I always laugh at comments like this If they keep doing that that means that they are still making a buck Sooo people are still buying Sooo they don't have to change anything People are still gonna buy new cod and fifa
AAA gaming is such a dystopia now. Buy the game (normal), pay for a subscription to play online, pay for the battle pass, now pay for another subscription.
you mean AAAA atleast activsion and ea dont outright kill games for no reason even though some of their sales tactics are kinda bs but thats just business to them
Some AAA titles will have DRM so even if you paid full price you don't really own the game ( cough CAPCOMcoughcough) Some others are online games, you DO NOT own those games. Yeah, just buy on GOG if you really wants to own a game, or sail the high sea if you truly believe that game you bought deserves it. If you buy disc for your console, read the box carefully, it might requires an internet connection to install the game, as in the dics contains an incomplete version of the game, so you truly do not own that game at all. Get DRM suckers.
@@slapp3r439Well Activision is the worst if it comes to microtansactions, remember that you have to pay 80 bucks for a new COD only for it to have a battle pass and a damn ingame shop included. They also shut down Warzone 1 a while back and the people who paid for skins mainly because of Warzone 1 can only use them in the horrific normal multiplayer of MW 2019. EA also stopped two devs from fixing their broken PC releases, Jedi Survivor and Wild Hearts.
“Our company is about to go under because we make shit games, so let’s squeeze as much money out of the old good ones that people still play” , such a shame that something celebrated needs to turn into a money pig.
Whenever I hear the word "plus(+)" in ANYTHING, I automatically get annoyed. Disney+ wasn't that bad starting out, then every company came after with a damn plus. Tired of it.
They almost didn't, Epic games bailed them out a couple years back when they were on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. But now egs is going down so Ubi is back to trying to float on their own.
If we're talking about MW2 it was 150 headshots for red tiger and 250 for autumn. I used to put on a thermal scope and hardscope like crazy specifically aiming for the head every game I played just to get those camos. I would probably only average like 12 headshots a game and place near the bottom of the scoreboard for the 20-30 games it would take so it felt pretty good when you had the autumn camo and could resume going for quick scopes. Whats funny is doing that would be easier now because playing that badly for so long would reverse-boost you into really terrible lobbies making it easier to get the headshots.
"When does your game continue to be game, instead of being a fucking shopping mall" - muta 2024. Beautifully perfect quote to capture the modern era of gaming
Mutahar is getting what he deserves after supporting live services. This is what he gets for saying live services can be good. He didn't vote with his time and money. He made this bed by promoting that which he claimed to be against.
Simple, when people pay for their entertainment. If the game itself was a membership, it would be simple, pay x amount a year, ubisoft makes their revenue, we get good value entertainment, ubisoft doesn't need to go hard on monetisation then. Instead the community is full of people who've spent a tenner to buy the game once, that then demand new content every three months a decade in and complain that its getting stale and is monetised so much. CoD costs £60 a year, fifa £60 a year, AC £60 every 2 years, BF £60 every few years. I could have spent £40 on siege in 2015 and never put a penny in more. Of course it's going to be monetised to shit
whats crazy is that cheaters are running freely on all platforms, elo glitching, so many bugs and messed up animations, but lets get a subscription service for them. ridiculous
@estsidedemonthere’s a way on console to crash everyone on the other teams game so they forfeit the match to you in ranked. Its been a bug for the entirety of this season yet has not been addressed.
Ubisoft is a company where if they went bankrupt I'd slightly cheer and hope what little talent works there gets grabbed by someone else. I truly believe this company is a blight to gaming. They push nothing but bad idea's that's harmful to customers.
Exactly, Nintendo discourages creativity due to shutting down fangames and Sony discourages commitment and player trust with the Helldivers 2 and Sekiro region bans. Microsoft is just a mid machine in comparison.
My biggest problem with this game is that when Playstation added the Premium version of PS Plus, which acted like a psuedo game pass because it gave you several games for free with the upgraded subscription, it literally ripped the game from my library despite me having paid full price for it back in 2017. I'm not going to pay extra for a service to play a game that I owned for 5 years and certainly not going to pay full price a second time either.
They see all those players with 500+ hours and decide to monetize the dedicated player base. The executives are so out of touch with reality all they are going to do is drive players away. The players who buy the membership are going to feel bad when they start failing to matchmake or keep getting matched against the same players as the player count plummets.
been that way for years in higher elos at least. cant tell you how many people used to be on a “first alias basis” if you will. it was almost like playing 10 mans 😂. glad i moved on from siege. although i do miss it
"Quadruple A" gaming, where every game is a "live service"(unfinished) game and has a subscription service tacked onto it, on top of the many subscription services you're already paying for stuff like PS+, Ubi+, Netflx, etc. etc., and you don't own a damn thing. The future of gaming, everyone.
My bf has spent so much money on this game on skins alone. He loves exchanging stuff in their store. I will never understand why skins cost so much money…
@@muddybrige5590it’s more the fact that there are people willing to pay such astronomical prices. I understand why people want them, but you don’t really get the proper bang for your buck
I used to be big into Siege, would hop on every day after work for a few hours, played with my best mate, got some sick TKs on him, and this was all in 2019. The game was phenomenal. Then in 2020 he passed away, I stopped playing so frequently and hopped on one day with some other friends and my word being a South African siege player was really terrible. Servers were so limited, the player pool was small, no way of changing location without a VPN and when you did change you have high ping and get kicked almost immediately. So I quit again and now seeing this it hurts me seeing a game franchise I loved so much being nothing more than a money grab for Ubislop.
Reminds me of fallout 76. Their subscription is $100 a year and they lock something really important behind it. Infinite storage for resources. I just stopped playing the game after that. It feels so awful
It costs money to run online servers. It costs money to store the data for each person that plays and you have to keep that data in perpetuity. You all cry so much but you spend literally zero effort to understand the costs behind the free service youre enjoying.
@@John-mn1bp I dont even play 76. Its called being a reasonable and rational adult. While were at it you want to go ahead and make me 50 samdwiches and a few heads of mead wouldnt you? I mean. Ive already paid taxes so im obviously entitled to more of everyone elses kitchen
I used to be a recruit main because I didn't really care about any of the operators and their ability. That's ubislop ❤
@@logangant7732 first year WAS peak. The game really alienated me and my friend group when the operators stopped being operators and they started ruining all the release maps that people had built such fun memories on. The last season I played was when that bald chick came out with an electric shield. That's not why we quit at all, but it does summarize nicely how much the game changed
I see Ubisoft has taken notes from Rockstar Games with a subscription service. Even though i don't play Rainbow Six Siege, this will back fire like all Ubisoft nonsense.
It won’t backfire at all. For some insane reason Ubisoft keep making record profits. How a game as boring as Assassins Creed Valhalla can sell well over 20 million copies is beyond me.
@@EnterTheSoundscapeUbisoft is making over 50% of their profit from Siege tho. I agree Assassins Creed sold way better than it should, but even then it was only 30% of their profits last year. A large majority of their player base is on siege, due mostly to the games resurgence recently, but looking at SteamCharts their player base has more than halved since its peak in February. This is a desperate attempt to keep their cash cow milking, and it’ll probably work for the short-term. The issue now is how they handle the game with all this new money, asking for a monthly subscription while adding less and less content to the game will eventually turn everybody away, subscriber or not.
Not only did they add this shameless subscription service but also this season they completely butchered our boy recruit. No more 5 man shotgun rushes, no m249 lmg rushes and still has no shield option.
Im confused, didnt they change this way back like a year or two ago? I think I wasnt able to pick recruit at that time and was pretty mad. Care to elaborate on the current changes please? Thanks
They’ve made some pretty good changes for this season solis fenrir nerf much needed the recruit ops look good got good versatility. We’ll see what the anti cheat improvements do low expectations from me. If they want to add a membership I’ve got no reason to care wasn’t gonna get it anyways I don’t need to so I won’t. As long as it purely cosmetic I couldn’t care less. The only people with a bill are the people dumb enough to buy it or they just want to. Play the game all the time don’t even get the battle pass.

Before R6 siege launched, there was a game called Ghost recon phantoms. I sunk a near 1200 hours into it. The same think happend to it by they time siege was released. I got so fucked up that it was no longer playable without spending money. Eventually , they closed the servers December 2016. I still miss that game.
The Ubisoft law. Any gaming company that makes decisions from an executive position will inevitably ruin their own product. EA, Activision, Gearbox, Bethesda, just to name a few.
What is even funnier is that R6S would never have become a game if the game they were actually working on was canceled for being boring. R6S was a last ditch effort to save on already developed content... This game as not a Ubisoft invention. It was what some devs wanted and proposed after the intended game was canceled.
Really good choice, not only is the battlepass not suited for a game like siege at all but also they charge u $10 for the battle pass but if you 100% it you don’t get your $10 back like every other game that has a good battlepass does. It will always cost at least $5 for the next seasons battlepass which is just scammy, if someone is gonna put enough time in your game to beat the bp then reward them accordingly.
@SPKRFRKRMPLS Live service was barely a thing when R6 dropped😂 they are turning their game into slop to chase trends. This game already costs money and has loot boxes as well so I dont know how you are confused as to how they are making money from it
Ex Eve Online player here... Welcome to the club. Eve Online Devs (Crown Control Productions) Got a dedicated fanbase, where the paid accounts per player was over 2, (so $20-30/month for the person depending on the deals used to buy the subs). And they still press for more money. The whole time, the devs keep trying other games, and just get failure after failure with Eve Online players bankrolling the whole thing. 5 flop games and 5 canceled games, and as a reward, they try to monetize us harder. But then they got bought by Pearl Abyss of Black Desert Online infamy. They went from it being arguable if Eve was pay to win (Credit card warriors would inevitably just feed and make for blingy killmails, even if they could fund it all with a credit card) To trying to push textbook pay to win stuff (Golden ammo, premium booster). I lost motivation and quit then. But it seems like the community is doing its best to fight the devs and keep the utter ruination of the game at bay, but those arent fun fights we're paying monthly to have. So R6 players, I feel you, sucks to just feel like some game companys pay pig and thats it.
Dust 514 was fire but absolutely broke eve online because if the defenders lost that planet loses all defensive buffs. (Like cutting off a planet in galaxy conquest on battlefront 2)
What are you smoking? Are you comparing Alpha to Omega? Alpha is effectively just a trial, only that it's perpetual and works as a fallback if your subscription run out. At least you can still log in and do stuff without having to pay money. There's no golden ammo or any equivalent for sale for real money. The biggest pay to win aspect of EVE Online is multiboxing and the fact it's heavily encouraged by CCP and the content they have been making as of late.

It's been nearly a decade since this game released, and it released as a gritty, realistic, incredible game - now it is complete and utter trash. They ruined all the maps, all the "characters" are stupid and sci-fi now, and it's riddled with microtransactions. Ubisoft, stop with this trainwreck! Just make a new Rainbow Six with a good single player story and multiplayer again (fully realizing this is impossible for Ubisoft today)
Played the game religiously with friends from about Y1S4 to about Y3S2, and then on and off until whatever the Iana season was. Game just felt like it was getting worse and worse whenever I came back so I just eventually stopped playing period.
Yup, i really feel like we are very close to "pay per reload" level of monetization. Its getting VERY bad. Whats worse is they are doing this to FULL PRICE GAMES. $70 yet shoving in battle passes and bundles into every damn full price game. Would be different if this was a FREE to play game. Everyone saying $70 now for new games makes sense cuz its "more costly to make games" are just sucking big corporations dicks SO damn deep and hard when its about GREED and the monetization in full price games like this is proof
agreed, games are getting far too costly as it is, like $70 for you guys in the states is around $90 for us in Australia, sometimes can be as much as $110 in some instances. It’s pretty freaking bad. Like sure I can understand if the reasoning for that is because games are getting bigger and more costly to make so they gotta break even with sales. But companies like Ubisoft are showing that they aren’t putting in the effort to make that price tag worth while, let alone with all the extra monetisation added on top, how this doesn’t get caught on by consumer laws is honestly baffling
$70 for video games only make sense if the quality is that much higher than the best $60 games. But not only are these $70 games not equal to $60 games, but they are flat-out INFERIOR. You also won’t be able to take advantage of a sale a few years down the road and buy the game then because Ubisoft would have likely revoked licenses for said games by that point. Just don’t buy these stupid games and let the idiots lose their money’s worth.
I remember when they had a "year X pass" where you paid like 30 bucks to get 8 new ops (early aswell), new skins, boosts to xp and credits and some other goodies for a whole year...
I love how Muta talks about lack of new maps in siege, meanwhile people in For Honor got new map like 5 years ago and when they recently they introduced a map rework, community shat their pants.
I was high when watching this and my god it felt like this was never gonna end. I looked at the time and im like damn muta really just went on about this for 15 min in one breath. I aint even mad, im impressed
To be fair, if you were like me and used to buy the year pass for R6. If you buy the subscription for the first month of each season it is almost like the year pass because you get the battlepass, the skin or whatever. The battlepass costs $10 normally so if you buy the first month subscription for $10 then you basically get whatever rewards come with subscription for free. However, it is incredibly important to cancel the subscription before the next month starts because the value you get from the battle pass drops off DRAMATICALLY. We are also not sure if you will always get the bonus reward for every quarter of the year because if you buy the subscription June 11 - June 18 you get an extra ash skin bundle and 600 r6 credits, is this a one time deal I donno. Because basically every month of the subscription after the first all you get is a piece of the warden bundle (which I think the uniform and headgear looks good but not $10 or $5 worth good), the 10 BP level ups, which I 100% agree with Mutahar, the target audience for the subscription is people who play R6 a lot so they would have already hit tier 100 anyway (unless they for some reason don’t play) which means you convert 10 BP level ups to overflow tiers which means that is actually 2 alpha packs (random not guaranteed legendaries or epics), then you get a single bravo pack (again could be an uncommon which would be incredibly disappointing). You do not get any r6 credits from the subscription (apart from the ash bonus reward one) because the right side of the rainbow six siege membership banner is stuff that you get within the battle pass. Only the left side and the middle (as well as the ash bundle top of the banner) you actually get from the membership itself. TLDR: If you get the membership after first month of the season all you guaranteed to get is: 2 alpha packs, 1 bravo pack and one piece of a 3 part legendary bundle all for $10 a month or $5 a month for the $80 per year subscription. My conclusion: Honestly I’d think about it if the yearly price was $60 instead of $80 because then the pricing would seem more like $5, $5, $5 -> new season $5, $5, $5 -> new season (repeat). They made the minimum price of subscription as $10 because that’s what it costs to buy the battlepass, they don’t want you to get the battlepass for cheaper than $10 which makes sense, but buying anything more than the first month of each season is a waste unless they make the rewards better in the other months or decrease the price. Also I also agree with Mutahar that I don’t think the weapon skin looks that good, however, if the gun skin was an exotic animated weapon skin, I’d be tempted.
Thank god you covered this. Glad the crowd can actually see this game is being driven into the dirt. I started in y2 and have only seen this game slowly try to un alive itself. The cheater problem at high rank will turn this game into CS2 in terms of matchmaking
I’m a season 0 veteran and stopped playing in 2020. It lost its tone in the story, characters, and skins. They were starting to do map reworks instead of new maps that time too. This game released before live service games like Fortnite, but became what I hate. I couldn’t imagine going back today.
Instead of XDefiant, if Ubisoft wanted a flagship FPS title, they should be pumping WAY more money and resources into Siege. Almost 10 years after launch and Siege is still pretty damn popular. It could be a true juggernaut if Ubi gave the game the backing it needs.
i don't think that's reasonable. siege has a brutal learning curve, most fps gamers want to click head again and again. having to wait out an entire round because you forgot to check a window sucks. Siege is an odd game, xdefiant is a more casual game. i agree with the plan by ubi on this, it makes sense.
@@drjamaymay405Ah yes, let's just appeal fully to casuals and then go completely competitive. Wtf do you think happened to Siege? They're just gonna try to make the game more competitive as it's lifespan goes on, same they did with Siege dude...

To some extent I see the point towards the end where muta is talking about dwindling content but after a game goes on for a long amount of years it gets harder to create new content that is actually meaningful and holds it weight over time
For me, Siege is impossible to jump back into because of the flood of unfamiliar Operators and aggressive monetization. It's unforgiving for new/returning players. On that same note, I've been enjoying XDefiant, but that game has bad money grab practices too. They charge $10 for a basic black weapon with the iconic three green dots slapped on it.
the monetisation part is fine but you avoid this game bcs its hard to take note of all the ops? Didnt gamers praise games like souls or bloods for being hard games. Which is it do we want harder games or not
@@pikkyuukyuun4741 It's not necessarily about difficulty. I'm not familiar with the game, so I'm pulling an example out of my ass. Let's say the game had 10 operators when he played. He had to learn all 10 operators and what they do, not only to effectively play them, but play against them. That could have taken hundreds of hours. He takes a break. Now he wants to come back, hop in and just play something he's familiar with. But now the game has added an additional 20 operators. He can't just play like he used to. He now has to learn all these 20 new operators before he can understand how to play something that he used to know how to play. He COULD take the time to learn all the new stuff... it's not about it being hard... it's just going to take time, and we don't have infinite time for everything.
Honestly the two games I was looking forward to playing during summer break from uni was Tarkov and Siege, just so disappointed in the new season, felt like those mid-season reinforcements they used to do.
Fun fact: The battle pass for this game (which you can pay for a fair annual amount, I think it was £50 with a skin every season including an exclusive skin for annual) is also a pass to play the new characters on time.
This is pretty much why I stopped playing triple a multiplayer games. So many useless microtransaction cosmetics, you'd honestly think you were playing a mobile game.
Ubisoft never fails to cut corners, Siege is now the prime example of development on a tight budget… there is no doubt that siege is running on a skeleton crew, they cut back on server investment, they’re cosmetic team are probably just interns because they all usually suck, there are no new maps, no new guns, lack of creativity in making new operators. It’s really a shame on how lame each year is becoming compared to the early days of Siege. All went downhill when the old director and siege team transitioned out.
they cut back becasue the previous pace was unsustainable. operation burnt horizon was the last season of 2 ops new map new guns. Outback was one of the worst maps introduced, gridlock to this day is underutilized. that season was a waste of money.
The balance team of the game has a similar philosophy in where when they release balance patches, it’s usually not gonna be about adding new content to the rosters abilities by buffing them to give the players more options between operators but nerfing them and their guns based off of dumb shit like pick rate.
A 10 year old game getting a subscription service is GTA levels of greed. I cant believe they're willing to be so blatantly in it for money yet there are thousands who will gladly hand over the money without a care in the world. This is costing us new games and braincells at this point.
Remember when we complained about loot crates? When we shat on Activision for releasing another futuristic cod (despite it having a great campaign), when we had console wars and argued overnight on which franchise was objectively better... Nowadays we play mediocre games and roll with the new skins release. They make us pay for literal textures (.png) to slap on meshes nobody cares about. At least back then those PNGs had meaning. They were hard to unlock. They symbolized an accomplishment. Now you pay to skip the grind and get it right away. Why? Because the game isn't fun nor worth grinding. Like seriously, a decade from now, what are we gonna look back at and miss? ofc there are gems still, but the kings have fallen.
I honestly thought I'd be a console guy for life but the games are so bad now I'm saving up to either build or get a pre built PC and just straight sell my Xbox bc the only games I play on there would be much better on PC also mods lol

Hey man they are adding back one night map next season. It’s the stadium map from 2020, the one mixed with Hereford base and Oregon, not sure if old Hereford though.
I love you bro but coming from a six thousand hour console player I can't agree with your takes. The recruit I feel was definitely fun for stupid strats but now will actually do his job to give new players a fighting chance in ranked play to learn and be productive to the team. He has access to all primary and secondary gadgets, emp and hard breach at the time as well as mavericks M4/commando on defense. And I think reworks are valid on maps. They took criticism and made the maps better or took boring maps like house and made them alive again.
If the subscription gave access to to older versions/seasons of siege and their vast imperfections I would say they may be on to something. I’ve played the game since release and there’s something special about old Hereford base, Bartlett university, old house, T-Hunt with the bomber sprinting at you. Either way you get the idea, paywall older seasons and their imperfections(acog access ops, recoil patterns, etc.) I would say maybe Ubisoft did something.
I’m a Game Developer graduate (Art) and I was eyeing at Ubisoft as a potential place to start (or at least start when I had the skills to apply working for the big companies), but after seeing this and the general state of developers right now, I think I’ll be an indie dev for the time being until things get sorted out, hopefully. 🤞
At least you get content. They finally gave us a new map in For Honor after a 4 year wait. And it's a map that already existed in the game, it just wasn't available for the most popular game mode
No. Content is 8 operators, new map, new guns, improvements to the game. This whole of year 9 of siege is what they used to give in 1 season (3 months) back in year 1-5 of siege. They released 8 operators a year (2 per season) then they went down to 4 operators (1 per season) now they give 2 operators (0.5 per season) and 2 "reworks" (wow so cool amazing, definitely worth my money)
Amen Brother. Cathedral is sonewhat refreshing, but not New "New". If r6s is so tight on its budget, then For Honor has NO budget. I still can't purchase every single battleoutfit for newer heroes since Harbingers because they don't have the option to buy them lol!!!!!
Ahhh the good ‘ol days, advance warfare came out, me and my buddies grinding on ranked doing all nighters, getting to earn a royalty purple skin that was limited to wear. Being proud of earning it, now a days in glad games like Elden ring are popping off!
Ya they did that pretty early, as soon as they removed Mars and the Forsaken DLC I never went back. That was what 2020? Seems late people started talking about Ubisoft but Bungie got a pass unfortunately till now.
this is entirely entertaining because i quit siege when the team decided in a game where recoil pattern is basically everything that they would stop adding new guns with new recoil patterns.
I mean to be fair, they’ve got a lot of guns in the game and new ones will just be reskins. For example POF-9 for sens is just 416 carbine but with more ammo. Also under-utilised good guns can get a resurgence on new operators. For example, the p10 roni was hardly ever used compared to commando 9 but when aruni came out and got the p10 roni, the p10 roni on mozzie became more popular than the commando 9 and left it in the dust. Even after mozzie lost the 1.5x on the roni, the commando 9 has never recovered to its former glory. Well the new recruit has the better mozzie load out (commando 9 + super shorty + observation blocker/BP camera + c4)
@@drjamaymay405 not really. The only guns I would say the randomness has any effect is SMG 12 and Ela's scorpion from 20 metres away. And of course semi auto guns but those aren't really patterns
Yeah I stopped playing them again when they wanted me to create an another account just to play a game. (I only played Far Cry Primal and Watch Dogs 2, years ago on the xbox, tried to replay them again on pc but nah.)
What's also crazy is that even with the extreme monetization they've done to Siege, it's still a paid game with an intense grind to obtain new content. Multiple people have definitely picked up the game on sale and we're immediately presented with a wall of operators locked on top of micro transactions plastered everywhere.
Pretty sad, especially since a lot of the old devs are gone off of Siege. I think they tried to hold this kind of stuff off. I remember meeting them at E3 2017. I was such a big siege fan that I stayed there at their booth playing them vs. seeing other things. Most of them are gone, they were the best.
5:14 Could you elaborate on that I don't think the genre of the game justifies paying a subscription fee I dont really play those games but do wonder how its seen as alright with them especially Final Fantasy to play someone has to pay full price purchase & a subscription fee plus on top of that they charge for the expansions how is that seen as ok?
And that is why I only play old single player games. A couple of days ago I found my old C&C last decade pack and installed it. Had to search a few day between all the trash I had stored in the basement to find a dvd drive, but it was totally worth it.
I saw the writing on the wall for Siege like 3-4+ years ago and decided I was done with Ubisoft and Siege, despite loving the game and playing it A LOT. Best decision I ever made. It felt like leaving WoW though after 12 years
If a game is online/needs a regular connection to internet, you will hear it ticking. Yeah, it's probably gonna explode into pieces but enjoy while it lasts. That's why people still download and play decades old offline games.
5:42, year, I think I bought one Ash skin and one Valkyrie skin. That was the extent of my generosity. I used to say that multiplayer was the death of gaming. I think I was about 10 years too early to say that, and I had no idea how bad it would actually get.

But then they got bought by Pearl Abyss of Black Desert Online infamy.
The only reason they get away with it is because people still buy them
@@CoOlKyUbI96 yeah sadly you’re right, people still buy them so they have no incentive not to pull these shitty business practices
For $70 you can buy a lot of great indie games.

I remember when they had a "year X pass" where you paid like 30 bucks to get 8 new ops (early aswell), new skins, boosts to xp and credits and some other goodies for a whole year...

they will never live down "quadruple A"
I was high when watching this and my god it felt like this was never gonna end.

This is pretty much why I stopped playing triple a multiplayer games. So many useless microtransaction cosmetics, you'd honestly think you were playing a mobile game.
Xdefiant is up next on the chopping block
Bro if r6s has a tiny budget, then For Honor has NO budget
Why tf your typing like an English teacher😂😂
@@F1RST_BLUD1 LMAO! I actually am a teacher. Tho I'm French and teach 3D
I really love how u put so many parentheses and punctuation marks so much that you even have it in your profile name and bio
This is genuinely funny🫥
@@F1RST_BLUD1 YT didn’t lemme use my username so I added a period.
I like to keep my texts readable, thus the punctuation (I over do it all the time).
Anyhow, good day/night
I saw the news and was like oh mudahar is going to be pissed
I stopped caring about r6 when they took away night maps
i don't care if they gave one side or the other an advantage, they were fun to play
I used to play siege years ago…. They WHAT?
@@kyvian251yeah.. the game nowadays is the equivalent of a playground where they take out every structure that a kid could possibly get hurt on.
The result? An empty lot.
Hey man they are adding back one night map next season. It’s the stadium map from 2020, the one mixed with Hereford base and Oregon, not sure if old Hereford though.
@@WhatIsTheHeat it is old hereford, but the map changes make it nearly unrecognizable. the oregon side is the same as old oregon.
Ubisoft needs to get comfortable with us not playing there quadruple A games
I’m a Game Developer graduate (Art) and I was eyeing at Ubisoft as a potential place to start (or at least start when I had the skills to apply working for the big companies), but after seeing this and the general state of developers right now, I think I’ll be an indie dev for the time being until things get sorted out, hopefully. 🤞
Here and there i see insomniac games hiring. Maybe look into that (and bring us a New Ratchet & Clank game before 2028)
Ubisoft is clueless.
the 3DS online services were free to use for the whole consoles lifetime
That profile pic at 2:01 is wild😂
If you think this is greed, you really need to make a video on the new league of legends skin bundle… shits insanity..
People still unironically play League in 2024? Damn
Thats not greed, they just dont care about League anymore.
@@Clooger- its still one of the most played games lmao
@@rimurutempest8358 That is very concerning..
and they did that for the event for Faker, who literally never uses a skin in pro-play
Hey, it's not like Counter Strike is any better than Six Siege, still no proper anti-cheat since the inception of 1.6. Crazy.
people been cheating in CS since i was playing it in computer class during highschool in 2007 -.-
At least you get content.
No matter how much money a game makes, no matter how insanely successful it is, it will NEVER be enough to satisfy theses corporations.
Ahhh the good ‘ol days, advance warfare came out, me and my buddies grinding on ranked doing all nighters, getting to earn a royalty purple skin that was limited to wear. Being proud of earning it, now a days in glad games like Elden ring are popping off!
Bungie took away tons of content and tried to pretend it was good for the players, this includes expansions that I paid for and never got to play.
Ya they did that pretty early, as soon as they removed Mars and the Forsaken DLC I never went back. That was what 2020? Seems late people started talking about Ubisoft but Bungie got a pass unfortunately till now.
@@DarkR27 Yep, I never went back when they took away content I paid for either. F-Bungie, never again.
this is entirely entertaining because i quit siege when the team decided in a game where recoil pattern is basically everything that they would stop adding new guns with new recoil patterns.
Well the new recruit has the better mozzie load out (commando 9 + super shorty + observation blocker/BP camera + c4)
recoil patterns aren't everything. they matter to an extent but the randomness makes learning them only so helpful.
@@drjamaymay405 not really. The only guns I would say the randomness has any effect is SMG 12 and Ela's scorpion from 20 metres away. And of course semi auto guns but those aren't really patterns
There is a simple solution. Dont Buy UbiSoft games
Yeah I stopped playing them again when they wanted me to create an another account just to play a game. (I only played Far Cry Primal and Watch Dogs 2, years ago on the xbox, tried to replay them again on pc but nah.)
they are kinda good tho
What's also crazy is that even with the extreme monetization they've done to Siege, it's still a paid game with an intense grind to obtain new content. Multiple people have definitely picked up the game on sale and we're immediately presented with a wall of operators locked on top of micro transactions plastered everywhere.
Pretty sad, especially since a lot of the old devs are gone off of Siege. I think they tried to hold this kind of stuff off. I remember meeting them at E3 2017. I was such a big siege fan that I stayed there at their booth playing them vs. seeing other things. Most of them are gone, they were the best.
same with gta
Ahh thank you ubislop for giving me a choice of a usless costco pass
Ruin a whole event just to promote a subscription is a exactly what ubisoft would do.
Fallout 76 & GTA + Definitely Set The Tone For This Bullshit
5:14 Could you elaborate on that I don't think the genre of the game justifies paying a subscription fee I dont really play those games but do wonder how its seen as alright with them especially Final Fantasy to play someone has to pay full price purchase & a subscription fee plus on top of that they charge for the expansions how is that seen as ok?
The New season looks ass too 💀
i know no more 5 recruit memes
Ubisoft is one game company I stay away from. Consistently shit.
They're copying fortnite smh.
And that is why I only play old single player games. A couple of days ago I found my old C&C last decade pack and installed it. Had to search a few day between all the trash I had stored in the basement to find a dvd drive, but it was totally worth it.
07:30 Bro you sarcastic imitating killed me, that was so funny.
League players and Rainbow6 players 🤝
See this is why I stopped buying newer games and started getting edgy emo clothes from hot topic and sharkrobot!
I saw the writing on the wall for Siege like 3-4+ years ago and decided I was done with Ubisoft and Siege, despite loving the game and playing it A LOT.
Best decision I ever made. It felt like leaving WoW though after 12 years
I don’t really care about the subscription, unless they decide to restrict actual content behind the subscription (like test server or something).
