And thirdly, piano black everywhere? Goddamn fingerprints magnet. For this price it's ridiculous. It's still just an Audi with Chinese technology (battery, e-motors too I think).. 100k GBP? Ridiculous. I'll wait 6 to 9 months and pick this up with under 10k km on the odo for about half the price (I'm willing to bet this is gonna be the case). AutoTrader's e-tron long-termer with 3 or 4k miles lost how much - 46% in value? And that was before all the upgrades... If I were to spend this amount of money on a mid-size SUV, I'd rather go for the Macan. All the extra hook-ups I'd get would justify the increased price. BUT the sensible buy would be an X5 50E, 6-9 months old, for LESS than this.
The reason I can see that won’t do well it’s electric people in real world still not convinced. You can’t do run from northwest to London with quick return without sitting for hours for charging, that’s joke part you always still need diesel ⛽️
So the passenger getting their see only screen with satnav, so are we going back to when the missus would navigate for you while trying to read the AA Road Atlas ?
Cars are way too expensive. I realize new tech and all that but if we really "should move to electric cars" then it's the manufacturers responsibility as well to make cars affordable, not only the tax payers duty. Don't buy these cars is my tip, market hugely governs prices.
Another disposable junk EV no one wants or need. What’s worts you won’t be able to eto sell in few years because will be worth absolutely nothing where good petrol car will be worth double you paid for it.
Car tech is getting stupid. I don't want and would never use most of the tech this car has, yet I have to pay for it, carry it around, and fix it when it inevitably breaks.
The Corolla is a damn fine piece of equipment, that'll last long enough for the grandchildren to inherit. This monstrosity will spend most of it's time in a workshop, having some oddball electronic fault diagnosed.
In india we know this is not good for the environment in long term … hydrogen is the only option. As usual west is short sighted and mostly work around some agenda .
Beauty of a car, the 'E' factor ruins everything. Electric (battery) vehicles are doing nothing to the environment + we want to hear the engine not question whether we're driving a vehicle. The world is not ready for EV's...
So right and sadly, these are not zero emmisions, as the mining alone is catostrophic to the environment, the weight alone is absurd, infrastruture for energy is now a lost cause as we are not building Nuclear power stations, as importantly all we have done is outsourced our CO2 to other countries and yet the EV evangelists feel smug and pat themselves on the back, oh and they have the money whilst normal people are struggling and being forced into these cars that they cannot afford and have no longevity to boot...Someone is laughing so hard at the absurdity of it all....Oh and if we really want to bring CO2 down, lets just do something normal and plant more trees!!!!!
Someone has to Tell: 1st Audi with Mixed tires sizes of the modern times might be the RS3. But, talking twice about the worlds first, might suggest to do the homework, since the Q4 does a wider tire on the rear for 3 years now ;) Not turning the world this, but if you repeat facts so often you better double check. And yes I agree with everyone, it's way to expensive for what it is. Design, seems weird also with a brand new island for the driver and the last decade screen (A6/Q4) for the passenger. Would it be 120k if the passenger got a new design as well? Feels quickly done together since Audi has to move things now
The newest I've bought is a 6 month old Audi A3 S-Line 2.0 that the employees drove as a demo car. Much better pricing and a great spec plus engine worn in a little. Bought for 24k, now worth 16k and thats 8 years later so not too bad. I must say the Diesel debacle helped keep the price up
All I want, is to go from A to B, spending the least amount of money possible - and without all the pointless wizardry that'll never, ever ... EVER get used.
All the people here complaining about car prices in Europe and US, here in India it takes a fortune to buy even the cheapest or oldest Audi forget Q6 😂

Nutters price. Nahhh. And you compare range with the Tesla model Y with a much smaller capacity battery, however it is much more efficient. And BTW, a LOT more affordable. Given that only BYD and Tesla actually make a profit on selling their EV's, I'll opt for a Model 3 or Model Y or BYD and have nothing to feel embarrassed about next to this overpriced Audi at the traffic lights. Plus superior FSD.
Absolutely useless review. Ridiculous questions without answer at the end… you’re driving the damm car, you have to tell us if is better/same/worse than the rivals 🤦♂️
Am I the only mentally 12 yr old middle-aged man who had a chuckle when she described the difference in length between the 3 models? I was almost offended!
Correction. At 1:22, your statement of an Audi first about staggered wheels, even on an SUV is inaccurate. My 2022, Q4 SB has staggered wheels and tires. This is normal.
Its only worth it if you have £100,000 laying around or can afford the monthlys. No car is truly worth it if you're talking about a vehicle that can go A to B. Its about how it makes you feel - thats what makes it worth something.
Audi lost me ever since the SQ5 which was so boring for a sporty SUV. This EV is not good looking. Android crap infotainment systems is a no go. I am keeping my iX and waiting for the EV Porsche Cayenne.
I really, really ,truly, truly miss the Unambiguous & Rock-solid design language of 1990s Audi/VW! when volumes & graphics were indestructible, original & iconic.(TT 1st gen/A6-1997/PASSAT/GOLF-mark 4/AVUS CONCEPT..) now its looks like a mish-mesh of strangely misplaced surfaces & humdrum proportions
Forget the car but those trainers worn with the massive height lift!!!!!! Not sure how you can even drive with those on!!!! Onto the car, price is just getting out of hand (but that is nearly all makes though there are a few exceptions) as is the technology as the more they plumb the tech into the car, the more things can go worng and I bet it is eye waterring to repair should anything go wrong...sadly we seem to be going the appliance route and a throwaway culture when really we should be looking for things to last...this EV madness goes agains the very idea of environmentally friendly as they are anything but that...
All manufacturers lost the plot. Car prices are ridiculous and they are becoming ever more greedy, and yes, my money stays in my pocket. Anything above £40000 is an absolute con job.
The S model won't sell well. It's too expensive and everyone is now aware of the steep depreciation for EVs. If the Germans keep charging these crazy prices, it is inevitable Chinese car brands will end up outselling them in Europe. Notice how BYD is sponsoring Euro 2024 hosted in Germany, and not a German car brand. Das Auto (the People's Car) is no longer the people's car.
Good review. It's a shame they want to charge £500 for the hole left from where the engine used to be. In fact it's more tban that, it's downright embarrassing. Another strange Audism is that they won't let UK buyers spec air suspension on the lower models, you have to buy the SQ6 to get this. And those on screen HVAC controls, you still have to delve into the menus to adjust fan speed. Progress eh....
Great Audi add more crap we don't need and will push insurance costs up because replacement lights will be thousands. Why are ev's sold as fast to 60 mph ? All the tech you might use once bumps up the price on a £40k car to make more money for Audi. It will also depreciate to £40k in 3 years or less. Adaptive suspension will fail after warranty and be eye watering to replace. A big fat NO from me but most probably Yes from chavs.
What’s worrying is that the Chinese appear to be the only manufacturers who are innovating nowadays. This is simply an evolution of every Audi in the last few years both externally and internally and, therefore, boring. I can’t tell the difference between them.
Unlike Porsche, German brands Audi, Mercedes and BMW has lost their ways in design over the years. Gimmicky and forgettable are two words that come to mind. don’t think any of the recent design will be looked upon five years from now as being designs that age well. Quite unfortunate given this is the brand that gave us the iconic designs like the Audi TT, the Quattro, R8….
Every suv and car that is ok apparently cost 60k to 100k and electric. And this stuff is not reliable enough to drive long distance, late night, and back roads. To much anxiety 😂
Really nice review! Have to replace my current etron and this is the most promising contented so far. For an SUV in that class, you expect 100k+ anyway.
At that price it's hard to compare the Q6 against a Model Y. There are too many options that make this car far too expensive - even the frunk is an option. And when you talk about the 'Audi quality' did you feel the cheap plastic trim on the door and the door pockets? If Audi want to stay in the EV game they need to look around at the competition, especially from China, and figure out how to make a better value car.
Rival?. Same cars same thing. Both owned by VW. Very possible same platform and batteries and everything but a logo. Fooling ppl making us think we have choices and competition just an illusion!
Very nice, but I still want to see the A6/RS6 e-Tron, I still can't believe how audi hasn't ceased on tgat design yet, well until now with this new Q model. Still audi could make an RS6 eTron to compete with Tesla Model S and shame MB EQS Sedan.
It needs to be quicker. A 0 to 60 mph of 2.9 to 3.1 would get me to buy it. The asking price for the SQ6 at 90 grand it's also a bit steep considering I can buy a 1-year-old or two-year-old etron. G t r s for less
The average UK wage SHOULD be something like £100k per year minimum to afford all this shit! Oh wait we are just slaves, being good little peasants for our shit pay at the end of the month and it's already gone within a week almost.
Price is insane, but these will mainly be leased. Leasing companies get these cars with steep discounts, so after a typical lease of 3 years they can sell this one easily for 50% of the rediculously high list-price, 2nd owner thinks he got a great deal. Private first owners will get burned, that's for sure.

The plug in X5 is definitely an attractive way to go electric. Even new it's cheaper than this.
This Audi looks really good, inside and out.
Not inside, and not that much outside
It looks like most of all other Audis ))
The inside looks like a Tesla which is a third the price
It's not worth the money or the stress of worrying about charging
The reason I can see that won’t do well it’s electric people in real world still not convinced. You can’t do run from northwest to London with quick return without sitting for hours for charging, that’s joke part you always still need diesel ⛽️
So the passenger getting their see only screen with satnav, so are we going back to when the missus would navigate for you while trying to read the AA Road Atlas ?
Those were good days! We ended up in some very unusual places!
£93,000 for a thing that will cost £10,000 in 10 years. No thanks. Better invest in Stocks or Real Estate...
Stunning car! Sad that it’s an EV.
Stunning car! Glad that it’s an EV.
See what I did there? I only changed three letters! 😄 😜
You can have the newly announced Q5 with ICE powertrains.
Their decisions are getting out of hand, they'll lose the company, what is that temu interior?
Imagine paying 100k for this boring car
Cars are way too expensive. I realize new tech and all that but if we really "should move to electric cars" then it's the manufacturers responsibility as well to make cars affordable, not only the tax payers duty. Don't buy these cars is my tip, market hugely governs prices.
Another disposable junk EV no one wants or need. What’s worts you won’t be able to eto sell in few years because will be worth absolutely nothing where good petrol car will be worth double you paid for it.
93K for a battery and some disco lights. We live in a mad, mad world.
Car tech is getting stupid. I don't want and would never use most of the tech this car has, yet I have to pay for it, carry it around, and fix it when it inevitably breaks.
Well keep driving your '88 Corolla. Nobody cares.
The Corolla is a damn fine piece of equipment, that'll last long enough for the grandchildren to inherit. This monstrosity will spend most of it's time in a workshop, having some oddball electronic fault diagnosed.
@@phuketexplorer I can't get inside the thoughts in your head.
£93,000, F that !!! I may consider if Audi release a Diesel and it needs to be at a cost which does not make me shit me adult diaper.
Depends on how you look at it.
Someone has to Tell:
1st Audi with Mixed tires sizes of the modern times might be the RS3.
But, talking twice about the worlds first, might suggest to do the homework, since the Q4 does a wider tire on the rear for 3 years now ;)
Not turning the world this, but if you repeat facts so often you better double check.
And yes I agree with everyone, it's way to expensive for what it is. Design, seems weird also with a brand new island for the driver and the last decade screen (A6/Q4) for the passenger. Would it be 120k if the passenger got a new design as well? Feels quickly done together since Audi has to move things now
good point on that RS3's reverse stagger
And also it looks like a Ford Explorer in the front.
I never forget a face either.
Do the rear lights throw a middle finger at 1:59 ? Nice
I'd never buy brand new car, as soon as you leave the showroom the value of the vehicle drops like a stone.
The newest I've bought is a 6 month old Audi A3 S-Line 2.0 that the employees drove as a demo car.
Much better pricing and a great spec plus engine worn in a little.
Bought for 24k, now worth 16k and thats 8 years later so not too bad.
I must say the Diesel debacle helped keep the price up
That car door handles are the big no 😂😂😂😂😂
All I want, is to go from A to B, spending the least amount of money possible - and without all the pointless wizardry that'll never, ever ... EVER get used.
This was def NOT the video for you! Target audience / Audi costumers usually want to spend / get more than A to B.
Starting to love Alex's reviews so much. Good job.
Her shoes are ridiculous.
She's actually 5' 5'' without them 😄
She's a bit like a fancy screen in the dash...distracting. 🤣 Was there car in this video?
@@phuketexplorer I started cracking up when she said i'm 5"8 lol 🤣🤣
This rear cup holders and the A/C controlls on a screen, sorry but no
Another Audi E-Tron that looks the same as everything else. Bore off
All the people here complaining about car prices in Europe and US, here in India it takes a fortune to buy even the cheapest or oldest Audi forget Q6 😂
hybryd car with baterry are all having trouble a lot this day betetr without hybrid engine.
The Macan 4 starts at £70k. With some careful options, 80k - Audi want HOW MUCH?!?!
This starts at £63k so it is cheaper than the Macan.
Why .. are A1 + Women .. telling us Men .. what to drive.. just asking ??
Two years old will cost 60% less 💁♂️
Damn I miss the times when Rory would be explaining, he is so good, this was a missed opportunity... Cheers to her but I'd rather listen to Rory compliment a car, he is so good. I couldn't finish watching the video sorry baby girl
I'm not buying EV anytime soon for sure
Nice car, but not 93 fking grand nice.
The rear brake lights look like they're changing shape, I'm going to get closer to make sure.
I like it. But is it better than my SQ5? No....and it costs 50% more. Would I take one over a Macan? No. So who is going to buy them exactly?
Audi already had wider rear wheels on the e-tron GT.
Absolutely useless review. Ridiculous questions without answer at the end… you’re driving the damm car, you have to tell us if is better/same/worse than the rivals 🤦♂️
It’s half Audi half Porsche so that’s why price is high
Expensive platform = expensive car. (and I know that is bad math, unlike the next commentator)
Electric cars are much more expensive than peteol vehicles, and an equivalent V6 peteol version would probably be under 80K
ngl, it atleast looks pretty good
much better actually compared to what BMW's cooking
Great review. I’m really liking this , but for now I’ll keep my SQ7.
Was there a car being reviewed? I only clicked on it because of Alex. 😀❤️
I think Audi requested her for that reason. Hoping against hope, that one might not notice the front end or the price of the Q6.
You mean copying
Unlike Porsche, German brands Audi, Mercedes and BMW has lost their ways in design over the years. Gimmicky and forgettable are two words that come to mind. don’t think any of the recent design will be looked upon five years from now as being designs that age well. Quite unfortunate given this is the brand that gave us the iconic designs like the Audi TT, the Quattro, R8….
Every suv and car that is ok apparently cost 60k to 100k and electric. And this stuff is not reliable enough to drive long distance, late night, and back roads. To much anxiety 😂
Did you attend some sort of training to learn this nonsense, or does it just come naturally?
( Read the comment above by @iainwoods3704)
It’s funny how range numbers differs in the US - 307 miles for Q6 and 275 for SQ6. It’s range in UK is embarrassingly exaggerated. Don’t be fooled
I have a Q8 50TDi and have been a bit of an EV-sceptic, however, I'm genuinely interest in a SQ6 for my next car!
