I used to talk to him a lot over on my main twitter account, back when he was in his "gym buff" phase.or so he claimed lol. gave him a bunch of feed back and advice, which at the time seamed like he was accepting well, all to learn he just wanted the high from attention. I try to help everyone I can but he refuses to help himself. he just doesn't know another way to be
Thanks for sharing the film with your audience, Mutahar. I had a ton of fun on your podcast and appreciate you bringing attention to the documentary. You're a legend!
well, in his defense, he did lose a lot of weight, and used his funds to "fix" his busted teeth. but his actual personality flaws... yeah thats a perfect Homer Simpson quote to apply.
Boogie walked into that job consultation fully expecting and WANTING her to tell him "it's hopeless, you can't get a job." Instead, she saw through his narcissism immediately and told him, "Actually, you CAN get a job, as long as you cut the crap." He just wanted an excuse to stop trying. She didn't let him off the hook that easily.
I worked with a guy who was covered in swat tik car tattoos. Literally anyone can find a job. (If anyone's wondering, the guy seemed like he legitimately wanted to improve himself and was actually doing a damn good job of it.)
That’s how much it is for me, granted I live in Canada where grocery prices are being inflated by greedy companies and the Canadian dollar is worth less than the American
The moment where his girlfriend was in tears over the thought of boogie dying and her heart breaking for him is the epitome of what boogie gets off to. Essentially an embodiment of the way he wishes the world to perceive him. “Love me, pity me, cry for me, miss me when I’m gone”
I know it's disgusting. I just hope she sees the light before it's too late like his ex wife did. Boogies ex basically wiped his ass for him that entire relationship and that's exactly what he's looking for with this girl.
I don't know what's more disgusting, that he gets off on that or that there's somebody so psychologically broken/dependent on a man like this that they would cry over him. He's not worth the tears.
like the fact he didn't cash any out and left it all in is insane he litteraly brag that he just about tripled his money. ok so then at least take out a the amount you put in and leave the rest in to continue gambling with crypto that way if it crashed and you lsot it you still break even. the fact he didn't even have that thought cross his mind is baffling.
Bro lost 600k and barely seems mildly annoyed about it. Like he's only milking it for the camera. That's like... insane. That's life changing money for the vaaaaast majority of average families/people. And he just used it to bitch about his ex wife.
And he’ll use the cash you give him to find a disenfranchised young woman and coerce her with money into paid sexual abuse. Thats what prostitution is. This isn’t about sworkers being bad. All sex buyers are exploiting and abusing women. It’s time you all realized this
@@Meanie74 nobody's saying we didn't, of course he's shit for that. Instead of putting money into something useful, and something that helps others he just hurts vulnerable women. Its disgusting the more you think abt it
Watch the convo Boogie and Muta had (I believe it took place AFTER Boogie was DMing Muta's significant other). Boogie tries throwing Clum under the bus and blaming him for 'misrepresentations' multiple times, and even tries to call him on the phone to bring him into their argument.
@@BladedBearthe thing is, id say if boogie didnt completely undercut it hed be at least a little pittyable. Theres something sad about a man having to rely on escorts - but then he completely undercuts that by being a misogynistic asshole. He does that every point something happens in the documentary. He was given every chance to show how hed changed but its clear he hadn’t and he’s not trying to hide it.
Boogie was once rich enough to afford a home gym, hire a coach and get professional advice on how to better himself. But instead he chose to play a victim and waste his fortune
He could have even cheated like wings of redemption and got a surgery but he pissed it away to fast 😭. Tbh though I think he would have just ended up regaining the weight because he would have never changed his lifestyle.
It’s people like boogie that remind me to make sure I get my shit together before im older. So thank you boogie for being an example for me to never be like you.
LOL bro, literally I was thinking the same thing while watching the video. Thanks to TH-cam, I can learn from other people mistakes and never do those things myself. Stay strong 😊
I remember when Boogie got kicked off a forum because he resorted to threatening suicide via sleeping pills when people asked him questions he didn't like.
The fact that Boogie had Diamond Dallas Page, a man who has a Yoga program and is well documented in helping so many people and literally saving their lives, come in to help him out on weight loss and Boogie did absolutely nothing with it, is the most telling thing when it comes to his overall health It was *right there* and he threw it away
Boogie is the embodiment of I can't and I won't and it's honestly sad and pathetic. I've always had an issue with ppl like him who complain about weight or their job or anything really they have the power to fix yet....dont.
I remember a video of Boogie's where he was saying, regarding weight loss, (paraphrasing) "I've tried everything! None of it works." The first thought I had was, "Did you try being consistent?" That's all it takes, is a little effort over a long enough timeline.
Then for the boxing match, Boogie was just absolute trash. Either whoever trained him did a horrible job, or Boogie didn't apply himself ever at all. I think given his track record, we all know what the answer is. Crazy thing is he went full on defensive mode on social media and people defended him too. This man won't be able to find self-improvement if he keeps finding bubbles to hide in. Edit: 11:44 Essentially
Boogie has had an inconceivable amount of chances and opportunities to not just improve but easily improve, laid in front of him. I would argue that he is one of the most lucky people ive ever seen and he squanders all of it without even a second thought. As someone tryna lose weight myself, if i had no job, no real or serious fiscal burdens/responsibilities, and a renown training coach. I think it would be infinitely easier to do so. I honestly believe it would be a no brainer. Like the work will still suck but since its the only thing id need to focus on it would still be easily doable. So many manage weight loss without all of the shit that boogie was just given yet he "cant" (its very clear that he doesnt want or care to).
Boogie is the perfect example of a narcissist who is also completely self-defeating, which at first seems like a contradiction. But while most people think of malignant narcissists like Jada Pinkett Smith, a fragile narcissist is usually depressed and has low self-esteem but believes they're important enough for people to simply honor and respect them for simply existing. He believes he deserves everything in life while simultaneously pointing out to people that he sucks as a person and deserves to be shamed or be seen as a victim.
Spent 17 years with a fragile narcissist. This is accurate. My ex is currently dating a 20 year old as well. Feel bad for her, she’s going to get all fucked up mentally right from the start.
@MotivationDaily_Quotes I kinda agree we shouldnt condemn him, but tough love will help him fix his life more than either sympathy or condemnation ever could. He's feeding on people's emotions. For him to get help, I think he needs to know that well is dry and he needs to make changes for his sake, not for the hope our sympathy or his emotional power will ever return.
His “trip” also doesn’t help the case of psychedelics and their benefits. Psychedelics are incredible and have so much potential but ppl like boogie make ppl not treat them seriously cuz he’s overdoing his reaction to it
like twelve yr old girls on tiktok self diagnosing themselves with illnesses and making it their only personality trait. Makes it embarrassing to even admit you actually HAVE certain disorders. why would you wanna be lumped in with a bunch of attention seeking losers
Her calling him the best she's ever had is possibly the saddest thing I've ever heard... it's not like there is a sweet loving man underneath, the deeper you go the worse it gets... and lets be real boogie would feed her to sharks for the slightest bit of relevance
He said 2 things that should make her want to leave. "These meat curtains are why I'm going to die alone" and "The best night of my life was right here in this tub with another woman".
But then again I have turned down money for sex plenty so I don't understand the appeal. Literally have a guy that drives a brand new Lambo trying to get me right now. Yea, pass.
@@ness7342 to be fair I would probably be better off if I didn't date deadbeat wanna be musicians. I will forever ever more ask people what their hobbies are before ever talking to them seriously. Because it's like a thing they don't advertise when I do meet them. 😂😭
That's one thing. Boogie loves trying to make his audience feel sorry for him when he's actually doing okay or messing up by choice again and again over several years. We all mess up, but when it's more than a handful of times and asking for sympathy each time? Hmmm...
The most upsetting part of the documentary for me was how he expected us to pity him for having never had sex with a model at his age, so he deserves to have money to pay for escorts. The vast majority of men have never and will never have sex with a model. It's not a disability, it's reality.
@@jarmakey1 I don’t understand why that is even a life goal. Boning models or celebs has never been on my bucket list. Most people are happy to find someone to love and be loved.
@@meowateyourchips7417exactly. so many people are so focused on getting the best thing out there physically when the best person for most people is probably someone they wouldnt think theyd be into.
Mike Clum brought a former escort of Boogie’s to interview. She literally said that having sex with Boogie was one of the reasons she quit the business. And she also used Boogie’s money from the night to help finish her degree in nursing school.
I came across this topic somewhere, but I didn't watch the documentary. Nevertheless, I appreciate the additional information you've provided . Honestly, if I were in Boogie's shoes, it would be personally embarrassing for me. I can't even imagine forcing an escort to quit, especially since they are likely to perform acts that are uncommon in regular relationships. I'm curious to know what Boogie did that was beyond her limits, which led her to quit although you did say he's not the sole reason . Despite the terrible experience, I'm glad that something positive came out of it, and she was able to use the pay to finish her degree.

I've only heard that from boogie himself, did anyone actaully call him Mr Rodgers? Cause they definitely haven't in the last 8 years or so since I knew who he was
Why he thinks it will make him look good is beyond me. The whole documentary just make him look pathetic, fully accountable for his situation, and extremely whinny. Most people don't even have access to the amount of money he does and still make due.
@rodrigonoal That isn't the point of him promoting it. It's nothing more than another attempt at attention. The dude is clearly a narcasist. Any sort of attention, whether positive or negative, is all he wants. Any sort of negatively towards him he can feed into the whole his "victim" complex. Par for the course he's the average influencer. Eceleb worship is a problem and just leads to people being cultists following every word of their surrogate friend who streams
He was, one of the best things about boogie was that he had a pov that most humans on the planet simply cannot have, so although he often wasn't a good inspiration we could look at him as a bad example. The problems he talked about the issues that excessive weight, neglecting your mental and physical health brings down to even not taking care of your teeth. If nothing else he is good to learn from for people who are like 300lbs and depressed who realise if they continue along the same path their could be 600lbs and depressed like boogie and if they still have their youth that they can turn that shit around.
He is a vulnerable narcissist. For most people it is really really hard to see trough a narcissist and catch their patterns and behavior. Of course people pitied him at first because of his weight and his stories that is completely relatable. Then seeing how he seemingly improved listening to his stories about mental health improvement which easily gives people the idea that he is genuine. But at least that's my idea of it.
Dude, the people that still don't realize that so many people work physical jobs, over 40 hours a week and still barely break 30K a year. It's real bad in some states. Poor him....
I used to work in call centers surrounded by many of the most broken people on the planet and none of them were as aggressively self destructive as Boogie is. I kept looking at all the stuff he's got and thinking how much he could just sell off and be in a better financial situation. It reminded me of a former friend who's also in her 50s who's also horrible with making financial decisions. I remember when she got a settlement check, blew it all on an expensive Dr. Who sonic screwdriver and a set of cat ears that apparently respond to your brain waves. Not even a week later she was crying about not being able to make her rent. Boogie's the one you point to and say 'see this guy, don't be this guy'.

He could craigslist them for a couple hundred and that's better than them as they are now. Same for a lot of his stuff, can garage sale or craigslist for whatever he can get for them.
Seeing Boogie talk about how he isn't going to be able to pay his mortgage with thousands of dollars of arcade machines behind him is definitely something

It's so fucking surreal looking at how Boogie is now (and apparently secretly always was), and how he seemingly was back then. I really liked him back in the day, he seemed so charming, heartfelt and sincere that I found it impossible not to root for him. I feel so stupid for ever liking him.
He sucked us all in dude. I've even shed tears for the guy before. I feel personally hurt by him tbh, he's a very dangerous person, the amount of people he can reach and the influence he has is quite scary given the kind of guy he is. His young girlfriend needs to get away from him before he destroys her, like his ex wife did.
Don't feel bad, I think he's what people have pointed out a fragile or covert narcissist. They are masters of manipulating you into their world view and it takes a long time to unwind that. People have been slowly seeing the cracks form for years and years. This was the breaking point, the veil is gone.
Stuff like this just infuriates me. I have a full time job at a church and just started a second part time job waiting tables in order to support my pregnant wife and our daughter. If I had half the opportunity this guy absolutely wasted me and my family’s life could be so different. What a shame
@@isaacgirouard5924 I agree to some extent, however.. He still remains as his own worst enemy because in the end, he's the one causing his own downfall.
As a woman in my 40’s I find it repulsive that Boogie is manipulating his girlfriend who is naïve and unworldly. Them crying together because boogie was telling her all his problems saying he will die soon. Predatory and selfish. It’s heartbreaking to see this young lady so insecure.
Exactly. Boogie "confessing" all his flaws and regrets not only pokes but stabs the poor young woman in her abandonment trauma. Unforgivable, truly sick of him.
Boogie is one of those people who is addicted to being sick. He loves to tell people about how unwell he is without the willingness (or lack of willpower) to change it.
This is the most accurate assessment. He clearly enjoys playing the victim and guilt tripping his viewers into feeling sorry for him. Complaining about his life was pretty much 99% of his youtube content , and now as hes in a much better position, he has nothing left to complain about.
I remember when boogie was still seen as this fluffy nice teddy bear that tried to make peace whenever there was conflict and drama. Now he doesn't even try anymore and just shows what a dark person he really is (still tries to manipulate though).
Ronny hate to say this but just because someone presents themselves as a jolly guy doesn’t mean he’s a happy or in good mental wellbeing the guy had problems from day one he started TH-cam he suffers from gambling his whole entire life on TH-cam people just didn’t notice it
"Doctor all you did was cure my cancer and save my life! Why didn't you also make people love me unconditionally, give me a million dollars a year, and the power to fly? Thanks for NOTHING, Doc!"
That part of him telling his girlfriend he's a "time bomb" is so f*cking patheric. He CAN get psychological support from a therapist and work on his body to eliminate all that fat and become healthier. It is NEVER too late to take care of your health. The only unmanageable health condition is death. He is just always throwing a pity party and never taking accountability for his situation. Boogie deserves to be in this situation if he refuses to work on improving himself.
Pathetic? Yes, but also intentional; the entire point of that was to slam her with the possibility of his own death, then use the resulting emotional distress to further cement their connection. When psychs talk about trauma bonding, this is precisely what they mean.
I was never too healthy but I wasn't huge or anything abnormal. Sweets on weekends, could lose some weight, etc. My health started to turn bad a year ago with still an unknown illness. It was a huge wake up call to the fit life and honestly it really is a life changer. It doesn't directly help my current illness but I feel so better and recover faster from the episodes now. And just giving it your all is very cathartic. The sight of boogie for me is something I can not even begin to comprehend.
Poor girl, made me feel genuinely so sad and angry for her. I hope she comes to her senses and soon. Especially the sob story moment where Boogie turbomanipulates her by guilt tripping her with his fatass problems made me clench my fists
Dude shes totally in it for the long haul, she gonna cash in when he biffs it Edit: just realized his shitty arcade systems might actually be worth something at that point. Good business woman!
Some people think the work to mow the lawn or vacuum is so painful it scares them. When work comes in front of boogie he shoves food in his face to forget about how crappy of a person he is.
I work in fraud and cyber crime, and "I have my way young, kinda naive girlfriend's ID in my wallet" just screams "My credit blows because of my bad choices, so I'm opening accounts in her name to pay my lifestyle" but I'm obviously paranoid.
As someone who's going through financial difficulties myself, thank god I'm not as irresponsible as Boogie. And thank you, Mutahar, for the reassurance that there's no shame in having to downsize or reevaluate my life because of it. Shit's rough, but hearing you say these admittedly obvious points helps.
Agree. Not going through financial difficulties myself and wish you luck, but as Muta was saying ( just got to the part with the one up machines) he is wasting money. I know they probably don't take up too much electricity, but as someone who tries to be a cheapskate and not give in to every impulse to "buy FF 16 because I need it" all I could think of was he is complaining about finances yet is wasting pointless electricity. Part of downsizing is also not running up your bills pointlessly lol.
Imagine seeing this when you have an executive dysfunction disorder that is notoriously dismissed by most practictioners. I have ADHD and have been damaged by antipsychotics being given to me wrongly despite having a childhood diagnosis and record of successful treatment for ADHD using stimulants. If you told me there was a way to restart my life without having ADHD I would ask what I had to do as I would quite literally be willing to potentially end someone to be able to just have been born without the detriments and without the weird thoughts that I should hold back on account of some people who have less mental faculties or might bully me, an annoying symptom of ADHD is heightened sensitivity to rejection so you end up trying to people please especially if you are like me who has parents that are never satisfied or gave any form of congratulations for achievement as such would only come from teachers or peers. So I valued friends above most family as my sister took after my father and they lack the ability for self reflection to identify that their actions of control and pressure helped create monsters
Yep, I had my touch of local fame in my town of like 20k and even at a local level u get very narcissistic. I quit doing music just a year in and maybe some months later my local "fame" was gone. And local fame isn't anything cool or big, it's just stupid. Fame is so stupid. It puts u in that "prep bully" phase like in highschool movies
The Lifestyle isn’t for everyone. Their personal problems often destroy them at some point. An Often times criticism comes and not everyone can take it.
I feel so badly for his girlfriend. Her heart is in the right place, but somebody in her life needs to tell her that this relationship is not good for her. The way boogie emotionally manipulates her by remindering her that he will die soon is so disgusting. He’s trying to mentally break her into submission. I don’t know anything about her past traumas, but somebody has to get through to her that this is NOT the right way of dealing with past traumas.
I went from 620lb to 350lb in the span of about 18 months. It ain't easy losing weight and keeping it off, but it ain't impossible. Boogie just doesn't want to.
The worst thing is that this young, troubled girl knows no better than to enable him, eating shitty food with him, crying with him, being broke with him, and from a quick glance it might look like she's a leech in his life but in reality he is a leech to her.
i feel bad for her. it just shows people at this age they are not mature enough. im only a year older than her and its insane to me that such a young women is with a guy like him. hes just a perverted old man.

Yeah the part in the documentary where boogie tells his girlfriend all the ways that his health is failing, was some of the most gross, manipulative shit that I've ever seen from him. So much of his health situations can be improved and turned around, but he chooses not to do it. Seeing her be manipulated in such a way to where she's fine staying with him if he cheats on her, all the while she's out there cleaning his house and mowing his yard, was just infuriating.
Totally right. It takes a disciplined head space but you can shed pounds quite easy just by sticking to a healthy diet for a month or two. He doesn't want to change because he enjoys the victimhood status. The whole "never got to fk a LA 10" is proof of that. If you want to be in that level of playing field then you need to play and look the part.

2:26 “he’s somebody that doesn’t want to be helped; he just wants to be a professional g0ddamn victim.” I think that this quote not only applies to boogie, but to majority of TH-cam drama celebs as well.
When I was watching this documentary, I was screaming to my monitor "just sell the damn house". And when he was talking to his girlfiend and telling her that he is ticking time bomb I was just done with him. So manipulative. He is acting like this is some kind of tragic love story, like he has some kind of disease that cannot be treated. It can be fixed. Loosing weight and eating disorder are really hard. But it can be done. He just refuse to help himself.
@@MrCmon113 I can not agree with you. It's not like that. Men are not manipulators just because they talk about their feelings. Boogie is. I wouldn't put an equal sign between these two issues. He makes himself out to be a victim, but he is not. He made bad financial decisions. He behaves as if he deserved everything. This girl is much younger than him. Perhaps she doesn't fully understand his intentions. It's possible he doesn't realize what a manipulator he is. But not every man who talks about his feelings is a manipulator.
I don't own my own house so wasn't sure if it was possible with a mortgage you still owed money on, but yeah my first thought was "downsize ya dumbass." Get someplace he can easily move around in and doesn't need help cleaning. Maybe a one story ranch house, and just have someone help him with laundry (going up and down the stairs to the basement.) He could stash a bunch of his vidya shit in the basement too, but naturally he'd have to sell a good chunk of stuff...which would be extra money for his debts. Just wild. Two people don't need that big a space, and anyone else he houses for free (housework and cooking don't pay debts unless they're paying for the supplies!!) is just money thrown into a pit.
The "obesity epidemic" in the US is a multifaceted issue with many reasons as to why it's happening, ranging from some people living in food deserts to a lot of healthier food being more expensive to working-class people opting for fast food due to lack of time. Boogie doesn't have any excuse; he has more than enough money to buy any kind of healthy food he wants and he would have plenty of time to prepare these meals. If his unhealthy eating habits are related to mental health struggles like he has claimed in the past, he has all the time and money he needs to see a specialist. Yet Boogie has never attempted any of these things despite having all the resources he could ever need. Why? He genuinely doesn't care about getting better, he wants to stay the perpetual victim.
@@katarzynalaskowska4740How does him saying he is fat equal "manipulation" and "trying to be a victim." Stating facts isn't manipulation or trying to be a victim.

This and Charlies video are the EXACT reason Boogie let them make this "mocumentary". I just wish his ex-wife wasn't locked behind an NDA as part of the divorce and could tell us what ACTUALLY happened.
There's being self-aware, self-critical, and honest about yourself (your strengths, your weaknesses, limits, being able to notice flaws and how to overcome them etc) in a way that is healthy and worthy of respect and genuine sympathy, and then there's Boogie's way of doing it that he is unwilling to change because he sees an incentive to not do so.
He’s a narcissist. They don’t believe there’s anything wrong with them that they need to change. Fame and money corrupt 95% of people, even in small amounts like boogie
On the "if he cheated one" comment This is heart breaking to hear and reminds me a lot of a relationship I once had, one where I was the problem. My girlfriend at the time said that to me "if you cheated on me if probably forgive you" it's codependency it's not healthy, in my experience it comes from one side coming out of a toxic relationship eventually she might pass through it but until that point it's going to be a very one sided relationship and that's before the age difference, this is not going to end well and I hope she's ok

More attention, more internet traffic, a chance to revive his channel-knowing TH-camrs like SomeOrdinaryGamers would see the opportunity for themselves to grow from the drama and keep this story alive as heaps of people come to Boogie's channel and leave dislikes and angry comments. Some may even subscribe to keep up. This is why TH-camrs start beef with each other or debate all the time.
@@seto_kaiba_bingo! I think he’s basically just going to embrace his lolcow status. He knows that tons of people watch people like Chris Chan, DSP and wings of redemption for laughs. But in Boogies own mind, he’s smarter and better than all of those people. So he won’t waste the money that they do. I think that’s his thought process right now
I only saw a few videos like 5 years ago and couldn't watch each for longer than 5-10 minutes, he gave TOTAL creep vibes, it's crazy to me how people say they have no idea because this guy was giving off vibes this entire time.
As someone who managed to get out of a spiral and really turn my life around and into someone really, truly enjoyable, Boogie has no idea what he's missing out on. If he knew, he wouldn't make excuses to not do anything about any of his issues.
Being aware that you’re struggling is half the story, taking the actionable steps to change is the other half. Unless you are living in tough circumstances, there is no excuse to get up and get yourself together
Yes. Being aware of those issues and not fixing them, worst yet, using them as a constant source for pity/attention, makes him worse than someone who's just dumb and oblivious. Infuriatingly enough, he tries to play both the dumb card and the enlightened card. It doesn't work.
The sad part is, there will always be gullible people that will feel like they have to help him somehow, even if they're financial far worse off. They probably have their own mental issues if they fall for him repeatedly and he's taking full advantage of that.
We all know we need positive role models, but sometimes I think we need negative ones too-examples of what not to do. Boogie is the biggest negative role model I can think of in this area. He is a good example of how being ruled by one’s desires and appetites (in the broader sense of the word, not just food) can bring ruin.
This can work if you keep a good balance between acknowledging your shared failings/vulnerabilities and having self-esteem. Otherwise, a. the negative role model becomes a scapegoat for your shadow, or b. you just dislike yourself so much that you don't do anything to change. The balance is difficult, and things like watching cringe content or being around someone who actually tries to hurt your feelings makes it easy to fall into extremes.
To me the most disturbing thing was his bizarre obsession with pretty young girls, and then perching this enormous depression on the fact that he has to pay them. I'm stunned by the stupidity of it if anything.
I know it’s cliche but as somebody who has to work his ass off just to pay rent every month, it rages me to my core to see somebody have this much money, waste it all, and then cry for sympathy. I couldn’t even fathom having that much money.
The part of the documentary that really got to me, while talking about his girlfriend, he said something along the lines of “If I died it would just destroy her life”. We all know it wouldn’t, it would set her free from his manipulation, but that’s what he has convinced her of. He’s barely a human, she’s barely an adult. It’s insane and pure evil.
He has probably convinced her that her life would be ruined without him - classic signs of a manipulate abuser. One wonders what goes on between them when the cameras are off.
Boogie is the kind guy that if you gave him a Scrooge McDuck style vault full of gold coins, he'd blow it all on Burger King and Funko Pops almost immediately and be like _"Life is tough, dudes. Gotta make ends meet somehow, help a brother out."_ It's pleading self-induced poverty and I don't think he'll ever understand that. Even on his deathbed which is readily approaching...
Boogie messaging Mutahar’s wife is absolutely WILD. Now his divorce is not a surprise at all. On the note of boogie’s ex, did he not realize that with the whole “Arkansas 8s” bit, he was basically talking crap about his ex wife? Truly such a virtuous man we have here. Talking about Arkansas 8s and LA 10s as if he’s not a freakin Arkansas 500 himself lol.
This isn't surprising really. Boogie would always appear in any corner of the internet whenever someone said anything remotely critical about him. He often messages these people, threatens, bullies and manipulates them and gets them to take down whatever video / post they made about him. It's why he had such a bulletproof public image for a while
It's because he views women as a commodity and not as people. Just like all the miniatures and collectibles he has. Another trophy that he's entitled to for having a dead youtube channel with 4mil subs at one point.
What removed any mystery to his divorce was seeing the clip of someone asking him to talk about the situation with his wife he was making public prior, most of the chat seemed to tell him not to and that it was a violation of her privacy and trust, and he said it was only a small thing before bringing up something incredibly intimate that may or may not even be true in the first place. Instant karma, though. I don't understand this man-child being so willing to do or say awful things to wallow in the drama, misery, and his own downfall in life.
@@zanza3762 tough luck. I also use adblocker. I pay for the internet, that's enough. That YT started implementing ads isn't anyone's problem. The amount of rampant censorship going on in the comment section, making it so that only you can see your comment (can't even name it properly) etc. and unskippable ads is something I won't tolerate - THAT is unfair; some topics are completely off limits, even though they are very relevant and sweeping the problem under the rug is making it worse. Adblock isn't unfair, it exists for a purpose. Half or more people use it. At this point they can just disable comments, or enable only emoticons. Boogie sounds like the prime example of a person who, for any reason, isn't someone you can feel sorry for him or be bothered to help him because you'd be just as well off setting the money on fire.
@@AtheistJr I'm confident that they meant his current situation, not his childhood. Boogie's problem is that he'd rather cling to being a victim his whole life instead of moving on and fixing himself up. So many of us have dealt with trauma in our lives and childhoods too, but we still have a personal responsibility to take care of ourselves and make the best of what we have. Boogie 100% just wants the attention of being an eternal victim of life. Almost all of his problems now have been self-inflicted, and instead of holding himself accountable and make smarter decisions, he'd rather just continue drowning in the pity pool and taking advantage of the pure-hearted people who feel sorry for him.
Mushrooms have actually been shown to have very powerful therapeutic qualities. They help a lot of people. The issue with Boogie is that most of his problems seem to have pretty straightforward solutions and he just won't make the obvious adjustments he needs to make.
Mushrooms require professional supervision in a controlled environment, though, and can only be a part of a therapy, not replace it. Going out in the woods with some random dude to 'reset the mind' in Boogie's case seems just like another half-assed attempt to take the easiest way possible and miraculously fix everything overnight.
@@PlgDctrno one said it was a miracle cure. But it has helped people with addiction problems and combat veterans with PTSD. It also cost as much as a 24 pack of decent beer.
@PlgDctr I disagree. I haven't taken them in almost a decade, and I can't speak for everyone, but I had some of the most lasting, positive experiences of my life on mushrooms and in the woods. I do agree though, Boogie seems to be using them for the wrong reasons. Who knows, maybe they will help him come to some hard realizations.
@@PlgDctrheavily agree, Ive dropped shrooms and I can say they definitely did help me gain a new perspective on my life, but to say that’s why my problems were solved would be disingenuous, because changing my behavior was an ongoing thing I had to work on daily while being sober. Most people who claim to be cured of their mental illness the instant they dropped shrooms are not putting in the day to day work required to change.
Boogie is a constant reminder to be a better version of yourself, lest you become a pathetic shell of a person with no redeeming qualities. Thank you Boogie.
I still have issues with self-confidence/esteem, but I'm still doing my best to get into the film/tv industry and working out to be a bodybuilder. Having a supportive boyfriend helps, especially one who will tell you what you need to hear, call you out when you deserve it, and won't be that boyfriend who will just tell you what you want to hear.
29:25 That breakdown is freaking insane. 2000$ on food alone? What? Also very convient that it ends up at exact 0, almost like those numbers are totally made up or something!
Boogie is the proof of the depth of human kindness, bc people still keep trying to help him when every bad thing he has experienced has been his own fault. There are much better people who are in worse situations but they get overlooked and ignored bc they aren't internet famous. Be nice if all the donations Boogie gets go to actual charities.
@@jongameaddict Last time I checked, not only is 95% of the "fan"base ironic, but it seems said "fans" just wanna watch Nikocado eat himself to death for the fun of it or something. Welp, at least Nikocado could provide SOME form of comedy.
The last few years I have noticed a LOT of people online trying to make people feel bad for them, and it is frustrating how often it works. It is especially frustrating how difficult it makes it to identify real victims. Very emotionally draining.
The way I look at him is both as a victim and a perpetrator, as is so often the case with people with various mental illnesses. I don't believe Boogie _wants_ to hurt people, but he does, and that makes it twice as sad. So at least for me, I feel sorry for him at the same time as I think he's harmful.
The thing about Boogies current girlfriend is that if he REALLY loved her like he said he does, he would be going out of his way to manage his health and financial problems so he could be there for her longer. Because at the rate his health is going, she's going to be in her 20's or 30's when he inevitably ends up dying. She's made it very clear that she can't live without him and that she's an emotionally distraught trauma survivor. And Boogie is just dragging her along for the ride just so he could have a hot piece of ass to comfort him in his final hours and nothing more. What happens when he dies and she goes back to being depressed? What if she ends up taking her own life at the thought of not being with him anymore? Is he completely fine abandoning her like this? Comforting someone you love who's sad and depressed just so they can go back to being sad and depressed? Absolutely fucking sickening!
@@JasonmakesvideoIf obese people really did want to stay alive for their loved ones, they’d do it. Nothing manipulative about that fact just because it is phrased with the same words that a real manipulator would use. In the context of being obese, which is a choice no matter how you want to paint it, it is not manipulative to think that if someone truly wanted to be alive with you, that they’d do whatever possible to make sure they keep their word. boogie: boo hoo i have health issues i will die on u boo hoo also boogie: orders half of taco bell and two appetizers before a 5 course meal. I think your idea of what constitues manipulation is a little misdirected at those of us who call out the professional self inflicted victim that is boogie2988. those of us who have survived manipulative relationships know that boogie just loves that this poor girl is truly upset and sorry for him, that his death finally will matter to someone and he loves that he has the capacity to break her spirit and that until he dies, she will be there crying and hurting over it. because that is what he lives for.
@@JasonmakesvideoYou're really going to call me a manipulater for speaking the ugly truth about him? What I said about him wasn't manipulation or slander. It was a statement based on his past behavior. The dude doesn't want to go through the simple task of regaining his former subscribers trust and managing his wealth, why should we believe that he would make an effort to be there for his current lover longer? Do not defend Boogie, he doesn't deserve a redemption. And it's not my fault he has led his audience astray SO MANY TIMES that it's impossible for anyone who ever watched him to have any sympathy for him anymore.
Dont think it's a case of "she can't live without him", more a case of "Boogie has _convinved_ her that she cannot live without him". She needs to leave him and build her life up without him.
I grew up with a few self destructive "pity me" types who used gaslighting and manipulation to get the attention they want. I even was a people pleaser as a teenager and fell for it growing up. Now once I realize that's what's going on I loose any and all sympathy I have for the person. They know they're in an unfilling hole, they know they should do something about it, but don't care to better themselves and instead expect the world around them to cater to them. It's pure entitlement and they only end up reaping what they sow if they never change, especially when combined with what seems like a pathological need to lie.
Honestly it's better to learn to spot this behavior in an online personality than get sucked in by someone like that IRL. I was a people pleaser too, but now I can cut people off just like that if I sniff bullshit. I don't have the time and energy anymore for self pitying bad people. No tolerance either.
Yeah I was one of those people pleasers who sympathized with others way too early. As an adult I'm still like that, but at least smart enough to process what's going on and prevent myself from being taken advantage of. And I've had a pretty rough go at life lately. Was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis a few years ago and recently fell off a roof. The difference between most people and Boogie, is I despise sympathy, even though I'm probably deserving of it. I hate that people feel sorry for me and take pity, and I don't even like discussing my issues and just want to move on ... Boogie though, you know he'd have a GoFundMe and for a year straight he'd be making videos about his troubles and he'd be begging for money in the name of charity. It's pathetic and I'll never consider those kinda guys to be real men, cause they're not.
Such a shame, there for a while it seemed like he was finally starting to turn his life around. Got his teeth fixed, had weight reduction surgery, was in a stable relationship. Really sucks to see him take such a drastic turn for the worse
In the documentary, there's litteraly a shot of him crying about his health and immediately cuts to boogie chugging mtn dew first thing he gets up. Like, I'm litteraly grossed out at the idea of drinking soda at 8 am and he doesn't even find it strange.
If Boogie feels that concerned about how his health affects his girlfriend, then he would stop eating Taco Bell 3x a day. But he doesn’t actually care. It’s just a way to control her
As someone painfully, woefully close to being this man.. Watching this documentary, it makes me feel like i am watching one about myself. It's.. very depressing, to realize in the moment the kind of person you are, and to see yourself (at least where you are headed) in the future.. It really makes you think. it really makes you hurt.

@@MrCmon113 I can not agree with you. It's not like that. Men are not manipulators just because they talk about their feelings. Boogie is. I wouldn't put an equal sign between these two issues. Get someplace he can easily move around in and doesn't need help cleaning.

This is a good reminder for people to learn how to identify patronizing, narcissistic, etc behavior so that they can avoid people who exhibit that and prevent being manipulated by them. Great job Muta
The saddest thing about all of this is that I used to have personal friends like Boogie. People who would be in very bad spots in their lives, but regardless of how many opportunities, possibilities, chances you gave them they simply would refuse to get help. You will just get an entire barrage of excuses that all start with "I cant because . . . "
Yeah and a lot of people can't understand what this feels like and how it hurts to feel mentally paralyzed. They can't understand because...
I can so relate. I had a freind I met on discord who had a shitty living situation so I paid for his moving expenses to move across country to live with his internet girlfriend another friend I met on Discord infact I met her first. Anyways he had every opportunity to get a GED or to get a job or to apply for dissability but instead he does nothing all day and yells at his girlfriend and she is too afraid to leave. It's really depressing. Never help these people they will destroy themselves and your loved ones.
"I can't because I'm fkin' stupid"
Maybe and hear me out. Some lives are just too hard to live. You might not feel this personally because you have a life worth living due to how it's set up. Not to say you possibly haven't struggled but there's levels to it and tiers.
Yeah, when I was younger, I used to have such friends too, but I don't tolerate that kind of people since long ago. I don't need such people in my life. And if anyone want me to help, they will have to show me proofs they want to do better.
My only problem with these videos about Boogie is that it’s exactly what he wants. He wants the attention, he doesn’t care that it’s negative
THIS!
If we all just pretended that he doesn't exist, he wouldn't have a platform for much longer.
Sure he'd probably unalive himself, but at this point it's probably the only way he's going to help himself.
And its what SomeOrdinaryGamers wants. That's why Boogie was eager to see that documentary release.

In his case, food too.
I believe the phrase you're looking for is "cautionary tale"

The part of the documentary that really got to me, while talking about his girlfriend, he said something along the lines of “If I died it would just destroy her life”.
We all know it wouldn’t, it would set her free from his manipulation, but that’s what he has convinced her of. He’s barely a human, she’s barely an adult. It’s insane and pure evil.

Boogie sounds like the prime example of a person who, for any reason, isn't someone you can feel sorry for him or be bothered to help him because you'd be just as well off setting the money on fire.
Boogie is one of those rare people who really deserve everything bad that happens to them, because he deliberately invites it in.
Well now I wouldn't say that about his childhood stuff. Unless you mean like, what is happening now.

Exactly. They should be legal in all states and used by licenced therapists to treat their patients.
@@PlgDctrheavily agree, Ive dropped shrooms and I can say they definitely did help me gain a new perspective on my life, but to say that’s why my problems were solved would be disingenuous, because changing my behavior was an ongoing thing I had to work on daily while being sober.
Here's the trick. Don't send them any money. Send them a link to a self help book or job interview book
We just had a girl get sentenced for pretending to have cancer here in Iowa. The cringe is real
That "if he really loved her" stuff is not productive, it's what manipulators say
Yeah, he clearly isn't interested in her well-being outside of when he needs her to serve a function *for him*
@@JasonmakesvideoIf obese people really did want to stay alive for their loved ones, they’d do it. Nothing manipulative about that fact just because it is phrased with the same words that a real manipulator would use. boogie: boo hoo i have health issues i will die on u boo hoo
also boogie: orders half of taco bell and two appetizers before a 5 course meal.
Wait he had a weight reduction surgery????
In the documentary, there's litteraly a shot of him crying about his health and immediately cuts to boogie chugging mtn dew first thing he gets up. Like, I'm litteraly grossed out at the idea of drinking soda at 8 am and he doesn't even find it strange.
If Boogie feels that concerned about how his health affects his girlfriend, then he would stop eating Taco Bell 3x a day. But he doesn’t actually care. It’s just a way to control her
As someone painfully, woefully close to being this man.. Watching this documentary, it makes me feel like i am watching one about myself.
