My idea with him is sure use his abilities in a combo, but it will just take you longer if you desire to make full use of his CD's. I normally would go for fuzzy's with his projectiles, and combo grabs off confirms. It will make oki's after combos and willingness to use his CD's more efficiently. While his strong normals makes up for it until you are at least past sword lvl 2.
