Joel, you gotta remember that the mezalean palace didn't get finished because the end of the world happened. Otherwise, you would have filled the interior more. Even so, it is still my absolute favorite mega build of yours.

The ‘Minecraft Goals’ mega base will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m still a bit salty it never got finished but I respect Joel’s decision to end the series ☺️

I remember watching all of these series and being in awe at how amazing Joel is at building! It awesome how much he’s improved, especially with the interiors, I wish I could build like this :’)

I think you should do a recreation of the 1st one (The very first honourable mention). I would love to see what you would do now compared to then since it was so long ago, plus the 4 seasons surrounding. I feel like your building style has grown since then and it would be interesting to see.
you are genuinely one of my favourite builders, your ability to adapt to different styles is crazy good!!

Joel's building abilities both leaves me in awe and humbles me every single time
Number 1 is definitely the Mezalian palace. The scale of that build is really impressive and it’s definitely my favorite build of his (although secretly beans palace is number one because it was the first mega base he built so it holds a special place in everyone’s hearts).
i love the x life base the most. it's built with such intricacy and so much character. you can really tell how much thought was put into each feature and it never fails to amaze me every time i look back at it.
Fr I just had a throwback of all the Jeremy stuff lol. I haven't seen that base on so long j forgot how great it was
Yeah seeing it again makes me want to cry I still remember me looking forward on the next part of the base and the Jeremy thing was hilarious.

I feel like the Xlife series was definitely the start of the crazy big builds. It was so cool to see Joel’s progression throughout the years I’ve been subscribed. Amazing work on all the builds though
Those random creatures in ex-life are just so fascinating it should be like some sort of lore because that's so weird how they just are there after you are gone

your building skills always shock me. i've been playing minecraft for YEARS now and still need to look up building tutorials. my absolute favourite mega-base of yours has got to be your mezalean castle. i just started watching your empires series and i love watching different buildings filled with colour and creativity always inspires me to learn how to build like you. mad props to you joel 💚
getting to see everything outside of their respective series as a walkthrough while joel reminisces and shares bts is the best thing ever, i can’t believe how tiny the mezalea palace interior is in comparison to the actual build size!

Loving the video, but an idea for you, it would be great seeing some of your friends rank your builds.

agree with your rankings 100%!!! whenever im showing someone new your content, i ALWAYS pull up pictures of mezalea and the palace. it is SO BEAUTIFUL. even my friends who dont like minecraft are super impressed by it. its genuinely the most unique thing ive ever seen anyone make in this game, from the colors to the shape to it being in a mesa biome. it is SO COOL. i also am so excited for stratos to grow continually, too. its amazing to me how your empire has an upper and lower section. i especially love how they are different color schemes but find ways to tie into eachother and look like they are together. so glad ive found your content this past few months, you've easily become my favorite youtuber.

I feel like that’s most megabases honestly lol, unless you need a bunch of large farms that can fill up all that space
Anyone else been around Joel and Lizzie’s channels for almost a decade, and are just amazed at how much Joel’s playing and Building had progressed??? I remember when Lizzie was “better” at Mc and Joel didn’t know as much, like some of their older modded series or their older Mc videos where Lizzie would prank Joel.
My absolute favourite megabase from anything is the Mezalea Empire's Palace from season 1 of empires. It's absolutely AMAZING, props to Joel for the commitment and the SIZE. Its freaking MASSIVE!
Apart from these mega ones, I'd say Joel's bridge house in Last Life and Relation Ship in Double Life are pretty lovely as well!

what always amazed me about the mezalian palace is that it made me feel like i was looking at what the kremlin and taj mahal would look like if both of them were built together in the same style and location. it's as if you took an image of both sites and merged them together in minecraft

I agree with vertical slabs being needed in the game. I also think Mojang should add that mod where you can have different slabs of different woods in the same block as well. The creativity options with those two additions can be endless
The x-life mega base has a special place in my heart because binge-watching your series is what got me back into mcyt and has brought so much joy into my life. Praise Jeremy and happy new year 💕
I always think you're both insane and incredible to make these large builds in survival. They are amazing. Your number one is also my favorite and something I'd like to take inspiration from in the future for a build.

It was so fun seeing all of the builds I watched Joel build and the series. Smallish has awlays been an insperation and such an amazing builder for all those many, many years. XD 💖💖 I still have the world download for the 1000+ days with the detailed castle. A true pain to load but a glory none-the-less. I do not really known what build Joel has done is my favourite because they are all extroadinary.

I started as a fWhip guy. Then through Empires S1 I became a Sausage guy and still am. I remember seeing your palace and just being kinda stunned, even though I only ever saw it piece by piece. Absolutely remarkable! And as your vids pop up more and more, I guess you're my 3rd Minecraft guy.

your builds look so awesome, you really have an eye for detail and colour all the colour pallets just looked so good. Also i loved lizzies flower mod, i just wish there was a 1.19.2 version of it, but i understand a lot of work goes into making a mod, but i was a really beautiful mod, you and lizzie are both very talented people.

I have Joel to thank for my love of building in minecraft. As someone who often needs a creative outlet wherever I am its amazing being able to just sit back and watch his videos while I work on my own builds
The builds are all amazing and so much work, and trying to fill out all the in sides as with mezalian palace is hard you did a lot of the interior of most of the builds a achievement in it self, every build has been different and I have enjoyed seeing them all come to life 😎.

The one you made in Grian's 100 day hardcore video series is genuinely a very solid build. It may not be as gigantic or impressive as some of your others, but it's definitely a full package of a build, complete in every detail on every direction (Even if the full interior never saw the light of day in the actual series itself) and overall extremely pleasing looking.
I love your builds, and your empires season 1 base is probably my favorite
having just rewatched empires s1, you still marvelling at the mezalian palace now and how many blocks was great. I was half expecting a "this is how many shulker boxes this took"

Your 100 days series is one of the first Minecraft TH-cam videos I watched. I instantly fell in love with the game and your community slowly expanding out to Hermitcraft, Empires, and the life series.
the mezalean palace definitely holds my heart, it´s just so dang impressive with the style and beautiful shapes! but it was soooo nostalgic seeing the x-life base, i really love the interior there bcz it´s just so lush with the garden stuff! i also love how that build had a kinda religious vibes to it, reminds me of islamic mosques with their grandeur beauty
