    Thank you! I’m having a lot of good fortune finally being free from grains (due to your work) and being cautious around vegetable oils, maltodextrin and the like, but I don’t have any numbers to provide about my changes, because I avoid conventional medicine (which is why I lived longer than I should have based on my body and the shape it was in), which is and has been inconvenient and expensive anyway.
    Otherwise, great stuff, as always.

    Thank you so much Dr. Berg! I tell everyone about you and how much better I feel when I utilize your advice. I do want to add one thing. I had a dry spot on my lower lip for many years. I tried everything on the market to no avail. When I visited my Dermatologist I mentioned this to her. She was not at all concerned but did a biopsy anyway. Well, I had Squamous Cell Carcinoma and had to have it removed and my lip reconstructed. Please always remember to make sure you are covering your lips with a sunscreen when you go outside!

    Awesome video and amazing information as usual Dr B! Thank you. I'm African-American so sometimes it's hard to tell what's going on with my lips specifically but I take all these premises and will apply them as needed. But I wanted to say that since I started taking cod liver oil, nutritional yeast, keto energy, the cruciferous SuperFoods, and also the vitamin d and k supplements, strangely enough, I don't even have to put any lotion on my face. My skin is so soft and kind of automatically moisturized. I don't know if it's a good thing that I'm making this kind of oil production but it's been really great to not even have to worry about what to moisturize my skin with. As the summer goes forward, thinking about sunscreens and things like that will be interesting, but I have a feeling you have some great information on natural sunscreens from food and vitamins. I've actually heard that astaxanthin or astaxanthin supplements are really great for a natural sunscreen. But just wanted to say thank you and that you're the best!

The meds alone required are enough to give an alligator digestive problems. Start religiously with pro and pre..biotics.Raw Kambucha drinks once a day are delicious and very helpful as well as Braggs Vinigar Tonics...most of these are refrigerated in almost all supermarkets. The vinegar tonics are made to taste quenching and refreshing ice cold. Not puckery at all and last of all... the Kevita products (Supermarket produce) are Great. They also have fantastic vinegar tonics with tumeric and ginger and elderberry added. Tumeric (helps inflamation a lot) and Ginger (Aids digestion and nausea)they come in suppliments too... or add to food. Check with doctor first. If you can..give it a whirl...It's really helped aleviate so much of these symptoms in a very short time!

    I'm extremely chemically sensitive and have been for 20 years. I do liver cleanses every so often and try to be CAUSE over the situation as much as I can, but that has not totally solved the issue. Staying away from as many chemicals as I can has been the best solution so far. But some interesting things happen to me when I get chemical exposure from something: I can taste it in my mouth within a few minutes and my lips dry up, turn white and just slightly burn. I normally know what might bother me but starting in 2017, I noticed something that I couldn't quite pinpoint. Through a long process of elimination, I finally identified what it was in 2019 as it got worse and worse: my cellphone. I have allergic responses now to lithium-ion batteries. These batteries vapor. And the larger the phone, the worse the vapor. The average person cannot detect it (although some people occasionally do if you Google "What is that smell coming out of my phone"). It apparently took a few years to sneak up on me and now it's so bad, I had to ditch my phone in 2020. If I am around anything or anyone with a lithium-ion battery now in an un-ventilated space, my lips are my first warning signs to beat feet. Hope this helps anyone else experiencing something they can't identify.

    In the past, I frequently consumed fruits and vegetables as part of my morning routine. However, I began experiencing a disconcerting phenomenon where my lips would exhibit a bluish hue after consuming these items approximately two years ago. Subsequently, I discovered that I had developed an allergic reaction, with a heightened sensitivity to various substances, particularly fruits and vegetables. Upon further reflection, I came to understand that my consumption of fruits and vegetables had inadvertently exposed me to excessive levels of pesticides and chemicals, thus jeopardizing my well-being. Additionally, I have gained insight into the underlying cause of my lip discoloration during the ingestion of these food items. Food has tob chmal free and mold free order to healp you heal.

    I considered myself "addicted" to Blistex at one time in my life. I had a pot of it everywhere and was constantly smearing it on my lips. When I learned that this was actually drying out my lips, I stopped and used a thin coating of vaseline. After a month or so, I would use less and less vaseline as my lips were not nearly as dry. I also used natural oils like coconut oil or ghee. Helped a lot and now find I barely need it at all.

    Dr. Berg is right about vitamin A. I have had these symptoms due to vitamin A toxicity (hypervitminosis A). I have been balancing it for over 2 years now with vitamin D to reduce the toxic effects. Vitamin A has an extremely long half-life of about 5 months. I have been through 6 half-lives which should have dropped my vitamin A to about 1.5% of what it was when I started a very low vitamin A diet. However, I still have high vitamin A, and still have lots of symptoms, although I have improved markedly.

    • @caitlynnp9507
      @caitlynnp9507 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What have you been taking for your vitamin A? Are you taking a supplement or getting it from a food source? What symptoms have you had?

    • @marcv2648
      @marcv2648 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@caitlynnp9507 Supplemented Vitamin D, Vitamin K2, Magnesium primarily. I have also taken trace minerals and B-complex, but not for the entire time. I also have taken vitamin E at times which was supposed to help, but didn't seem to. My symptoms were extreme pain and bloating in my liver, gall bladder and abdomen. Bone pain in legs, back and arms. Headaches that would last for days and weeks. Huge painful lumps between my thighs that were full of blood. Calluses on my fingertips and feet. Dry skin primarily on my legs, but also arms at times. Chapped lips, receding gums. Ridges and streaking on nails. Loss of lunula on nails. Loss of body hair in various places, primarily legs. Heart racing. Probably a few more things I'm missing. These symptoms weren't all simultaneous, but they would recur repeatedly for extended periods of time.
      I first knew there was something wrong when I had what's called visual aura on about 2-3 occasions. About 9 months after that, I would regularly become instantly sleepy while driving when there was no reason for it. I actually had back pain a few years before that, but thought it was my mattress so I bought a new one which didn't help. Going to the gym seemed to help for a few years. Later on I found out this was bone pain from pelvis. I thought it was the muscles in my back before that because I didn't know what bone pain felt like.
      When I finally removed all vitamin A from diet is when symptoms became really bad. If your liver is full of vitamin A, once you stop ingesting it, your liver begins releasing it quickly.
      My symptoms are much milder now, but a lot of them have not fully dissipated even after more than 2 years. I was worried this was going to kill me or cause me to need a liver transplant over 2 years ago. I was never an unhealthy person before this, and always physically fit with no health issues at all. I believe my problem came from years of a daily high quality concentrated epa/dha supplement (derived from fish oil from a pricey retailer known for longevity research) as well as diet with a very high amount of high-fat dairy and 3-4 eggs daily for years. I mention these foods because this is where all the vitamin A was coming from over the years. I'm not condemning these foods in any way, but this combination over a period of years is the only way I could have become so high in vitamin A.
      Oh, and just as a mention. These symptoms were so severe, they stopped me from working for 2 years as well.
      One last thing I forgot to mention. I did take a one -a-day multivitamin from that same high end retailer that contained 3000 iu of vitamin A. That was on and off probably about half the time over a decade.
