I love how most people look for ages for a good place to build and the joel is just like 'eh, this is fine'

Yes but pearl is on two smp s and have one mega base on hermitcraft and that is a relly big one but on empires it is a smaller

Here's a trick for anyone who wants to get silk touch: enchant a bunch of books at the same time until you get silk touch, then disenchant the other books and use the levels to add the enchant in an anvil. That way you don't have to grind away a good enchant like fortune or looting if you get it
U need like 30 levels for u to get more then two books worth of anything

I absolutely love this. SO MUCH. Its literally the same thing I've I've doing the past week in my own minecraft world, but, unlike you, I didn't plan a thing, I just winged the entire thing, came out pretty good. Its not a mega base, but its a pretty big house, it's basically the best build I've ever made.
that's what I do too. I spent three days designing a huge castle in a natural mountain and ended up not following my plan at all and building the mountain myself.

I'm worried for Joel's sanity at this point. It was one thing to build a mega base in 'how to' and 'x life', but it's a whole nother thing to build one every other week 😂

@@qwerty-em1ek it was over an hour. Which....thats so impressive especially bc he went mining and killed the enderdragon with bow. He could definitely attempt speedrunning. He would be 700+ (not exact) on the speedrunning leaderboard tho

Most people nowadays focus on grinding and getting stacked quickly, but it’s probably better just to take your time and build whatever comes to your mind!

If you would look at this base you wouldn’t believe that it’s build in survival because it’s incredible!
@@gustdev He recreated it in survival in 100 days, most likely using litematica. I'm sure the design in creative took a similar amount of time.
Don't get me wrong, it's still an impressive base, but please don't mistake it for a regular casual minecraft survival experience to this format created specifically for a video.
If you were handed the schematics (the design is of this base is really cool), you would be able to build it quickly, too (like 200-400 mc days imho).
Gotta love the grind Joel you'll do amazing things ❤

It’s a 50/50 chance to get a blaze rode as a speedrunner I suggest to get looting before attacking as it buffs the Chance a little bit

Honestly, between you guys, and primarily Grian back in the day fuelling my creativity, it is so good to be able to get back into it; and break up the mundane games I've gotten into..

3:01 There's less than a 1% (exactly 0.78125%) chance of that happening so if you create about 89 new worlds on minecraft, you have more than 50% chance of that happening to the first 7 blazes you kill. Yes, this is what I've been doing instead of studying for my statistics A level prelims.

There should be a game rule that makes tamed cats and dogs invincible. Or atleast makes it so that mobs don't aggro on your dogs.
It's just sad that you have to always leave your pets at the base if you don't want them to die.
