Nourish's base duration is 25s, the same as the arcane. So you can get Viral and Corrosive without having to mod a single element onto your actual melee.
And u can put the radiation mod so u have a 3rd combined element for only 1 mod. Maybe also use a weapon that comes with an innate element on it. We're getting to some kuva weapon levels of elements on a single weapon lmao
Fun fact: with this, plus the new Radiation mod and Nourish you can now mod for Gas/Magnetic and have 5 of the 6 combined elements on a melee weapon. Not sure how good this actually is, but it sounds like the kind of dumb fun I look for in melee XD
I've been using it on my Tatsu Prime build i already had for casters. Works well for little fuss. I still think my favorite of the group is Animosity. I LOVE the mechanics of a bunch of hits building to a thermonuclear heavy attack. With Tennokai, it becomes a lottery. The longer you go without an opportunity, the harder it will hit when Tennokai triggers.
The real lottery is having a worthwhile target in front of you in that second of the proc, most of my Tennokai attacks just overkill some poor bastard my normal attack would have oneshot regardless...it's still fun to do though.
I use it on nourish Khora. I don't even mod an element on the stat stick so I can fit on more gladiator mods and weeping wounds (at max combo its almost 300% status with my mod setup so I can proc the 2 elements and a slash reliably) That is if they even survive the first hit. It 1 shots acolytes too At max combo if they're caught in strangledome I've seen over 20m red crits .
Genuinely hoping this is the final nail in the coffin for stat-sticks. God-Emperor Rebecca already mentioned she hates them so I guess it's just a matter of time
thing is she can hate stat sticks all she wants if she nerfs them that means Atlas dies along with Gara and Khora in terms of usage because without the damage stacking behind using a stat stick+Eclipse her ability to delete enemies by walking passed them dies and Atlas's fists become nothing more than throwing 3 leaf clovers at a watermelon in short she needs to not become like Scott and nerf things just because she doesn't like them otherwise that will lead to massive amounts of backlash she doesn't need to be dealing with
Same. DE reworked most stat-stick abilities long ago, this arcane doesn't work on Baruuk, Excalibur, Valkyr 4th abilities and whichever ones I'm missing that let you MOD the exalted weapon directly. It only works on ones listed on the video such as Atlas, Khora and Gara due to their 1st ability scaling off current melee build but not being directly moddable themselves. It'd be nice if those "pseudo exalted" weapons also got the same rework so we can mod them too without needing to gimp our melee weapon. EDIT: ONLY downside is exalted weapons don't have access to arcanes so they will not benefit from arcane exposure. Only crescendo will help them if built for it and you go out of your way to stack it.
They hated them for years, it was never meant to be that way, they just don't know yet how to cut it out without killing the body(aka make pseudo exalteds really bad and damage 10 other game systems via spaghetti code interaction).. @nadaburner Pretty sure it works on Baruuk and Khora, i would be surprised if it didn't work on anything else melee, even ranged abilities that the system categorizes as melee for some reason get affected by those Arcanes(see Melee Influence content).
Its also my favourite Melee Arcane in terms of damage enhancement, because it simply counts for all Melee weapon (when you can at least cast ability's often enough). IMO it might be even more useful than "Melee Duplicate". Sadly i could not test it yet since the weekly droprate is brokenly low and therefore also unaffordable. But when you think about it, it makes less sense... to only rely on yellow crits to get a double hit... I mean, you need to avoid orange and red. Which is also questionable since a orange-crit is basically a double yellow crit.. So for me, it would make more sense, to just enhance those orange and red crits with more damage, like with “Exposure”.

I feel like all arcanes in the game should be easier to acquire at this point. They're becoming such a fundamental part of so many builds now that it seems silly to continue to hard RNG lock them like they have in the past. The new update is a change in a positive direction. The game is already extremely grindy with too many dailies to keep up with. Hard RNG locking all the arcanes is just abusive. I like the idea of making all the melee mods so accessible. Maybe DE is become less greedy and more mindful of their extremely predatory market practices. Just maybe.
We just got Arcane dissolution, and they are anyways the pinnacle power grind in the game. Warframe abaolutely doesn't need another era of freely hand-out loot

Between the option to have only a certain type of critical hit buffed or being confined to a heavy attack setup (with the arcanes for these being too goddamn hard to come by) I would much rather save 2 mods slots and just get free damage on a melee weapon, for a fraction of the investment.

If you use the one that speeds electric and put it on a melee with forced electric procs...you can run whatever and still get the arcanes bonus.....most forced electric proc weapons have high status at base so youll proc both regularly Exposure is my preferred option though
Exposure and the addition of the new fused shards has turned my beloved ice cube on a stick incarnon from a damageless triple exclamation mark red critting ice cube on a stick (at least against grineer) to a red critting ice cube on a stick that actually feels somewhat nice to use. Love the new additions for melee.
Not gonna lie, it's a little confusing that melee EXPOSURE, coming from the place with the radiation warframe, gives CORROSIVE damage on ability cast... Why not radiation...?
Its best if you go for raw dmg whioclaw, for example. But slash based scales better into higher lvls. And since the arcane corro dmg works as if you added 240% worth of elem mods so it crashes with slash weight making slash stat stick impossible. Bit nerdy talk
I mean 99% of people aren't gonna need a slash whipclaw. I've oneshot acolytes in 30 minute void survival with raw dmg whipclaw builds, so outside of longer endurance runs why run slash?

One missing detail : excaliburs slash dash also profits from statsticks so he has both pseudoexalted weapon scaling for his 1 and an actual exalted weapon
Hitting enemy with melee light attack have 15% chance to trigger tennokai, tennokai itself is a buff where you get to do 1 heavy attack without spending any of your combo your recticle and warframe will glow if this buff is active and you only have around 1 to 2 second window to do the free heavy attack

I've been using melee retaliation it really bumps up your stats ,when you put melee exposure it dramatically reduces stats
