Just wanted to say what you seemed to have fogotten to mentioned with your powet figures. The 2025 Bentley Conti hybrid coupe weighs about 1500 lbs more than the DB12 and about 1600-1700 more than the Roma. It could on crish those sport tourers if you put the conti on top of them.
Idk what Bentley is doing. The car looks fine, but it really doesn't feel very different from the previous gen. Sure you get a hybrid, new headlights and a few tweaks here and there but... even if this car just came out, it already feels dated. I'm guessing you guys had to be ultra positive since you were on an all-paid trip, but I wish you had emphasized the downs of this car. When saying at 12:40 "they could've been a bit braver with the design"... that's really putting it lightly. I see Bentley putting a lot of money on marketing and influencers lately, but I really think they should put that money on actually creating more appealing, more revolutionary, real benchmark cars.
As a GT the boot space is seriously compromised. It would have been better had bentley kept the w12 and have a smaller battery pack to compensate for the EV credentials. A Gt without reasonable boot space isnt really a GT
What about the ride quality, sensation in start stop traffic, is it any better at anything other than speed over the previous Continental? If only speed that's a major letdown. Bentley's just being a lazy crap company with their new models they're the exact same as the old ones.
This would not be top of my list of cars following this review. It is just not special enough, I feel the criticism of the car are valid and the boot is woeful for the size of car given it is a car you should be able to drive across continent with ease. The miles per gallon along with the hybrid nature of the car all make it a clever choice of car but at this price point I do not believe you are looking to save on fuel. The car needed something to show that it had evolved a little further than it has done so thus far.
It takes quite a while to charge. Do we know if it will deplete the battery if you drive it hard for a length of time on the road? would be interesting to know how much/fast it recharges through the engine?
Bentley Continental is by far my favourite luxury cars.. you can drive it yourself or be chauffered in. Much prefer these over any rolls royce or ferraris out there. Thats just me though! 😊❤

I think during the 5-10 they will take and entire automobile industry if they are allowed on the world market

I don't like the way Bentley has changed the headlights with that horizontal band. It reminds me of a Genesis.
