This time we take a look at what appears to be a recent documentary made on Boogie2988 which showcases his rather dark side to a whole bunch of new viewers. Why he thought this was a good idea is beyond me but it prompted me to re-examine this individual and see why he fell from grace. Thanks for watching!

Boogie walked into that job consultation fully expecting and WANTING her to tell him "it's hopeless, you can't get a job." Instead, she saw through his narcissism immediately and told him, "Actually, you CAN get a job, as long as you cut the crap." He just wanted an excuse to stop trying. She didn't let him off the hook that easily.

But while most people think of malignant narcissists like Jada Pinkett Smith, a fragile narcissist is usually depressed and has low self-esteem but believes they're important enough for people to simply honor and respect them for simply existing.

Honestly, if I were in Boogie's shoes, it would be personally embarrassing for me. I can't even imagine forcing an escort to quit, especially since they are likely to perform acts that are uncommon in regular relationships. I'm curious to know what Boogie did that was beyond her limits, which led her to quit although you did say he's not the sole reason .
Despite the terrible experience, I'm glad that something positive came out of it, and she was able to use the pay to finish her degree.

It's so fucking surreal looking at how Boogie is now (and apparently secretly always was), and how he seemingly was back then. I really liked him back in the day, he seemed so charming, heartfelt and sincere that I found it impossible not to root for him.
I feel so stupid for ever liking him.

He sucked us all in dude. I've even shed tears for the guy before. I feel personally hurt by him tbh, he's a very dangerous person, the amount of people he can reach and the influence he has is quite scary given the kind of guy he is. His young girlfriend needs to get away from him before he destroys her, like his ex wife did.
Don't feel bad, I think he's what people have pointed out a fragile or covert narcissist. They are masters of manipulating you into their world view and it takes a long time to unwind that. People have been slowly seeing the cracks form for years and years. This was the breaking point, the veil is gone.

Boogie is one of those people who is addicted to being sick. He loves to tell people about how unwell he is without the willingness (or lack of willpower) to change it.
This is the most accurate assessment. He clearly enjoys playing the victim and guilt tripping his viewers into feeling sorry for him. Complaining about his life was pretty much 99% of his youtube content , and now as hes in a much better position, he has nothing left to complain about.
As someone who deals with insecurity and self worth issues, boogie is a strong motivator to work on yourself

Boogie is the embodiment of I can't and I won't and it's honestly sad and pathetic. I've always had an issue with ppl like him who complain about weight or their job or anything really they have the power to fix yet....dont.
I remember a video of Boogie's where he was saying, regarding weight loss, (paraphrasing) "I've tried everything! None of it works." The first thought I had was, "Did you try being consistent?" That's all it takes, is a little effort over a long enough timeline.
Then for the boxing match, Boogie was just absolute trash. Either whoever trained him did a horrible job, or Boogie didn't apply himself ever at all. I think given his track record, we all know what the answer is.
Crazy thing is he went full on defensive mode on social media and people defended him too. This man won't be able to find self-improvement if he keeps finding bubbles to hide in.

Boogie has had an inconceivable amount of chances and opportunities to not just improve but easily improve, laid in front of him.
I would argue that he is one of the most lucky people ive ever seen and he squanders all of it without even a second thought.
As someone tryna lose weight myself, if i had no job, no real or serious fiscal burdens/responsibilities, and a renown training coach. I think it would be infinitely easier to do so. I honestly believe it would be a no brainer. Like the work will still suck but since its the only thing id need to focus on it would still be easily doable.
So many manage weight loss without all of the shit that boogie was just given yet he "cant" (its very clear that he doesnt want or care to).
I feel so badly for his girlfriend. Her heart is in the right place, but somebody in her life needs to tell her that this relationship is not good for her. The way boogie emotionally manipulates her by remindering her that he will die soon is so disgusting. He’s trying to mentally break her into submission. He's but a victim of his own doing, and as such needs help just the same, to eventually help himself - as we all captain our own ship. Whether one sails through the storms outside, or inside, doesn't matter. The documentary ends with him having come to a point of regained happiness and control over himself - things he was missing for a long time. Practice compassion, even for those who might seem unworthy of it, for even they can make a turn around and be the light to others by applying what they've come to learn through hardships themselves.

I work in fraud and cyber crime, and "I have my way young, kinda naive girlfriend's ID in my wallet" just screams "My credit blows because of my bad choices, so I'm opening accounts in her name to pay my lifestyle" but I'm obviously paranoid.
It really is all about the mind set. I used to say "I cant" and it kept me in a bad mental place. But once i stopped saying "I cant" and started saying "I can", I will", "I must" i found that i could do anything i set my mind too.

He was, one of the best things about boogie was that he had a pov that most humans on the planet simply cannot have, so although he often wasn't a good inspiration we could look at him as a bad example. The problems he talked about the issues that excessive weight, neglecting your mental and physical health brings down to even not taking care of your teeth.
If nothing else he is good to learn from for people who are like 300lbs and depressed who realise if they continue along the same path their could be 600lbs and depressed like boogie and if they still have their youth that they can turn that shit around.
He is a vulnerable narcissist. For most people it is really really hard to see trough a narcissist and catch their patterns and behavior. Of course people pitied him at first because of his weight and his stories that is completely relatable. Then seeing how he seemingly improved listening to his stories about mental health improvement which easily gives people the idea that he is genuine. But at least that's my idea of it.
On the "if he cheated one" comment
This is heart breaking to hear and reminds me a lot of a relationship I once had, one where I was the problem. My girlfriend at the time said that to me "if you cheated on me if probably forgive you" it's codependency it's not healthy, in my experience it comes from one side coming out of a toxic relationship eventually she might pass through it but until that point it's going to be a very one sided relationship and that's before the age difference, this is not going to end well and I hope she's ok
As someone who managed to get out of a spiral and really turn my life around and into someone really, truly enjoyable, Boogie has no idea what he's missing out on. If he knew, he wouldn't make excuses to not do anything about any of his issues.

I used to work in call centers surrounded by many of the most broken people on the planet and none of them were as aggressively self destructive as Boogie is. I kept looking at all the stuff he's got and thinking how much he could just sell off and be in a better financial situation. It reminded me of a former friend who's also in her 50s who's also horrible with making financial decisions. I remember when she got a settlement check, blew it all on an expensive Dr. Who sonic screwdriver and a set of cat ears that apparently respond to your brain waves. Not even a week later she was crying about not being able to make her rent. Boogie's the one you point to and say 'see this guy, don't be this guy'.

But he's at the point where he doesn't have the luxury of waiting to land a big sell. He could craigslist them for a couple hundred and that's better than them as they are now. Same for a lot of his stuff, can garage sale or craigslist for whatever he can get for them.

I didn’t need the documentary to tell me Boogie had low testosterone. I think we were all aware of that.

He CAN get psychological support from a therapist and work on his body to eliminate all that fat and become healthier. It is NEVER too late to take care of your health. The only unmanageable health condition is death. He is just always throwing a pity party and never taking accountability for his situation. Boogie deserves to be in this situation if he refuses to work on improving himself.

I was never too healthy but I wasn't huge or anything abnormal. Sweets on weekends, could lose some weight, etc. My health started to turn bad a year ago with still an unknown illness. It was a huge wake up call to the fit life and honestly it really is a life changer. It doesn't directly help my current illness but I feel so better and recover faster from the episodes now. And just giving it your all is very cathartic. The sight of boogie for me is something I can not even begin to comprehend.

Yeah the part in the documentary where boogie tells his girlfriend all the ways that his health is failing, was some of the most gross, manipulative shit that I've ever seen from him. So much of his health situations can be improved and turned around, but he chooses not to do it. Seeing her be manipulated in such a way to where she's fine staying with him if he cheats on her, all the while she's out there cleaning his house and mowing his yard, was just infuriating.
Totally right. It takes a disciplined head space but you can shed pounds quite easy just by sticking to a healthy diet for a month or two. When I was watching this documentary, I was screaming to my monitor "just sell the damn house". And when he was talking to his girlfiend and telling her that he is ticking time bomb I was just done with him. So manipulative. He is acting like this is some kind of tragic love story, like he has some kind of disease that cannot be treated. It can be fixed. Loosing weight and eating disorder are really hard. But it can be done. He just refuse to help himself.

The "obesity epidemic" in the US is a multifaceted issue with many reasons as to why it's happening, ranging from some people living in food deserts to a lot of healthier food being more expensive to working-class people opting for fast food due to lack of time.
Boogie doesn't have any excuse; he has more than enough money to buy any kind of healthy food he wants and he would have plenty of time to prepare these meals. If his unhealthy eating habits are related to mental health struggles like he has claimed in the past, he has all the time and money he needs to see a specialist.
Yet Boogie has never attempted any of these things despite having all the resources he could ever need. Why? He genuinely doesn't care about getting better, he wants to stay the perpetual victim.

Imagine seeing this when you have an executive dysfunction disorder that is notoriously dismissed by most practictioners. I have ADHD and have been damaged by antipsychotics being given to me wrongly despite having a childhood diagnosis and record of successful treatment for ADHD using stimulants.
If you told me there was a way to restart my life without having ADHD I would ask what I had to do as I would quite literally be willing to potentially end someone to be able to just have been born without the detriments and without the weird thoughts that I should hold back on account of some people who have less mental faculties or might bully me, an annoying symptom of ADHD is heightened sensitivity to rejection so you end up trying to people please especially if you are like me who has parents that are never satisfied or gave any form of congratulations for achievement as such would only come from teachers or peers. So I valued friends above most family as my sister took after my father and they lack the ability for self reflection to identify that their actions of control and pressure helped create monsters
