got Level 120 in a week on newest update GBVS Versus will likely take 2 weeks to complete. Fortnite might be the longer grind but I can grind as much as I want and therefore it can be finished in lesser days. But Granblue once the seasonal and weekly is done there only the daily’s. 40 days to only need to play 2 weeks isn’t bad
I’d say less grindy than Fortnite but since GBVSR is time gated by the daily challenges GBVSR in theory could take longer depending on how much Fortnite you play
