Tip for medical workers:
I got hit by a drunk driver last December, and had to go to the emergency room. The nurse looked at me like she was disgusted with me, as if I caused the accident. To this day I'm still having to go through physical therapy, and injections in my spine because of it. Please never assume anything because someone is young and got in a car accident. It's not always our fault.
How are you now?
Although I can't speak for your particular nurse, most of the time we are disgusted by what HAPPENS to people, not the people themselves. I can't tell you how many times I've had patients who were slammed into by drunk drivers while stopped at a red light, and they come in with their brains were coming out of their ears or the side of their head.

There is a saying in first aid 'least noise - most attention.'
If someone is afraid of suffocating (say airway obstruction - kid ate a marble etc) when they are talking, crying, coughing - air is coming both in and out. It may still be obstructed but not completely. If they are quiet - that's when you need to run!

Priceless.
Fun fact: regarding the John Wick fall... it’s not CG.
His stunt man actually took that fall, although he was wearing a lot of padding and The props he’s crashing into are also padded and meant to give a bit. He’s also on a wire to slightly slow down certain parts of the fall. Of course it was well choreographed. However, watching the behind the scenes of the real fall on set, it looks just about as bad as it does in the movie. Still very surprised the stunt man came out uninjured.
