    Good Day Atty. Thank you for explaining and elaborating to us the lesson about prosecution. I've learned that the first prosecution in the Philippines was DOJ (Department of Justice). You also told us the task of National prosecution service was to be the prosecutorial arm of the of the government under the supervision and control of DOJ. The function of the prosecutor with the Acronym of PIRLA, 1.To conduct Preliminary Investigation (PI)
    2 To make proper recommendation during Inquest of a case.3.To represent the Government or state during the prosecution of the case.4. To act as law officer of the province or city in the absence of Legal Officer. 5. To investigate Administrative cases filed against State Prosecutors. Lastly, All criminal actions will be prosecuted under his control. You added that when the victim hire a private prosecutor he will be under the control of the public prosecutor. The private prosecutor concern was all bout the civil liability and like what you have said public prosecutor concern was all about criminal liability. I am looking forward for more discussion about prosecution. Thank you so much Atty. God Bless

    Good afternoon Atty! I learned a lot of data in this discussion such as the PIRLA, the function of the prosecutor, and also I learned that the criminal action shall be prosecuted under the control of the public prosecutor. This discussion made a clear distinction between the Private Prosecutor and a Public Prosecutor, the concern of a private prosecutor is with civil liability while in a public prosecutor the criminal liability is the primary concern.

    Greetings attorney! For this lesson I learned agencies, functions and criminal cases in terms of prosecution. The National Prosecution Service is under the Department of Justice who prosecutes the criminal case. I also learned that the functions of the prosecution are to conduct a preliminary investigation, make proper recommendation during the inquest of a case, this also represents the government or the people of the Philippine in a Criminal case, they also stand as law officers in the absence of the legal officer and last but not least is the investigation of administrative cases filed against state prosecutors. When prosecuting a criminal action, the public prosecutor is there but the person has also the right to hire a private prosecutor to prosecute the case and fight for the civil liability while the public prosecutor will fight for criminal liability. Thank you po atty and Godbless 😇

    > Sir, good day! Thank you very much for sharing this information with us. This video has taught me a lot. First, I learned that the Department of Justice is our government's primary prosecutorial agency (DOJ). The Department of Justice supervises and controls the national prosecutor's office. I've also learnt about the PIRLA, which are the functions of a prosecutor. Finally, I learned about the public prosecutor and the distinction between a private and a public prosecutor. A public prosecutor is a person who prosecutes criminal acts or is concerned about the possibility of criminal liability. While a private prosecutor is concerned about civil liability, a public prosecutor is not.

    Lesson #2.
    Goodafternoon, Atty. Through this video, I've learned that National Prosecution Service is an agency of the government which is under the supervision and control of the Department of Justice. It is charged as a prosecutorial arm of the government.
    I've also learned the functions of a prosecutor which is
    (a) To Conduct preliminary investigation;
    (b) To make proper recommendations during the inquest of a case;
    (c) To represent the government or state during the prosecution of the case;
    (d) To act as Law Officer of the province or city in the absence of Legal Officer;
    (e) To investigate Administrative cases filed against State Prosecutors.
    I've also learned that all criminal actions either commenced by complaint or by information shall be prosecuted under the direction and control of a public prosecutor.
    If one can afford the services of a private prosecutor, he will be assisted by him. But still, a private prosecutor is under the supervision and control of a public prosecutor. The concern of a private prosecutor is civil liability, while the public prosecutor is criminal liability.
    Thank you for sharing this kind of information to us ❤️

    Good day atty. Thank you for boosting and enhancing my knowledge about the given topic which is Prosecution. I have learned that the National prosecution service is under supervision and control of the department of justice and also they are the one who's responsible in prosecution. In the function of prosecution I gained knowledge about the prosecutor that they are the lawyer or representative of the government and the people of Philippines, so one's a prosecutor became an offender then his/her companion has the capability and rights to investigate him/her. In addition all provinces has their own city or province legal officer but if they're absent during the day of the consultation they can consult to a prosecutor because he's the one who do the role of the officer. Lastly, I've learned that public prosecutor has the most power to prosecute criminal actions due to as I said before that they are the representative of the government and the people of the Philippines their work is to fight for the criminal liability, while the private prosecutor is still under control and under direction of the public prosecutor, they also fight for the civil liability. Thank you again atty!
