    Ok, thanks for this video sir, however, i figured out the important questions that are not specific in this video as we are not automotive electricoans, when you cut the dark blue A2 wire grey connector and the LIGHT green A7 wire brown connector, at the bcm (body control Module) you ground the side of the wire that is NOT going back to the BCM so Harness side to ground on A2 dark blue and same on A7 wire light green, this wire, get yourself a piece of wire and rout it to the radio steering wheel key + wire WITHOUT THE # SIMBOL, hope this clears up wat my dumb ass could understand just from " doing what he did on the video" ither way thanks for making the vide, with a slight understanding of automotive electrical i figured it out. O and i left the steerign wheel controll harness i payed 70dollars for, worked just fine, allowed me to keep the chimes and whatnot just stuff it all behind the radio, clean dont be pigs 😅

    You're a life saver! I fought the Axxess module for hours before I found this video, and it worked right away. Now I wish I hadn't spend 60 bucks on the module I can't return.

    Wow. Just found this. I’m looking to install in my 2006 Sierra and Silverado LBZ’s.

    I understand the key+ wire from the head unit to the light green , but did you need to run the ground wire from the vehicle??

    Hi. So, you don't need an special harness? You can "bypass" directly the swc? BTW, the blue wire pin a2 correspond to? Sorry for my bad english and thank you in advance for your answer.

    How do you get the beeping to stop when you turn the volume up?

    These older cars can be challenging. Were you able to keep the "Chimes" for lights and doors etc?

      Older cars? Its an 04 its not THAT old. Yes the PAC module kept the rest if the OEM functions. Usually the PAC module does the steering wheel controls as well. This was just an issue because of the brand of radio chosen.

      @@mvpolo2k3 I have an '01 if that means anything! 20 years! What I meant was the interface wiring. I can use a simple harness for my Buick, but.. I lose the Chimes and stereo "on" and some other things...

      @@johng.4959 Yeah just get the right module. Also most of them dont have an ACC wire and need the module to keep RAP and other functions

    so the blue one just gets grounded?

    • @mvpolo2k3
      @mvpolo2k3  ปีที่แล้ว

      If i remember right. It needs a ground on one side. Then the resistor signal through the other side to the radio

      @@mvpolo2k3 so would I just tap in the ground wire from the stereo swc ground to the dark blue and the key 1 to the light green. Any help would be greatly appreciated

      @@johnnyjohnson5235 just follow how i did it in the video. One wire from the steering wheel goes to ground the other goes to the radio control wire..
