I'm surprised you didn't mention the 1:1 earth project. I mean it's not finished but they have whole cities completed already and all of Antarctica is finished.
As a BTE builder, that's actually a bit of a misnomer - no cities are fully complete, and all of the *buildings* in Antarctica are done, just not the terrain.

Hi - Trekcraft Builder here. Just wanted to add to your section on Halkun's Enterprise. A few inaccuracies. First off, Halkun was not the sole builder of the finished product. He had quite a large team assisting him, and he gradually lost interest and went on to do various other 3D CAD projects, which you can see on his youtube channel. After Halkun left, the team remained, and we are still going today. Not only was this iteration of the Enterprise-D completed, but another one was, and 2 more are currently under construction. There are hundreds of builds on the server and if you have any interest in Megabuilds, you should definitely check it out! The history of that server needs a video of its own to be honest...

The mega builds are what initially got me into Minecraft pretty heavily. Specifically The Enterprise, Mario art, and a Hogwarts build (built years before the one shown in the video). It’s really cool to see how far this game has come. It truly lived up to the hype, and surpassed any expectations we had on it.
It's worth noting the Enterprise D is, so far, the largest starship to carry the name being a Galaxy class ship Building that 1:1 means setting yourself the biggest challenge you could
These projects honestly made me start one of my own, with a huge band of architects on one singular goal - to recreate an entire fantasy world in modern Minecraft. I've built the most miniscule of creations in my time - some of them even recreations of buildings in the past that I've expanded upon - and even turned into my everyday workshops. From something like a Mangrove and Spruce Mansion filled with custom tinted windows, a fully decorated interior AND exterior with a working sorting system inside to the most simplistic, compact base built with all the necessities, THIS project blows anything I've built miles out of the water. Myself and 15 other builders are making a one-to-one full-scale replica of the FINAL FANTASY XVI overworld that is Valisthea, using a culmination of knowledge about how certain color pallets work to decorating the most insane true-to-life crystalline lanterns. So far, we've only completed ONE of the five key provinces - that being the Republican Province of Dhalmekia. The project is a ENORMOUS undertaking and it's not even cheated on by World Edit or Creative Mode. Pure survival, background photos as reference and a collective hivemind to bring our beloved game to the block universe. We first wanted to initiate the project after Caves and Cliffs became a thing, and have been slowly expanding upon it ever since. At a given estimation, the project will take about two years to complete yet - as I said, we're making it as true-to-life as humanly possible. Eventually, once the buildings are complete, we mean to develop a Mod Pack that will act like FF16, yet add in the Diablo-esque format of Minecraft Dungeons and the Diablo franchise - completely fit with our own designed weapons, armor and abilities to use. I hope that I can show the Minecraft universe just how far its mega builds have become, because this will be the biggest one I've ever brought into the workshop.
Imagine having the planning capability/time management skills to dedicate yourself like this. Props to the builders, wouldn’t be Minecraft without them^^
