Flushing it all away - Jeep Wrangler Brake Fluid Flush

  • How to flush the brake fluid in your vehicle all by yourself. I show you how to do it using my 2011 Jeep Wrangler JKU but this works for most vehicles. Also talk about testing your fluid to see if you need to change it (do the tests even work?) and whether you need to do it at all if it’s not in the Owner’s Manual maintenance schedule.

Great video ED! Always very thorough and informative. Never heard of using a multimeter to check ift he brake fluid is good. That is pretty cool and i didn't know about the test strips either. As of the time I am typing this, I am in Victoria TX for a wedding. 14Hr Drive "Whew" yesterday and driving back home tonight. I love your home state BTW. Saying Hello from Texas this morning. I did stop by Buc-ee's on the way LOL.

I'm still not sure if I'm sold on the reliability/accuracy of the fluid test techniques but it's pretty interesting to keep trying it out.
We were just driving through Victoria last week for Spring Break - not too far from here! Glad you made the requisite Buc-ee's stop! Otherwise, might have to revoke your Texas Tourist Visa. :D
We might be road-trippin' ourselves this summer and passing through MS on our way up to New England.

Thanks, Jason! Yeah - visually it was pretty obvious that even if the fluid wasn’t water saturated, it was pretty dirty and good to get rid of.
Hope that TJ of yours is treating you alright.
